While shopping in Soho, we caught sight of this food truck on Broadway. Starving, we decided to get the«Ham, Swiss, and Herbs» crêpe. It was decent. The ham is the cubed ham pieces you can find in any supermarket, not even sliced or cured. The cheese is lacking(definitely tell them to be heavy on the cheese). And the crêpe itself was slightly burnt. Not the best experience… Hilariously enough, the guy closed down after making our crêpe and the crêpe of the person behind us. Was that too much business for him to handle I wonder? Hrm.

I had the Iberian, which made for a nice flavor combination, but the crêpe itself is lacking — doesn’t have that crisp flakiness I look for. This one was flopping over in a sad and messy sort of way which is probably why they serve it in a basket.

*the frenchman(swiss, shallots, tomatoes and goat cheese; yum! The crêpe batter made for a wonderful crêpe, super fluffy and light and held all the wet ingredients together inside. This combo was super simple yet flavorful, goat cheese wasn’t too overpowering. Not too salty just wish there was a little more pepper, otherwise it was very good) *the New Yorker(beer stewed chicken, parmesan, swiss and greens; the chicken was so on point!!! super tender and moist, it honestly could have gone well with any carb be it rice, potatoes, bread. they packed quite a bit of meat inside which made this crêpe quite hefty but totally worth your money) This crêpe truck is fantastic! They have a smaller menu of both savory and sweet crepes. I think by having this smaller selection, they have fresher ingredients and can perfect these items. Everything is made to order, so you’re going to have to wait patiently for the one guy in the truck to make it but it’s worth it!!!

My kid loves crepes and they served her up a nice, fresh crêpe with strawberries, bananas and whipped cream. Top notch!

I first noticed this truck because the driver was being threatened by some guy on the street. I’m not sure what it was all about, but the driver handled it well… so I got myself a crêpe(I definitely didn’t just make an excuse to stuff my face). The«New Yorker» was full of beer-stewed chicken, Swiss Cheese, Tomato, Greens & Shallots. I’m not sure what about that screams«New York,» but it was pretty tasty. Nothing mind-blowing, but a sizable lunch for $ 8, and I housed it before we even got downtown in our cab so I could eat another lunch without anyone judging me. I’d do it again.

The truck itself is super cute, and the server was very very friendly and helpful. But I have to say, the crêpe tastes kind of mediocre, and doesn’t look as pretty as I was hoping for… (I got the spicy cinnamon apple one… but u know what, I will give it another try!)

This one was located right off 50th on March 11. Was quick especially during a lunch time rush.

What a pleasure to discover this gem of a food truck! I got their Norwegian Crêpe. I loved how they were generous with the size of the crêpe and the filling inside. It kept me full until dinnertime. I could also see a lot of attention to detail in the crêpe creation. The crêpe itself had bits of dill in it and was made of a slightly sour batter. That made perfect sense for the Norwegian crêpe since it is filled with smoked salmon. Other flavorful items in the crêpe: slightly sweet melted swiss cheese, ricotta cheese, tomato chunks, spicy arugula, and a sprinkling of herbs(I noticed dill and fennel seeds). All this was $ 7. Given that the food truck is located in a very busy business area, I recommend going there after 1:30 pm. I still had to wait a good 10 minutes for my crêpe even when it wasn’t busy.

Dear Crepes Truck, You have a new follower. I loved my Frenchman crêpe with its goat cheese goodness. It was so good I practically ate the whole thing walking back to work. There is something different about the crêpe batter that I can’t put my finger on but it’s a good different. Thanks for making my lunch that much better.

I saw the Crepes Truck out one day but of course didn’t have any cash on me. From then on I’ve been following it on Twitter hoping that it would be near my job one of these days. Then, when I took a half day and was grabbing a bite before heading home, there it was. In all its crepey goodness. And I had cash on me. They seem to specialize more in the savory crepes, the ones that could be actual meals, but they do have dessert ones. I got the nutella and banana and I have to say although it was good, I should have gone with the srawberry one. There’s something about the nutella and bananas that makes it taste… as if it’s lacking taste. If that makes any sense. There’s no sugar or sweetness to it. Sort of a bland taste? I don’t fault the crepes truck for this though, I’m pretty certain it’s the nutella itself. I’ll be sure to stop for the strawberry crêpe the next time I see it out and about.

Changed hands recently. Still tasty, although somewhat salty. Interesting selection, although not very extensive — four or five visits and there is nothing new to try…

Just had the Italian sausage specialty crêpe with bell peppers and swiss cheese. It was amazing – gooey cheese and meaty meat, like a ultra crêpe-crust pizza. It is what every carnivorous Unilocaler wants — a deluxe pizza in crêpe form!

I’ve been following this truck on Twitter for months, but never had the chance to ever order from them cause of my shitty class/work schedule. Now that classes are over, I ventured out to 50th and 6th where they were parked. There was one guy in there(QT!) and he made me the raspberry jam sweet crêpe. The others that were listed contained stuff that I’m allergic to so I just stuck with a simple, easy one. Although, the crêpe wasn’t that flavorful… I still love the fact that there’s a crêpe truck close to work. I’ll be going back to try the other ones on the menu. Oh and it’s so cheap! Love it.

The Crepes Truck( ) has the distinction of being the cheapest crepes I’ve found so far! Only $ 5 for this perfectly made ham, swiss and herbs crêpe, with a healthy-looking wheat crêpe AND thyme that you could actually taste. Also, the guys are super nice. I’m looking forward to returning for a sweet crêpe next time!

I live in Brooklyn. And I took today the L train to Manhattan, a 30 min ride, JUST to get these amazing crepes. Fresh, made in your eyes, cheap, and a friendly service. Love them. Excellent for brunch on Sundays(they are usually at Bedford Av.). You definitely need to get one!

The nutella and banana cake was divine! Wanted to try a savory crêpe but this one was just too good to pass up! Very friendly, knowledgeable service. Cant wait to go back and try the savory chicken crêpe!

Visited the truck again after being foiled by two other trucks who were closed or gone by the time I got to their locations(wah wahhh). I don’t understand why there is never a line for the crepes? Anyway, I needed something hearty for lunch, and got the New Yorker crêpe — a delicious crêpe filled with Parmesan, chicken, capers, carmelized onions, peppers and thyme. Mmmmm mmm. Made quickly, and the mouth watering smells coming from the truck as I waited made me hungry for my meal even more than I already was.

Holy crêpe! Another food truck to join the realm of NYC mobile eateries. Though fairly new in town, The Crepes Truck is quickly rising to the rank of cult status. Truly a great stop if you have a crêpe craving. The truck cooks up a small menu of both savory($ 7) and sweet crepes(approx $ 3.50). They’re prepared quickly right before your eyes. I’ve only had the sweet crepes but the savory ones sound quite divine: New Yorker — Chicken, Parmesan, Swiss, Peppers, Onions, Tahini Gravy Norweigan — Smoked salmon, salad, goat cheese?, swiss Californian — Swiss, Brie, Pear, Walnuts Frenchman — Swiss, goat, tomato, shallots Follow them on Twitter if you’d like to know when they’ll be in your hood. I love it when I find out that they’re in Williamsburg, I feel like a big kid! It’s kinda like that nostalgic feeling chasing after your local ice cream truck while their catchy signature tune is on rotate every 20 seconds enticing you to the source.

Delicious crepes! I passed by the truck on different days in the Flatiron District and in Williamsburg. –The nutella & banana crêpe was only $ 3.50. The nutella crêpe I believe is $ 3. –Nice selection of both sweet and savory crepes. –Fast, fresh, & friendly service. –My only complaint: they could have put a bit more banana in it. Overall, very good!
