The Lime Bar and Lounge

Since Lime appeared like a nice establishment from the outside I decided to walk in for a drink with my boyfriend. When we walked in, it was dead. There was only one man sitting at the bar. We were awkwardly greeted by stares from the bouncers and bartenders, no hi welcome, how are you. The vibe was very awkward and on top of it there was no music, no life to the place at all! They only had 1 tv at the bar and barely any seats for customers, no wonder it’s empty. And to top it off the drinks were crazy expensive. We asked about drink specials or happy hours, but they had none. $ 12 drinks and shots are ridiculous for a shitty spot like that on Jamaica ave. Come on now! Save your time, save your money. This place isn’t worth it.

Great happy hour deals. When I am eating here for lunch or dinner I always order the Greek salad. Super big portion with delicious dressing. The fried pita that accompanies the salad is a nice touch. There is a ton of feta included as well. Great spot for a summer patio lunch.

I wasn’t sure about coming at first not reading any recent reviews but the DJ was good. There was a good group of folks out celebrating a birthday and my drink wasn’t weak! Parking was no issue — arrived in front of the place around 1100PM. No fee to get in either.

Great bar & outstanding service. Inside has a sleek and modern ambiance with upscale décor. Drinks are always made just the way I ask for it. Really good management and attentive bartenders. Definitely my weekend hangout spot. There is something for everyone here with the music, soca, reggae, hiphop, pop, dance etc etc etc!

Me and my friend decide to check this bar out since it had good reviews quick tip if the owner doesn’t know you most likely someone will start a fight with you and you will get kick out since no ones knows you sadly the owner has favoritism these aren’t how bars should be run but I guess he has no experience to resume if you’re decent looking do not go there because someone will pick a fight with you and you will get kick out poor management poor drinks the dj was decent never will go back
