The Trump Bar

Bar was good, however the weightier this evening spent more time in his phone than tending the customers

Just what you would expect from a Trump building… Trump, Trump and more Trump.

Do not order the Billionaire Martini expecting it to have what it says. The kitchen was «to busy» to roast the tomatoes and marinate the olives. So buyer beware. A little touristy but a neat little bar.

Looking for a place to get a drink? You absolutely can’t go wrong here! As pretentious as some people may think anything Trump is, you will quickly see that is not the case here. First, the trump tower is a residence for the wealthy. Trump makes this his home when he is in New York (he occupies the top three floors). Second, in case you were wondering where trump does all of his on ca, era interviews from, he sits in the bar on a stool in the corner. The staff here are not just great, they are down to earth and funny. You never know what’s going to happen here. I highly recommend this little treasure.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time here, surprisingly. It’s touristy and plays cheesy pop music that makes me want to blow my brains out by the amount of bubble gum pop that I heard. However, i ordered a great Malbec and when I heard that the kitchen was closed, they gave me a bunch of free pretzels on the house… you also can’t beat the happy hour.

Enjoyed a drink while out shopping. Very nice atmosphere.

Small yet intimate, dark yet classy, this bar with leather couches, ottomans and tables is a great place to grab a drink if you’re in the Trump Tower. Today, the World Cup was playing on the flat screen TVs, which held the attention of everyone, including the servers. But we were able to order drinks and an order of fries. The fries were crispy and warm. A generous bowl, enough for two people to share, was only $ 5. A Campari and soda was $ 12 but they also offered World Cup drink specials so my bottle of Bud Light was only $ 4. A bargain.
They included the tip on the bill, which is totally OK by me. Just be aware that they do.
This is a great bar to grab a drink alone and not feel lonely. But they don’t offer a whole heck of a lot of food or drink options, which is OK!

Perfect place to have a business meeting and for networking. The happy hour is great for a bar on Fifth Avenue and other than that the regulars in this bar are amazing!

Not a bad bar! I’d been in the building before to go to the Starbucks and stopped by for some of the drink specials. They had 5 $ drafts of two really good microbrews (can’t remember what they are now). I felt a little out of place, not being a business man, but it wasn’t very crowded. Their credit card machine was broken the day that I went but I’m sure they’ve fixed it by now.

Rechts Gucci, links Louis Vuitton, gegenüber Prada. Sonntagnachmittag. Es muss nochmal final auf der 5^th Avenue geshoppt werden. Ich mochte Donald Trump nie. Doch heute will ich meine Meinung partiell ändern. Ich habe extra darauf verzichtet NASCAR, die nordamerikanischen Tourenwagenrennen, im TV im Hotel sehen zu wollen. Und nun lande ich in Trumps Bar und im Fernseher laufen die letzten 50 Runden des Rennens. Das Leben kann gleichzeitig gerecht, schön und spannend sein. Ich sitze also in der Bar, schaue auf dem gerade noch gross genug erscheinenden Monitor das Rennen und freue mich. Die Bar ist recht dunkel und der Trump Tower wirkt auch etwas antiquiert in seiner Art. Aber die dunkle Bar hat alles, was ich brauche: Netten Service, lecker Lager und eine shoppende Begleitung. Leider gewinnt der Favorit das Rennen, der nicht meiner ist und noch vor der Siegerehrung ist meine Begleitung zurück, da es draussen schüttet. Das war die Glücksinsel des Tages. Nicht meckern.
