Luckily passed by this place while running errands. Always see it on twitter, but just haven’t had the chance to check it out. The woman working was very friendly and gave me and another girl a sample. I got a brownie, chocolate chip cookie, and oatmeal chocolate chip cookie today. All delicious!

Delicious food and great customer service. I particularly love the chocolate chip cookie. Also really like the rice krispie treats… those are really good as well. I had the opportunity to work with them at a recent charity event and they were excellent to work with. Would highly recommend them for events in the future.

One of the many, many things I love about NYC is the multitude of food truck and outdoor food vendors. This particular truck is always right outside my hotel and I cannot pass by here without getting something quick on my way to work in the morning. The sweets always look so good, and there is a nice wide variety for a simple food truck. The coffee I must say is good for it being a food truck. The guy that attend is very courteous, which is a rare thing to find in such an un-friendly city.

I came across the treats truck today and I am sooooo thrilled to write this review!!! I ordered brownies, mini apple pie and cupcakes! Everything was absolutely delicious and she was so friendly and inviting! And she even gave my daughters and I a free sample as we left it was an oatmeal crème cookie out of sight!!! Every last item I purchased was fresh and tasted amazing I will definitely return in the future great desserts and customer service!!!

Three words: chocolate chip cookies. Seriously, Kim’s are sinfully-delicious. Plus, she’s a very nice person.

Am I a fat bastard? Yes. Do I care? No. Am I sexy and I know it? Yes. Do I need a midday snack? Yes. Do I love their lemon squares? Yes. Do they really ask if I want the corner, side, or middle? Yes. Is my frequent buyer card almost stamped up? No comment — all I know is that the truck is on 45th Street between 6th and 7th Ave on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Are you suffering from a food coma? Did you have a heavy lunch? Too much ramen/too much pizza? Are you bored at the office? Are you craving something sweet? If you answer is yes to any of the above questions, the Treats Truck is the answer. The lady is really nice. She usually has some samples that you can try. My favorite is the rice crispy treat. Tip: *Get a punch card!

One word: Dangerous. No wait, two words: Dangerous & Sinful. No wait, three words: Dangerous, Sinful & Delicious. No… wait, seven words: Dangerous, Sinful, Delicious &OUTOFTHISWORLD!!! The truck is ridiculously cheap, especially for Manhattan. The woman working is so sweet, and frequently offers her customers samples(there are also samples in the window… and they’re nice and big and sweet and yummy). If you’re going to go for a mid-day treat, stop by the truck. I’m sure there is nothing on the menu that isn’t good. Makes me wish I hadn’t binged on left over Easter candy last night so that I could indulge today in more treats without feeling totally disgusting.

you see it on TV and you’re like yah whatever i’ll never have that. And then it happens one day you are walking around NYC and there is it. The Truck. The Treats Truck really exists and it is awe inspiring. She should have an option on the menu for a reasonable price«one of everything» and I am sure it would be popular. I had a rice krispie treat type thing that was probably the best i have ever had. I need to start planning my NYC excursions around where this truck is parked.

Love love love The Treats Truck! It’s parked around the Flatiron area once or twice a week and I look forward to it every time! Especially in the afternoon because that’s when my sweet tooth makes an appearance. Not that I need it, but I always purchase 4 cookies. It helps that it’s only $ 1 each! My favorites are the chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin. Yums! P. S. They have a punch card for if you purchase 9 treats, your 10th treat is free.

Lookin’ for a snack around Flatiron the treat trucks is here to save the day. As it’s Valentines Day i liked how they hand valentines shaped sandwich cookies with raspberry. Yum. The truck owner Kim is super nice and always recommends to me the right kind of treat i’m looking for as a afternoon break. Highly affordable and the baked goods are fresh. I’m a fan of all their sandwich cookies. The peanut butter and jelly sandwich cookie, chocolate sandwich cookies are all flavorful and a soft cookie texture. The rice krispy treats are great as well with lots of ingredients. Looking for a sugar rush pick me up. The treat trucks is the way to go.

You know when you have a REALLY bad day and the only thing that will make it better is a cookie, cupcake, brownie etc? Yeah, that’s how I was feeling yesterday. After spending an hour or so bawling my eyes out in Bryant Park, I had a thought. Why not look for the treats truck? I’ve had it bookmarked for YEARS now. I might as well finally try these elusive treats. Well, the minute I bit into the glorious peanut butter and jelly cookie, the tears dried from my face. With each savory, sweet, and salty bite, I felt stronger and stronger. The bad thoughts vanished and all I could think about was how wonderful sweets are. The PB and J cookie was the best thing I had. I also enjoyed the brown sugar sandwich cookie. The mexican chocolate brownie was pretty good as well. The cheesecake brownie was the weakest item I tried. While these were not the best sweets I’ve had, they certainly made my day much brighter. So thank you, treats truck, thank you.

Kim makes wonderful sweet treats! Had the wonderful opportunity to meet her during a Harvest Festival hosted by TOWN on E79th and 2nd Ave this weekend. It was amazing! It was so refreshing to meet someone who’s so successful and yet so down to earth and passionate about her work. The mini pumpkin cupcakes were delicious with a cream cheese frosting! Hot chocolate and hot apple cider hit the spot on a chilly day! The sugar cookies and pumpkin cookies were so popular, she ran out before I could try them. Loved the treats trunk and loved Kim! DEFINITELY checking out the storefront in the VERY near future! Thanks again Kim!

I don’t like brownies. But these aren’t brownies. They are close to homestyle dessert perfection as I’ve had in ages. Ok maybe that’s the sugar rush from that raspberry brownie i just wolfed down talking, but seriously, the crunch-to-fudginess ratio was perfect, with the raspberry tang sparking everything off beautifully. The caramel crème sandwich looked innocuously plebeian, but crumbled dreamily into a creamy vanilla blanket on the tongue. Yumminess. Yes, Magnolia and Billy’s Bakery make prettier gifts, but if you want to curl up at home and smear chocolate on your chin in sugar-fueled bliss, then this is the real deal.

The scene a snowy Saturday morning the weekend before Valentine’s Day(not that it is any of your business but I am most likely going to have a hot date with channing tatum and rachel mcadams that day) I am trekking off to drop off my compostables and textile cast offs at the green market when I notice the treat truck on 8th ave and union. What is better than a romantic comedy: SUGAR. I hooked myself up with a carrot cake square and a peanut butter chocolate cookie. The carrot cake was moist with sinfully rick cream cheese frosting. The real story for me was the peanut butter cookie(options were PB/PB or PB/Jelly) This PB cookie with chocolate was moist and that is no small feat. YUM! I hustled home and gorged out.

This truck is now in the LIC Food Truck Lot on Fridays. I now have a reason to leave the office for lunch everyday. I walk two blocks and I end up in a parking lot with 2 or 3 different trucks, depending on the day. Friday was the Treats truck, the Desi food truck and the Frying Dutchmen truck. I had lunch but I was looking for a dessert. I opted for the carrot cake. And boy was it good. If you ever want to convince me to do anything, carrot cake will lead you straight into my heart and melt me. Well, good carrot cake, that is… It was extremely moist with visible shreds of carrots. The cream cheese frosting was perfect too. My eyes rolled back into my head and I was in sheer heaven. Too bad I had to come back to reality… A nice place to grab some sweet goodies. I highly recommend it. They also have a nice hippie vibe to it, and I appreciate the warm, friendly staff. Also, if you buy 10 items, the next one is free. I am on my way to a free piece of carrot cake!

Thank you Treats Truck for always parking on 5th ave and 38th st, south east corner. So reliable. I know I can walk to this corner for a sweet fix* to brighten up my day. As I’m writing this review, there is carrot cake in my mouth. Moist, flavorful piece of goodness with tiny bits of carrots and the perfect amount of sweetness*. Ah yes, LIFEISGOOD.** Total damage: $ 6 — carrot cake, oatmeal cookie and 2 chocolate chip cookies. * I hardly ever crave for sweet treats. Food that is. **Even if it’s been a long day, long week, long year. Oh it’s only 1÷13÷11?

GETOVERTHERE!!! NOW!!! This is THESINGLEBEST truck food experience I’ve had to date! Kim(the lady with the red bandana) is SOOO sweet and welcoming! I’m one of those foodies that has to ask questions about everything and see everything before buying it. This usually puts most customer service peops into crank mode. But Kim just smirked at my quirkiness and was a PEACH, accommodating every request I made. When I ordered my first brownie she asked, «Side, corner or center?» I SQUEED! Customer service and options! And she remembered to give me a center piece for every brownie or bar I ordered! She caught on quickly to the way my taste buds operate and started making great suggestions for what I should consider purchasing… and she even gave me a sample of one brownie that I was on the fence about… after which I quickly jumped off the fence and squealed: «GIMME!!!» And get this!!! I got confused and thought she said she had a caramel espresso brownie… which she did not… but her eyes lit up and she got excited(in her subtle Kim way) and said she’d make a note to try that out for future batches!!! LOVEHER! When all was said and done, I walked away with one each of Kim’s super-sizeable Caramel Crème Sandwich Cookie, Cran Almond Crispy(I’ve NEVER seen anything like this before! It looks so healthy, you can trick yourself into thinking it’s good for you :-), Mexican Chocolate Brownie(nice and spicy without being overwhelmingly cloying), Espresso Brownie(Choco Ganache and espresso beans on top, y’all!!!), Peanut Butter Brownie(Choco Brownie with tons of PB goodness smeared on top!!!), and the Pecan Butterscotch Bar(looks smack yo’ mama good!!!). I thought the prices online were a little steep before I headed to the truck… but everything is so big you can easily make two portions outta the bars and crisps. They’re better than most gourmet baked goods I’ve bought for twice the price. GETIT!!! NOW!!! And don’t forget your super cute and kitsch punch card! But always check the website before heading to a location, just in case they had to pick a new spot or weren’t able to make it that day. NOMNOMNOM!!!
