This place is awesome. We order from here at least once a week. Their homemade sauces and nuggets are delicious. Cheese Louise and Southern Belle are our two go to types of nuggets paired with the OG Ranch and honey mustard. They are also open late and delivery!

Average place for a fast, fried bite. In my humble opinion, their fries are better than their nuggets! I usually get the Southern Belle(nuggets with BBQ sauce). I highly recommend eating them there, while they’re hot! They even have a little disclaimer posted that the nuggets are best eaten whilst hot. I’ve ordered via Seamless, but it’s always better going there in person. Staff is always pleasant, as others have mentioned, and there’s usually plenty of seating.

After a few drinks and bar hopping, we were starving and stumbled upon the Nugget Spot. We ordered various different kinds of nuggets. Cap n Crunk did not taste like captain crunch at all. The others we couldn’t tell what they were. They all tasted the same. We also had the sriracha fries. Meh, it was too spicy and didn’t have that much taste to it.

I would def return to the nugget spot. Our nuggets came out hot and fresh, and the guy at the counter seemed nice, and helped us with what to order. My one issue, hence the 3 stars is that I got a weird piece of chicken in one my nuggets– you know the creepy crunchy kind where you’re not sure it’s cooked. I didn’t find the nuggets to be extraordinary– but they were good enough to give them a second chance.

I’ve been meaning to go to The Nugget Spot for a while(since I’ve passed it so many times), and I’m glad I finally made a point to recently. The cashier was so friendly and helpful(an extremely rare treat!) — she gave some great recommendations as I was trying to decide between some of the options. I ended up going with the Cap’n Crunk nuggets with fries and the Shhh Sauce — the fries were wonderfully salty and crisp, and the nuggets while they didn’t taste much like Cap’n Crunch to me, were tasty and satisfying. She highly recommended the Evertythang nuggets, so I’m looking forward to going back and giving those a try. The brussel sprouts and biscuit also might be possibilities. All in all, The Nugget Spot is a solid choice for salty, fried goodness when you’re in need of a fix(of either or both).

Got a 4⁄20 to share with friends. I was looking forward to this all week. Maybe my expectations were too high but I found it to be ehhh… Polenta nugget: good but saltyish Everything bagel: Burt tasting. The jalapeño cream cheese was good. Bacon: best one in my opinion might have just been the maple syrup Siracha: too spicy for me The biscuit was good like standard fast food biscuit Fries were ehh and cold Cookie dough ball was good but probably not worth the calories Overall the nuggets were not that good, the sauces were. I did like that it was real chicken you could see. My fountain soda was also flat.

This is a good place to come if you’re in a hurry and just want some chicken in your mouth. Unilocal check in gets you some cookie trio. It wasn’t bad at all, just not a place I would frequent.

I heard alot of good things about The Nugget Spot and was super excited to try it. I came here on Sunday night, after a fun filled day of shopping After all the hype, this place is exactly as the name suggests. Fresh Chicken Nuggets. The menu is filled with Chicken Nugget varieties with different flavors. If some pieces are overfried, the flavor gets lost. That being said, these are among the better chicken nuggets that I have had. Most chicken nuggets are processed and are not flavorful I got the Sriracha Nuggets and Sriracha fries. The nuggets and fries were really good. The Sriracha flavoring sneaks up on you. I have to say that this isn’t really good for a take out spot. You have to eat this food fresh. If it stays in the bag it will get soggy.

Late night regulars. We have been doing a 1am run here most weekends for a year. Capt’Crunch 5⁄5 Buffalo 5⁄5 Get the shhhh! Sauce. And OG Ranch 5⁄5. Wasabi Mayo was awesome too but they stopped making it since we were the only people who ordered it! The disappointing thing about this place as it tends to be a hangout for some kids late at night. But if you are looking for a place to hit the spot after a big night and pizza is too cliché… You will not be disappointed!

Everything here is fresh and home made. It’s one of those great slow food places. The kids at the counter are very helpful and have excellent product knowledge. Plus it’s on a great, busy East village block that provides excellent people watching.

More like the nugget meh. Soggy overpriced nuggets lacking in flavor. Nothing else more to say. Avoid.

I’ve been here three times and each time I went the nuggets were served soggy and looked kind of sad and droopy in their paper tray. They’re five for $ 5 so I would expect a better nugget, but I even prefer Chick-fil-a’s nuggets to this. The BBQ nuggets are mildly spicy and I haven’t tried any of their fries or waffles yet. If you’re in the area walk the extra twenty feet and go to Baohaus instead.

Not the best place for vegheads. Should’ve known better not to get veg nuggets at a chicken nugget joint. I had the polenta nuggets, which were just okay. Wasn’t worth the price. The staff is super friendly though!

It went okay at first. I ate the food. Then came the wild ride after. I started getting stomach cramps that pained me through my 3 hour class. I silently screamed for mercy, beads of sweat dripping down my wet forehead. I went through one of the hardest times that night in my bathroom. But it didn’t end there. I woke up the next morning sweating, farting, my stomach begging to release the beast. This was the big one. i felt moby dick trying to find me from afar. I went to the bathroom for another agonizing 30 minutes. But it didn’t end there. In the afternoon at my workplace. My coworkers found me on the floor, crawling towards the bathroom yelling for my ancestral spirits to save me from my absolute doom. Save yourselves. It is too late for me.

I was pretty excited to try this place and saw some good reviews on it, but sadly it did not live up to my expectations. Ordered the Southern Belle nuggets with ranch, a side of fries, and lemonade for lunch. When I entered, I was the only one there so I got my food just 5 minutes after ordering to go. I could not wait to dig in; it smelled delicious as I was making my way back to work and I’m sure I made everyone I was on the elevator with jealous. I only realized back at my office that they forgot to give me ranch, which I was definitely not too happy about because I don’t like BBQ sauce(comes with the Southern Belle fries). That should’ve been okay though because I usually eat my nuggets plain anyway, but I would not want to eat these nuggets plain again. They were a bit too dry for me. The fries weren’t bad though. This was the first stop for our food adventure after the Taylor Swift concert and we were all quite excited to give this spot a try. The workers seemed very cool and laid back and the setting was very chill. We all checked in on Unilocal to receive a free nugget and I sampled the Po Po. The Po Po was practically a ball of salty polenta. Everyone else ordered meat nuggets and were content. It’s on the pricey side for the quality and quantity. The idea of a bunch of nuggets is great but they need to work on their recipe. There are no restrooms for customers. You can get water for free.

Tasty nuggets. $ 8.50 for 10 pieces. We had the Cap’n Crunk and Southern Belle. The Cap’n Crunk came with a butterscotch Crunk sauce that didn’t go well with nuggets. I know the Cap’n Crunk nuggets are a little on the sweet side but yuck, the sauce was cupcake sweet and overpowered the nuggets. The Southern Belle was well-seasoned and had a little kick to it, especially with the BBQ sauce. The staff are friendly and quite surprised to hear there was a Unilocal check-in offer for 1 free tasting nugget. It takes a while to cook the nuggets but I’m glad we sampled the Popo(vegan) nugget first before my vegetarian friend ordered it because it was incredibly bland! I also tried their cole slaw and it’s alright.

I wanted to give The Nugget Spot a better rating because the two guys manning the booth at Broadway Bites were so friendly and cheerful(even on a lousy, rainy day), but in the end I was left feeling a little underwhelmed by the food. I ordered 10 nuggets for $ 10 which I thought was a bit pricey, but I hoped the flavors would live up to the price. I went with the«Southern Belle» chicken nuggets which were good but not great. My feeling is that when you pay $ 1 per nugget they better all be winners, and that wasn’t the case. For example, while for the most part the nuggets were large and meaty, one or two snuck in there that were, for lack of a better term, the runts of the litter. Additionally, while most were hot and tender, there were a couple that were lukewarm and had dried out a bit. The nuggets themselves were pretty tasty and the ranch dipping sauce was yummy, but overall it was a mediocre meal. I’ve looked at the restaurant’s menu and some of the options are super creative and intriguing so I’ll go back and give them one more try, but I’ll be looking for more consistency next time around.

We had these guys cater our company weekly lunch this week. They arrived with a ton of sauces, several types of chicken plus the polenta bites, as well as a salad and brussel sprouts. the salad was a salad — field greens with underripe tomatoes and a dijon vinaigrette. The brussel sprouts were good — quartered and tender — a few were underdone to my taste, but non were super mushy, so that was a plus. There were some roasted carrot slivers tossed in, which was a great color contrast. The regular nuggets, the polenta bites, and the«everything bagel» bites were all still pretty crispy and delicious — for being idle in a «warm box» for the trip to our office. The buffalo nuggets were super soggy from the sauce, but still delicious as well. The sauces were BBQ, ranch, bleu cheese, honey mustard, hot sauce, and jalepeno cream cheese. As weird as it sounds, the jalepeno cream cheese was AMAZING on all of them… and all the other sauces were equally delicious. I definitely would recommend this place — perhaps not delivery because they dont seem to stay as crispy as I would have preferred.

Here’s a flow chart for you: Q1) Are you high? IFYES: Go to The Nugget Spot IFNO: Move onto Q2 Q2) Do you really hate bones that much? IFYES: Go to The Nugget Spot IFNO: Go to an actual fried chicken place That about sums it up. This place is a stoner’s/NYU student’s/NYU stoner’s paradise. They don’t shy away from the stoner culture, with t-shirts that just say«NUGS» on them. And a customer dollar bill on the wall that says they serve the«DANKESTNUGS». That was to be determined. I tried the Southern Belle(which is their most popular) and the Cap’n Crunk. I did one of them as a Lunch Time combo(which includes a side and a fountain soda). I wanted the Hustle Sprouts(take a guess as to what they are) but there was an extra charge of about $ 3. They were actually the best part of the meal. The Brussels sprouts actually took longer than the two orders of chicken, so my chicken was just sitting on the counter for a good couple of minutes while I watched helplessly. Lame. The Southern Belle and Cap’n Crunk were actually pretty similar in taste. The cereal one was just slightly more crunchy. The BBQ sauce that came with the Southern Belle was good. But when I ordered the Cap’n Crunk, I asked the guy at the counter what he recommends it with, and he gave me this terrible nacho cheese sauce. Upon looking at the menu, they actually recommend the Crunk sauce. No idea what that is, but I kinda wish I had that instead. Also, as an FYI, the fountain soda is just in a regular plastic cup. Which I guess is good if you’re eating two people’s worth of chicken. At the end of the day, I spent $ 18 on chicken nuggets. Probably shouldn’t have.
