Good taste. The cheese may be a little too stretchy, as it’ll fall off the pizza. But it satisfied my hunger. Just tastes like an average NY slice.

I am still waiting for my food to be delivered after ordering it an hour and a half ago. I called the restaurant fifteen minutes ago, and not only was the man who answered the phone repeatedly disappearing, it was clear he wasn’t even listening to me because(when he would return to the phone after leaving without notice) he would ask me to repeat myself. He finally told me it would be here in five minutes, and fifteen minutes later, I’m more than extremely disappointed. Won’t be ordering again.

When our total was like $ 6.70 they wouldn’t let us use our credit card because it didn’t reach the $ 7 minimum they have. I had no cash and offered them option of letting the thirty cents slide or making $ 0. They chose to make $ 0 and I left. I could understand if I was spending like $ 2 not to let me use the card but it’s horrible business sense to turn down a sale for a measly $.30. I miss the days where minimum credit card charges weren’t allowed. If you’re going to accept credit cards at your place a business, you should have to accept credit cards without exceptions.

Eerily fast delivery of surprisingly low-priced pizza that reminds me of the slices of my youth. Before this gourmet ghettoization cropped up like poisonous mushrooms all over the place. Yum, mofos.

Neighborhood staple with a quick turnaround for some decent pizza. Whenever my boyfriend and I feel lazy and want to stay in, we make a call to Tom’s and after 15 minutes, our large pizza half laced with mushrooms and the other half with sausage is ready for us to pickup.

Pizza is good. Delivered on time(less than 15 min). Small regular margarita(4 slices good for 2 people) cost $ 8. Cannot complain. I love the sauce and cheese itself.

Delivery pizza from here was super fast, even in the rain — dude was soaking wet and somehow showed up before I could even think twice about my order. The base pizza is somewhat dry and bland, but on the upside, it’s also decidedly un-greasy. I topped mine with ham and jalapenos to spice things up, which was maybe a mistake for an entire pizza… Hard to eat 8 slices of jalapenos in any span of time. Slices are unfortunately $ 3-ish but the whole pie prices are reasonable.

Solid local pizza place for by the slice orders, everything else is basically pre made but decent for late night or quick food at great prices with awesome staff. The cashier here is the nicest guy at any of the places in the area. Pizza: solid Motz sticks: ok Fries: ok Prices: best in the area

Decent pizza, but poor service. Recently I returned home after my flight was cancelled and ordered a hero to pick up. They forgot the hero, which to me is a cardinal sin for a pizzeria. The guy behind the counter blamed«the other guy», who was not there. Insulting. They do a robust business and certainly will survive without me. I will go the extra distance to VT or Koronet.

I called just now to setup a pizza delivery cause my kids who I’m babysitting are REALLY hungry. And, the manager there«Alberto» declined a delivery after he asked for my address which is near 130th and broadway. He’s sayin he CANNOT deliver, because they close at 11pm. THISPLACEISBOGUS! Alberto was at 1st gonna take the order and now he won’t! Good job! TOMS delivery never will order from here! Smh

Cheap, fast pizza. If you want a no frills plain slice, come here. If you want atmosphere, go elsewhere.

Hanging with some homies, planning to go the cheap route and order Dominos for dinner. Fortunately our friend from Albany was in town and he insisted we grab a slice at a pizzeria instead. So we came here solely out of convenience and got a bunch of pepperoni, sausage and cheese slices to go. First time trying this place so if what I tasted wasn’t just a fluke, then lemme say the pizza here is true to the restaurant name– delicious! My buddy from Albany wholeheartedly agreed. Another friend wasn’t so impressed but shortly thereafter she described one of her favorites slices as being deep dish with ricotta cheese. So basically not a credible opinion on pizza.

Best Pizza North of Columbia, But That’s Not Saying Much If you happen to be on the Teacher’s College end of Columbia, at like 120th, and don’t feel like walking down ten blocks to get good pizza, you can walk up five blocks to get meh pizza. Tom’s is slightly worse than the average NY pizza, and the drink selection really leaves something to be desired. They didn’t put the broccoli and mushroom slices into the oven for a long enough time, so they came out kind of cold. Of course, normally you’d just ask the person behind the counter to heat them more — but I was in a rush. I hate to be picky about such things, but I believe that the job of properly regulating the temperature of my pizza falls squarely on the cooks. That’s half the reason that take-out pizza exists: you get it when you’re in the middle of a project and need something you can eat while walking. Little pizza joints like this are exactly the place where you oughtn’t have to think about what you’re getting. And all I wanted to drink was something without sugar or caffeine. Not everybody always wants to drive themselves hyper with 42 grams of sucrose. And so I scanned the cans and bottles behind the register, and I couldn’t find *any* just plain old juices. My choices were sodas, Snapple, or water. So because I was thirsty and needed something to wash down the lukewarm pizza, I had little choice but to pay $ 2.50 for a bottle of water which tasted remarkably like tap water, the tap water in New York City being quite excellent, and conicidentally, free at drinking fountains all over campus. Moral of the story? You’re at Columbia and want good pizza? GOSOUTH.(Make sure to pass the Uni Café — check the reviews if you want to know what I mean.) Walk the extra few blocks. For goodness’ sakes, life is too short to eat meh pizza.

This place isn’t bad, but it’s not exactly good either. The crust is a little floury and is not as crispy as I prefer, but the sauce and cheese are fine, if a little bland. A slice of cheese costs $ 2.25. The garlic knots are decent, but they taste like rolls with chopped garlic from a jar sprinkled on top of them. However, it costs $ 1 for four of them, so I can’t exactly complain. If this place were located farther downtown, it would probably go out of business because it is not even close to some of the other pizza places in Manhattan. That said, it’s a fine place if you live nearby and are craving pizza, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get pizza from here.

Pizza places can be less consistant that other restaurants. There isn’t just one experienced hard working chef leading the team, usually there’s two to five dudes at various points on their road to pizza greatness. So maybe I went here when the intern was starting his first day. I’m honestly not sure where the positive reviews are coming from. The place is a little run down, no big deal, I just came for the pizza. The service is brusque, the place is run by folks slaving over a hot oven, I don’t care that they don’t care. But when the fruits of their labor is bland, and does a mediocre job of competing with dominos, I’ll spend my money elsewhere. The crust was tough and chewy, the cheese was completely estranged from the sauce and the dough, and the whole thing was forgettable. Pros: Cheap Cons: You get what you pay for.

What a gem! Tucked all the way up there in Manhattanville! One of those joints that seems really gross and nasty but has excellent, excellent food. Apparently only a few locals and blue collar construction-road-work-type workers know about it. These slices are stacked with lots of cheese and toppings, for a cheap price. I had this meat-lovers slice that had a ricotta white sauce and mozzarella. Whew, it was good. The sausage slice was nice as well. I’m going back tomorrow to try a slice of the white pizza. Great sized slices, perfectly foldable, excellent crust. Yeesh. You almost hate to gush about it too much. I would go out of my way to get this slice again. If you’re in the Morningside Heights, west Harlem, Manhattanville, Columbia U. area, trek a bit down the hill on the west side of Broadway to see if you agree with me.

I used to order from here a good amount and it was decent, but this is not to say that I wouldn’t order from here again. The plain cheese pizza never disappointed and their other menu options as well, like the heros or pastas or buffalo wings. I just saw some inconsistencies that made me prefer other pizza places in the area, i.e. canned mushrooms and more recently, burnt garlic knots. In the end, this place gives you a pretty great deal for your money and delivers quick; which is sometimes all you need out here.

I grabbed lunch on a very rainy day two days ago at Tom’s Delicious Pizza, and frankly, I was just glad to be inside at that point. The gladness ended there. This was horrible, horrible, pizza reminiscent of when I was a little boy, bought«pizza dough» in Foodtown with my mom, and tried to make my own on a metal pizza stone in our combination microwave/convection oven. Wait, it’s much worse than that. The crust really tasted like that supermarket, Pillsbury pizza crust, gummy, chewy, doughy, and the cheese was not the slightest bit integrated to the surface of the sauce, and instead just came off in unsatisfying shredded-cheese-shaped pieces. There’s a real lack of good, quick, lunch-y places around the Riverside Church/Manhattan School of Music/International House area. Sigh. The«Are these photos helpful?» photos at the bottom of the box I’m writing in right now look gross, and in fact are very helpful. This is what you’ll get if you eat here. Avoid at all costs.
