If you thought next door prices were outrageous come here. You almost have to sell your new born child for anything here.
I know there has to be some mark up but come on. I ran out of water so got two bottles of seltzer water from here and it was $ 6. I guess it is my own darn fault. I could have walked 4 blocks down to Duane Read and save $ 3 but that’s what I pay for laziness.
Next time I’ll just tell myself the walk is good for you.

Ehhh it’s a deli; not much more to say. Happy with food, employees are nice. Order for delivery a lot at work and that’s where it’s unknown territory. Recently ordered breakfast and it didn’t arrive for 90 mins. Sometimes it’s 15 mins… sometimes it’s 90… you just never know!

Bad customer service, employees working with a cold (sick), and the food isn’t all the great. This morning I walked in to order a breakfast sandwhich, and right after I placed my order I noticed that the cook was sneezing, his eyes were watery and his face was red: he was coming down with a cold, no doubt. I squirmed, but felt bad not paying for the wrap I had just ordered, so I bought it anyway. When I was about to pay, I took out a $ 20 and the cashier, whom I think is also the manager/​owner, gave me an attitude because I didn’t have exact change – she ALWAYS gives me an attitude about something. She then gave me my change very rudely, and didn’t even say thank you. I’ve worked in customer service before, theirs suck! Never ever going back to this place!

The receptionist at my hair salon said she grans lunch from this place around the block, so I stopped by here for a sandwich. It was about 1pm and the place was not busy at all, just one person ordering a salad.
Red flag: the walls were old and beaten up, the menu signage was old and faded with price stickers peeling off. The pan inis are listed as $ 6.95 but the guy behind the computer told me «$ 1 extra for paninis» (but not indicated on the sign!). Then he says he’s out of jalapeños, and the sliced avocado on the counter has browning on it.
So I walked out real quick. Eating here would likely make me ill.

This is like any of the hundreds of nameless NYC delis. They have sandwiches, terrible bagels, mediocre coffee, etc.
This one just happens to be near my office, and since one day I refused to buy a shitty $ 11 smoothie for lunch like my health-​conscious co-​workers, I stopped in for a sandwich.
They have a substantial list of «signature» combinations, and I went with the Smokey: smoked turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, honey mustard. It was nothing special, but it was $ 7 (because they put it on a hero without asking, it’s $ 6 on a roll), and it came with a free water because it was lunchtime.
I would rather just have a cheaper sandwich, but such is life.

M.K. is right — NEVER GO HERE… they rip you off and charge a new cost every time your there… Plus they charge a «CREDIT CARD FEE» of up to $ 2 for minor purchases. Nothing like buying a $ 1.75 item and having to pay $ 1 just for using a card. Plus they water down their coffee big time — place is a MAJOR RIP OFF

I stop here to get my morning bagel and an emergen-​c packet if I’m feeling a little blah. They have decent bagels, cheap coffee, really yummy smoothies, and a variety of snacks and drinks to choose from. Great, quick morning stop.
Also, there’s a bodega kitty that lives there which would probably be totes gross if she weren’t so darned cute and friendly.

A good lunch special — order a sandwich for $ 5.75 and up and get a free bottle of water. So, the lunch prices are pretty cheap and the sandwiches are satisfactory, if not better.
It’s a good place to grab a sandwich and head out to Union Square to eat and people-​watch if the weather is nice!

Overpriced, mean owners, But and a Big But, you can chill and drink your beer there otherwize known as bodega bar. So for that you get four stars.
