Ran all over trying to find the Mud truck shop, only to get sub par service, OK ice coffee and two bags of curiously disappointing coffee. The most curious thing about the store is the fact it’s the year 2015, they are located in Manhatten and they don’t except debit cards. .wtf.

This tuck has really solid, excellent coffer overall. They are super fast, especially when there’s a line, which is pretty much always! The barista is kinda grumpy once in a while, but their art over-rides it! What is especially amazing is their mocha and the chai latte, which is absolutely amazing. I haven’t been there in the summer, but I look forward to trying the iced coffee.

I had never tasted coffee from the mudtruck but had spotted it around the city many times and always heard great things. I attended an event yesterday where the mudtruck was serving up complimentary drinks. Since it was quite hot outside, I ordered an iced coffee with sugar and soy milk. The coffee was strong and coupled with the soy milk and sugar, it was a yummy, creamy drink. I ordered another one before the event was over. I would gladly purchase more libations from the mud truck.

Great coffee, the Mudtruck is a true pioneer in the genre. However, the barista was a rude mista, so 3 stars. Be nice to the customers man, they’re kinda important. Will always be back and I’m sure the star level will raise, the java is just too good.

Great coffee generally but their Chai Latte in particular is absolutely to die for! Also, it’ll always have a special place in my heart for being the only place serving coffee in the area during Sandy.

I’m not sure if my taste buds were out of whack today, but the Mudtruck didn’t live up to its 4-star reputation. DRINKS/FOOD: {-} Iced Latte — definitely not up to par to other 4-star coffee joints in the city. It’s tasteless and doesn’t feel like velvet going down your throat. Tastes pretty similar to an iced latte you’d get at Starbucks to be honest. {-} Chocolate chip cookie — this flakey, dry, and brittle thing should not be called a cookie. I will definitely go back again and give it another chance, but first try = no bueno :(

I see Starbies but better I see Mudtruck. We do not have many food trucks where we live except Sysco ones but that is another story, and they don’t count. ;))) so, who am I to say no to the prospect of a mudslinger selling his creations out of a truck the color of a winter sunset in Delhi? Not I… So I bellied up to the window and ordered a Soy Latte and The L ordered a Soy Chai Latte. Pet peeve… Being charged extra for soy. Really? Really. Just for the two it was just under $ 11. Would not have complained if they were the best drinks ever but they were not. They were AOK and help bide away the time as we waited to get into Ippudo. ;))) I don’t think we ordered the wrong thing as those drinks are pretty standard but I was expecting coffee nirvana in that bright orange cup and just got a made to order pedestrian joe. I was glad to have an independent alternative to Starbucks and their corporate coffee but was not WOWED. That’s ok though. They will still do well and it was just a cup of coffee. On to the next. :)))

Mud coffee. Best caffeine rush in the city. Grab it at Astor Place and yawns stop there. Always quick, always good. I definitely miss this orange treasure!

A good iced coffee with a bit of soymilk often tastes like chocolate milk. Mudtruck’s iced beverage tastes like a chocolate shake with a punch in the middle. Yes that’s spells *delicious* to the coffee lovers out there. While I was waiting for mine drink to come up I noticed the tip jar was one of these stylish Mud mugs. I asked if they had any, and sure enough they did. For a cool $ 15 I grabbed one of the most stylish coffeehouse mugs in NYC. awesome!

I’ve never been to the E. Village to go to the Mud Truck. This morning the Mud Truck happened to be in front of my company’s building in midtown offering free breakfast for all the employees. I had a small vanilla iced coffee with milk & Splenda. I, also, ordered a croissant. The coffee was AMAZING! The croissant was okay… just your regular buttery and delicious croissant. The staff in the truck was friendly, the coffee was to die for, which means I will definitely be stalking the MUD Truck if I am ever in the E. Village and looking for some good iced coffee.

Decent coffee or espresso drinks and the location on Astor Place makes it very convenient. I have found grounds at the bottom of my cup so I watch out for that. My friend was a little put off by the grounds in his drink and thought«Mud» was an appropriate name.

This is the first time I see. MUDMOCHA!!! :D Regular coffee and chocolate… After dinner at Astor Pl… Got a cup of coffee here… It’s only 2 bucks… Their chocolate tasted a little too sweet. but not too strong. Blended well with the regular coffee. It took away the coffee taste tho… Maybe I will try their regular coffee next time…

Decided to finally stop by on a cold November day to get something to warm me up. I don’t know what I was expecting… maybe something to blow me out of the water? Not too sure, but I know i didn’t get that OMGGIVEMEMORE feeling. Maybe it’s because i’m not a die hard coffee drinker, but the mint moccahino and the regular«mud» coffeee was just… coffee… It’s convenient, a little pricey for the specialty drinks, but unfortunately, it will not be my go to truck to quench my thirst.

Like your coffee strong? Welp, The Mudtruckis your guy then, and can brew/make just about anything. I always buy a bag of ground coffee here, and they kindly give you a free drip coffee with purchase! I usually find him parked outside the subway on Astor place… across the street from Starbucks. Ironic.

I see you Orange Truck… I am not a big coffee drinker, but when I am in the mood for a warm cup of Joe, The Mudtruck is one of my favorite places to visit. The staff here are super friendly. I appreciate that their coffee isn’t bitter, yet strong. At around $ 1.50 for a regular, it gets the job done. You will get your coffee fix in a bright orange cup sold from a bright orange truck. If you bring your own mug, you can get a discount: D

I’ve been past this truck a number of times, but was finally in the mood for a coffee today. The coffee is phenominal. Not too bitter, not too sweet. The aroma of the truck itself is intoxicating. I really enjoyed my cup, and will definitely try it again.

CHARLIESHEENISBATSH*T CRAZY!!! But his influence is everywhere! Special of the day on the Mud Truck chalk board — «TIGERBLOODINFUSION! WINNING!» They also have a really decent hot mocha. Add just a little milk and it’s a winner! Nice after lunch drink. Now, where can I find some goddesses?
