This is one of my favorite restaurants in Spanish Harlem. They seem to use very fresh produce and the food is always delicious and delivered quickly. Each dish is unique and distinct. My favorites are the Mango Salad, the Massaman Roti appetizer, the Scallion Pancake(which is actually not a pancake, but it is delicious) and the Pad See-Ew!

The food is great. The satay tastes really great. It comes with two type of sauce. Very authentic. I will definitely come back again.

Staff was nice. Food was meh at best. Not a dine-in location either. Literally nowhere to eat. If you’re desperate for Thai, maybe

I order from here a lot… i’m single and sometimes I don’t want to do anything as soon as i get home. Is that wrong? Well, anyways. so here i am, fresh off the boat from Cali and I have no idea where the eff i am. Somewhere in spanish harlem… So Unilocaled tracked this place down and i’m now hooked. So i started a thing of not eating meat… earth and climate… ethical reasons… and this shop always comesssss thruuuuuu with the NONMEATBOWLZZZZ. Let me tell you what… I order from here a lot…

Finally! A place that truly delivers spicy food when you ask for«really spicy». I have a high tolerance for pepper, so I usually have to ask for extra even after I am delivered a «spicy» meal. There was no such need here. I ordered a Beef Drunken Noodle and while it was not the best Thai I have ever had(I eat a lot of thai), the spice was so good that I ordered it for lunch the next day too. The delivery is also quick and they delivered to me very close to their closing time, so that is such a plus. WARNING: do not go here expecting to sit down and eat. It is a little hole in the wall place with not even much standing room. However, if you are looking for a decent takeout spot, this is it!

I got spring rolls because everything on menu seems a bit overpriced for east Harlem. The vegetable spring were not that good. I found a hair one of the spring rolls. DISGUSTING! I’m glad they take credit cards compare to the other places in this area. But they take a long time just to get food Don’t get the spring rolls!

I ordered shrimp basil fried rice last night and was severely ill. I am usually a lover of spicy foods but this was so over the top I spent my evening on the bathroom floor feeling like a hole was being burned through my stomach. The pain was so severe I frankly did not know what to do. This is the second time I have felt ill after eating here. Last time I ordered the shrimp drunken noodles and was in pain, but not as severe at this last time. It’s unfortunate because the food is good, but not at the expense of food poisoning.

So just the facts. The food is often great. Especially the classics like Thai spring rolls, curry puffs, Drunk Man Noodle, Tom Yum Soup. They are generous with the proteins all the veggies are impeccably sliced. They also get the heat levels of heat correctly. Basic is flavorful without being spicy. Medium has a little heat. Spicy is pretty caustic. The Red Curry Noodle soup at $ 10 just isn’t worth it to me as the curry sauce is watery and the are about 5 pieces of string bean and one half moon of eggplant along with whatever protein. I’d like to see some carrots and other typical red curry veggies and a less watery broth. The stars begin to fall of when it comes to anything experimental. Tom Kha Soup & Num Khon Soup — spicy coconut milk based soups with too much funk. You get lost in the fish sauce and the overly sweet richness of the broth. They used to have a Tom Nuer Soup which they took off the menu — maybe. It was a black murky mess of a soup with huge dry hunks of cubed beef. Bah BLACK soup?!? I get shivers just thinking about it!!! - Larb Gai(minced chicken in lettuce wraps) is soooo dry and fishy tasting with too much onion. Gross. The Duck salad comes with toasted rice that will break the enamel on your teeth. And, yup, they are rude. I don’t think they mean to be though. Maybe it is the closet like quarters. Or, maybe just different social customs. Like in my family we don’t know how to whisper below volume 30. It’s just that with 10 aunts, three uncles and 120 cousins, just on my mom’s side you need to speak up to be heard. Bottomline — Thai Soup is pretty great if you stick to the basics and don’t mind a little aggression with your takeout.

When I moved to Harlem 6 months ago, I ordered here twice a week religiously. Their drunken noodle puts all others to shame. The past few months though the inconsistency has been enough to kill my addiction. You can order on a Monday and it be excellent and then 2 days later, the food is inedible. Every time I want to order, I hold back in fear of mediocre food. Their lunch special is amazing. Delivery is quick and they’re in a convenient location. I probably won’t be ordering here anymore unless I’m too hungover to notice that my meal is lacking in quality.

Awesome Thai food. I’ve done take out a few times. So good! Lunch special comes with an appetizer for $ 10!!! I can usually make two meals out of it.

it was my first time ordering here today. I ordered the basil friend rice with shrimp and the rice was okay it could have had more basil and also the shrimp was very soft and not tasteful the flavor of the rice was good to me a little spicy but not to overwhelming. when I was told for the lunch special a appetizer I expected a bigger portion. I was one small spring roll in a small box that was soggy and the filling wasn’t good at all. I would order again but just no meat. the service was good when I went to pick up my food

It’s always good. Nothing else to complain. Great spot in our neighborhood. We do serve Lunch special w. Free appetizer every weekdays(potions are small than regular) also has seats to sit but no table. They always have a recommendation about thai foods if u are new. Great spot to stop by.

I’ve ordered from here multiple times, and every dish is fine but never good. It’s seasoned, but it’s not particularly flavorful. The curry is runny and doesn’t stick to the rice. It worsened today because today, I found a tangle of hair in my noodles. I don’t think even Unilocal coupons will convince me to order from here again.

I had mango salad(sweet/sour/spicy), Tom kha Taley soup and crab meat fried rice witch is so delicious!!! Trust me, it’s very difficult to find a good«crab meat» fried rice, I gave this place a shot and«BANG!!» I got hit on it immediately!!! Definitely come back!!! This place has such a BIG taste even though the place itself is very very small!!!

Rude order takers never understand any questions pay for extras and they give you less of your originally ordered protein, portion size changes often will not be ordering from them again. Spoke to the owner/manager once he was extremely nasty and rude too. Shame though really great food and quick delivery my husband and I have spent a lot of money ordering from them but we feel foolish now because they are never nice on the phone or if there is a problem with an order they get extremely defensive and rude

pad thai is horribly dry and inedible. Drunk man noodle is extremely spicy. And I like spice but this was way way too much. Still willing to give it a chance though due to other good reviews but only because there aren’t many other thai options in the area

Great little gem. Tried their Jerd Noodle Soup. Amazingly flavourful and I am cutting this short so I can eat it

While this review is based on take out, I couldn’t imagine more than 3 – 4 people eating within the restaurant. It is tiny so be prepared that you can’t go with a larger group. The food was really delicious. We ordered the red curry noodle soup which is one of the things I order whenever I see a Thai place offers a noodle soup and this one was spot on. The veggies and tofu were cooked really nicely, my only complaint was there was hardly any broth — which is the whole point of the soup. Skip the spring rolls though, they tasted like frozen rolls you’d get at a crappy neighborhood Chinese spot.

This. Place. Is. Awesome!!! It’s so rare to have a really good and not too pricey place in this neighborhood but now we finally have one(and it’s not Mexican). Went in on my way home for takeout which was a good call because there are only a couple of stools in the front; good if you’re eating lunch and just need a place to sit but you can’t come for a sit down dinner. We went with the pad Thai, pad see ew, and calamari. While the food was being prepped I chatted with the girl taking orders who is ACTUALLY Thai(so she knows what she’s doing) and was offered some Thai coffee, which is basically coffee, sugar, and cream. DELICIOUS. GETIT. The food was awesome– right up to par with food I’ve had in Thailand and the better places in Manhattan. Between that and the friendliness of the people there, we’ll definitely be back for more.
