This place might be great if you apartment windows aren’t over the 7th avenue. But an apartment on the third floor as mine over the avenue is just like sleeping directly on the street. It is so noisy I cannot sleep. And I used to live on 36th street, Murray hill, one of the noisiest street other there!
Plus I would add that the closet in the kitchen are stinky, the curtains aren’t opaque and the TV sometimes just stops working.

I moved into The Chelsea in August of 2011 with my boyfriend and we loved it here. The staff was very helpful (we worked with Adrian) and always responded quickly to requests. The apartment we were in was a little small for the price but the kitchen and bathroom made up or it. The kitchen had gorgeous appliances and the entire place was remodeled. We had to leave to move to California, but if not we would have stayed here. The location is very central as well. One block to the train, and right across from Whole Foods. I highly recommend this building!
