This is an amazing place to buy tea. It’s convent, easy and has a wide selection to pick from. Unfortunately after getting 2oz of chocolate chai today I was informed that they will be closing on February 21st. Apparently Starbucks no longer deems this location profitable. They will instead convert this store into another Starbucks. Whoop de do like we need another one. This is definitely a sad day on top of a shitty year.

I came here to get some tea to brew at my desk at work after my boyfriend got me the little tea Brewer for Christmas and I fell in love with it. When I walked into the store I immediately felt welcome. The store was warm, intimate, and well organized. I wanted to try some new kinds of tea, but I had never bought anything from Teavana before and I wasn’t sure how it worked. There was a sales associate named Nicole who was extremely helpful and made great recommendations. I bought almost every tea she recommended! I ended up walking out with $ 50 worth of new tea and accessories for work. Thank you Teavana!

Tea is good. Customer service HORRIBLE. My friends and I were waiting for our drinks to be ready when another employee comes up to us and says that the seats are only for customers. Why not ask first if we are waiting for drinks to begin with? Not to mention her tone of voice, so disappointed in Teavana for having people like that represent them. Hopefully they hire someone better asap.

Be strikingly rude to me once, shame on you. Be rude to me twice, shame on me. I never should have returned. I won’t go into the treatment I received by the manager(or at least that is what she said she was) at this place TWICE.(all other workers who I talked with that day were super nice and helpful, and she yelled at one. I know the pain of working for a horrible boss. You deserve much better kid). Quality wise on first visit, my tea was filled to the brim with ice and pretty tasteless. This is not the quality Teavana tea of 10 years ago I had in Chicago. This last time I walked out after having an issue with my order, card and being spoken to like a piece of trash. Life’s too short to treat people like crap and let yourself be treated like it. Sayanora.

I was in the area meeting with a client and the place she chose was so0o0o small, no way could I have a business meeting there and the Starbucks in the area was so0o0o loud and crowded big surprise there, also there was 1 huge table strange. This place was a happy surprise. The service was good. I purchased the blackberry mojito lemonade sweeten, which was good. What I loved the most was the ambiance, décor and ability to sit and talk in a quiet place. This is definitely my go-to business meeting place or even a casual 1st date.

A very charming place that is pretty much an exact replica of any Starbucks, but replaces coffee with tea. Tea selection is amazing and they brew a pretty good cup. The service is polite and attentive. One star off for tables and benches that were not tended.

I love teavana teas, the quality is superb with friendly staffs. I bought Gyokuro Imperial Green Tea, Monkey Picked Oolong Tea and some other fruity teas. I admit the price is expensive, but with 2 oz of tea I can make more than 5 times with 3 or 4 times steeping. It is worthed for tea lovers, who love high quality of tea.

My bf and I were killing time before our brunch reservation called so we decided to duck into this Teavana around the corner. I’ve been in this area a lot but never ventured inside this Teavana location cause I normally avoid Teavanas unless they are having a significant sale. Overpriced flavored teas at an overrated chain store aren’t my thing. I must say, however, that this one of the nicest Teavanas I’ve ever been to! Plenty of seating, a lovely layout that separated the seating area from the tea selection from the food bar, free Wi-Fi, and outlets! Plus this place doesn’t get crowded! Basically, this is a high class Starbucks with tea instead of coffee. The food is only ok. Overpriced and all strangely Asian fusion-esque. Still, I’d pay for a few minutes of respite in a nice tea shop any day so I like to pretend that half the money I spend on their food is being spent on the atmosphere and free Wi-Fi. If you’re thinking of grabbing a bite here, I recommend the hoison pork buns(and possibly the bowl if it tastes relatively the same) — tiny pillowy buns with a few pieces of relatively tender pork, lettuce, basil, cilantro, and sprinkled with sesame seeds. My only qualm is that the portion sizes were tiny. Each bun barely constituted a bite. Tea variety and quality: 3⁄5 — Teavana offers variety for sure but quality is questionable. Then again, I’m a tea purist and flavored teas aren’t my thing. With the exception of their infamous samurai chai mate/white ayurvedic chai blend, nothing else in Teavana’s collection really makes me go «wow!» Service: 4⁄5 — Friendly and quick. Atmosphere: 5⁄5 — Very relaxing and spacious tea café. Overall: 4⁄5 — great

First time inside one of these. If you’re studying or even chatting with a friend it has a nice atmosphere, not super loud like Starbucks, but I do wish there were more plug outlets.

I am a coffee drinker, but am still partial to Teavana. It’s a great neighborhood place to relax and do work. It’s much less crowded than a Starbuck’s would be. If you’re coming to do work, they have lots of outlets, and fast internet. I come for the environment, but also have enjoyed their tea and food options. For tea, I keep it simple with unsweetened iced green tea. It’s quite good. And all of their drinks are only 99 cents for a refill until you leave. Amazing! I’ve also tried their frittata with ham, cheese, and veggies. It was flaky, warm, and held me over until dinner. The only minor negative is that it smells sickeningly sweet upon arrival. It’s likely their drink sweetener. Beyond that though, this is a great place to go.

I come here as a nice study spot alternative to starbucks since it’s pretty spacious and also serves food. Note, similar to starbucks(probably affiliated/owned), they accept the Starbucks cards/app and also have free wifi. If only they had more plugs!

1. This place has around 20 seats, but it’s not crowded. And there is wifi! 2. You can always ask that your tea be not sweetened. So it’s a great place to get some work down and drink the tea of your choice. 3. There is a DAVIDsTEA across the street, but they don’t have this many seats. 4. Always some free samples of tea in the store!

Looking for a place to rest your feet after shopping? Not planning to spend a fortune on diabetes-inducing drinks? Want to work on that paper in a spot with stable wifi? This is the place for you!!! Tea refills are $ 1.09 — and I would highly recommend the Cucumber Feta Salmon + Mandarin Hoisin Pork buns. You can order 3 buns for $ 9. They have a good playlist here that will not distract you from writing that thesis! I like that the staff is efficient and calm– it is not a loud and boisterous environment. Teavana is a true gem!

Why be stress, just visit Teavana and purchase their finest tea. Look, for almost two years I have been a dedicated coffee drinker, until my visit to PressTea in 14th Street. That visit have my mind blown away. I needed to give up on coffee and focus in tea drinking. Do you know tea stop fights? I guess is the herb. So where to begin? I would say visit Teavana. Teavana have all types of blends that focus in so many things, such as «weight to go» or «youthberry». Yes, I have mentioned just two, but their list are quite lengthy. If you looking to lose weight you would automatically say, ‘drink green tea’, but Teavana have«weight to go» that have right stuff in your cup. It assist many of their clients in losing water weight. The shocking thing is that weight trainers drink Weight to Go also. While writing this review I am sipping on some and it taste great and I didn’t add any sugar. Yummy! Youthberry focus just that, keep you from aging. Now if you 72 years old, the tea will not stop the wrinkles, but your energy will be mind blowing. So throw that Viagra away, take a sip and you will be good to go. Tell your mate, «I want 12 rounds! Papi(or Mami)» … Anyway, their teas focus on certain things, so very important to talk to your rep and questions. Two the reps that assisted me with my purchases are: Colin Lovvorn and Chris Trano These guys shows proper customer service with a great attitude. They do not hesitate to answer any questions you may have. Colin will walk you through the entire store and suggest great purchases, including current promotion. After purchasing the item(s) he will demonstrate how to use the product correctly. He also provided a contact number and time he is available if I needed more assistance. Thank you, Colin! Now Chris, I call this gentleman the chemist aka the cookbook aka mr food network, because he will educate you how to prepare fantastic tea correctly. He will pull out all the stuff needed to make that special tea and gives you a sample. After his demonstration is not surprising that you will purchase the product. Chris, you need create a blog or something, because you are good on what you do. The place is well lit with many interesting things to purchase. While walking through out the store, grab a sample and sip away, because you will be here a while. Recommendation: come to this spot if you desire to only drink tea and purchase tea to go. Do not become shy, ask, purchase and drink away. If you desire to drink and eat, visit the location below: 84th& Madison and 63rd&3rd

What I’ve had: Citrus Lavender Iced Tea Would I come back?: Yes Story: Love this whole tea bar concept and that you can use your Starbucks card here! The concept must be working because i saw another one opened up further down in the 50’s on the east side. This iced tea was delicious and i love the idea of being able to say lets go grab a cup of tea instead of the typical ‘lets grab a cup of coffee’. They have wifi and the locale is very spacious and open. Food looked good as well and service was very nice.

I’m a huge tea drinker. In fact, I drink way more than I should on a daily basis. I wanted to love this new Teavana outpost and I do love the seating. But when I asked for a matcha green tea(traditionally a little bitter) and was given diabetes in return, I wasn’t super happy. Yes, Americans may like sugar but stop putting too much of it in the teas. I will go back for more of the Teavana drinks but without sugar. I think asking for no sugar may have too much sugar in it. However, I do want to love this so if someone from Teavana corporate has decided to read this please remove your sugar from your teams, it’s nasty. Do some more market research.
