The boys in the deli make some of the best sandwiches around town.
I eat here around 6 times per week (I live within a stone’s throw) and basically hit up the hero’s for lunch… favorites:
Boston, Rueben and Chicken Fillet with Bacon.
All are pretty cheap $ 6 — $ 9
For breakfast the omelette’s are banging! They are about $ 4.95 and come loaded with potato hash, two pieces of toast and they taste amazing.

I’ve never even been inside because I’m so captivated by their outside displays. Love their selection of fresh flowers. My go to spot when I want to put a smile on my wife’s face!

I love stopping by before I catch the bus to the NYU campus. Everything is super affordable and they have really yummy sandwiches and paninis. They also have a surprisingly wide variety of good snacks. I also highly suggest the freshly squeezed orange juice because I’m currently totally hooked!

Go to deli around my friends apartment. The guys who work here are friendly and I feel like the place is always open, even late night. The panini game is on point, I always get the chicken fajita or tuna melt paninis.

If you’re in a hurry and in this area, this place has a plethora of food options & others. Also, you can also get sandwiches and salads made here too. Prices are decently priced.

Service is quick and friendly! Food tastes good. I’ve had their chicken fajita and chicken parmesan panini. Portions are large enough for the price. I’d definitely recommend them as a place to start if you’re undecided about lunch.

Pretty good food, prices are alright but the Ruben is amazing I must say. TOTALLY recommend this place for a quick sandwich.

I was out enjoying a night at my old college bar a few storefronts away from this deli. Towards the end of the night I walk by the deli storefront. I look at the apples and examine what currency I have on my person. Seeing as I only have a 20 $ bill, 10 $ bill, and 100 $ I choose not to purchase a $ 1 apple as I don’t want to break any of the bills (and not being all that hungry after having a sandwich from the bagel store next door). These arrogant pieces of shit come outside, with two people, accusing me of stealing an apple claiming «I have it on video». Being accused of stealing is something I take seriously. Especially when it is in front of my friends and claims are made that «I have it on video». Being a person that hasn’t stolen anything clearly I demand to see this video evidence as I know I have not taken anything. All of a sudden they don’t have access to this video. Then they try to push me off as if «oh its OK just leave it be». On principle I refuse to give this place any business and hope all others choose to being their business to other establishments. If I could give lower than 1 star I would.

Great place to buy flowers! They’re decently priced for the neighborhood & the staff is pleasant and friendly.
