Wow — Boris is awesome. After months of so-​so cuts (and I am not at all picky about my hair) it was so good to find someone who knew what he was doing. Boris took the time to make sure I got what I wanted (and that wasn’t even clear to me at the time).
Affordable, clean and professional. I’d would love to bring him over to the UK with me if I could.

Great barber shop on 3rd ave. Friendly staff. Boris was very easy going. I got a basic cut but he did it well. Very detail oriented. No stray hairs. Ha.

This place is wonderful! It is inexpensive and the customer service is to die for! I had a great conversation with Boris and he gave me exactly what I wanted. He even delved into the straight razor territory! I didn’t have the exact right amount for a sizable enough tip, but next time I will definitely come prepared!

Have been to this place a few times now and am glad I started coming here. Boris is great. He takes the time to figure out exactly what you want and doesn’t rush in doing it. Prices are good too. $ 18 for a cut plus tip. Great place if you’re looking for a good cut at a reasonable price.

I went there yesterday and I got a good cut. I was skeptical because I am dark person and my hair is not completely straight but they made me a believer. I got my haircut by this guy Robert and he was good. There is no doubt I will be going back to these guys.

This was the best haircut I have gotten in a very long time. I had Robert, he pays close attention and perfects the cut. He’s a man who if his name is attached to it he wants it perfect, because of this and the haircut he just earned himself a life long customer.

Great atmosphere for a barber shop. I was consumed in the conversation and the TV’s that were around me. They were showing a classic in Scary Movie 2 and Tommy Boy! Doesn’t get much better than that. The trim i got was very precise and done with ultimate care. The hair wash was a good touch as well. Nobody likes to have that hair lingering there for the rest of the day. I’d sure go back to look and feel spiffy.

Simply put, this is a superb barber shop. Boris and crew really take their time and are very skilled.
There are many barber shops in the neighborhood and in Manhattan, but I won’t consider any other. Always a perfect haircut with pampering thrown in. Great prices too.
The décor is also designer-​like. Not your typical barber shop. They even have Belly. Get 10 haircuts and the next one if free.

I happened to need a haircut and just left a meeting when I looked up and there it was. I walked across the street and got a haircut. This place is pretty convenient for me. I would love to become a regular customer because they have freebies after 10 visits. It’s a little on the pricey side for me only since I usually cut my own hair but it was nice to have it done by a pro. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in need of a cut & shave and too lazy to do it myself. They’re pretty nice people and I like how they have iPads for checkout.

Borris is the man! If you go to NYU, or Baruch college or happen to live anywhere around 23rd street, check this place out.
There are always sports games or movies running and the quality of the haircuts are phenomenal.
