Organized a bachelorette party here recently and had such a fantastic time. Definitely helped to get a little tipsy ahead of time. The hour flys by with all the instruction. Would maybe do the longer session if I did it again so we could actually dance a bit more than we got to.

I recently hosted my twin sister’s bachelorette party and Rica was our instructor. The facility was clean and able to accommodate my party of 14 perfectly. I was able to bring in food and champagne for my guests.
Now to our amazing dance instructor… Rica…she is super talented and was patient with teaching our group each routine. She is easy going and worked diligently to ensure each person received personal attention to learn steps.
This place is intimate and very ideal for a bachelorette party of approximately 20 girls.
The one thing I requested in my online reservation was a twerk lesson but I was having too much fun to remind Rica about this request.

I organized a friend’s bachelorette pole dancing class at Shockra. It was the most affordable pole dancing class I could find in NYC (~$ 30 per person for one hour). Our instructor was Amanda, who was witty and really broke down the moves well. The studio itself is bit small and dingy. There are no changing rooms, and barely any space to hang out and wait (which affected us since we got there early, and another class was going on while we were waiting). Overall though I’d say we got what we paid for and the group was happy with the experience.

I highly recommend SHOCKra! I organized a party for my friends Bachelorette last summer and we had such a great time that I recently went back with a group of girls for a girls night out. Everyone at the studio is so accommodating and making the arrangements were such a breeze. Both of my experiences were awesome! We took both classes with Amanda who is amazing! She is so much fun and made the experience such a great one. All of the girls had such a blast, we can’t wait to take another class!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. I booked a bachelorette party here because we were looking for something different and fun. Maine was our instructor and she was THE ABSOLUTE BEST. We cant describe how amazing our experience was. We still talk about it today and are planning on doing another one soon.

This is my second time arranging a pole party at shockra. The first was a bacholorette party for my best friend and the second «just because» with my co-​workers. Both experiences were awesome. The instructors had different styles, but both did a great job making the experience comfortable and fun. Highly recommend!

Great experience! Had so much fun, especially with Maine as our pole dance instructor. She was very helpful, which was needed because pole dancing is not easy. The bachelorette loved it and I would recommend it to anyone for a bachelorette party or any party. The people there are very nice and friendly and work with you.

Minila was a wonderful, energetic and sweet Bollywood instructor! We came for a bachelorette party and she was conscious of each person’s level of experience and made it a great time for everyone. The staff at «The Best Bachelorette Party» were equally fantastic to work with. It was so easy to organize and everyone was incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and different experience in NYC.
