I’m upping the stars to four. After several recent visits I’ve decided that either my taste buds have changed or they improved the taste. I actually taste the flavor of each. There is more of a peanut butter taste when it is called peanut butter! The employees are very nice at this location. I’m familiar with the girl that works during the week. They now have two employees or more behind the counter. It is such a small space I feel really sorry for them. I need to always show my rewards card. I’m usually busy checking in and I forget. I highly recommend Tasti de Lite. I’m sure it’s better for you than Ben and Jerry’s! :-) plus getting your free birthday scoop is much less of a hassle! You just show your plastic Tasti de card!

They NEVER have strawberry and seldom have plain coffee despite asking them to get it. All the servers say the manager never orders strawberry. They have a derivation of vanilla and chocolate EVERY day… the SAME flavors. I love the place but will take my business to 73rd street to get the third most popular flavor. And there is no way to leave a message for the manager. No one there will take a message. Bad business. I wonder if the owner knows this. Just get strawberry and coffee once a week for crying out loud!

I consider myself a bit of a Tasti connoisseur and something was way off with the French Vanilla mix yesterday. True tasti should be creamy but light, this was very icy. I assume they had the proportions mixed incorrectly in their machine, but it was very disappointing, particularly because at $ 4 for a small it’s not exactly cheap.

I do enjoy the soft serve ice cream treats Tasti D-Lite serves once in a while and have never had an ice cream confection here I didn’t enjoy, but I agree with other reviewers about their higher-than-expected prices.

This is a nice place to drop in for a nice treat, and not feel guilty about it !!! it is frozen yogurt for goodness sake. Who doesn’t love fro-yo? they had so many flavors to choose from. Pretty pricy but not to bad just make sure you can make up your mind and not get lost in all of the selections and possibilities of yummy !!!

It’s a compact ice cream place off a busy intersection. The cute menu has a variety of things, though I ended up getting something different from what I thought I was ordering… I felt like the employee was just trying to get me out of the way. The tart original froyo didn’t taste very tart like the typical«original» froyo flavor, but it was still pretty good. It’s pretty overpriced, and I don’t really see myself frequenting this place, despite being a froyoholic :(

Strawberry with strawberries. Can’t believe it was low cal. This is a cramped space, but sufficient for 3 people to devour such frozen treats.

A very sad, sour excuse for a frozen treat. Go for all the calories and go to a real ice cream place.

This is a very cool but small, frozen yogurt store. It is modern and clean and they have a lot of flavors 6. I am there a few times a week because its right near the subway.

Surprisingly, this is my favorite Tasti D location. You probably think that all of them are created equal, but you’re definitely wrong. The other three in the area are just not as good(86th street, 2nd Ave and 3rd Ave in the 90s). Yes, the place is SMALL, but here is why it is better: * They always seem to have the best flavors(cookies and cream, cake batter, strawberry d lite(YUM), peanut butter, etc.), where the other places will have these on occasion, but it seems like they have waaay too many days where they have bad flavors(e.g. the ones that taste like coconut). Now I realize this is personal preference, so maybe you will disagree with that… * Fast and friendly service. The place is small, but they navigate well and are really nice people. * Big tastes, generous portions, and the toppings are always filled and fresh. Part of this is because they place is very clean and well organized. You won’t find Oreos in the fruit here! * They have daily specials :). * They are 50 cents less expensive than the one on 2nd Ave(why??). * Great location — pop out of the subway and boom, Tasti. Docking a star because Tasti D Lite, in general, is not a 5 star frozen yogurt place. Also, while they navigate the small place well, it really sucks when it is so crowded and you have to wait outside with subway traffic pushing you.

What could be better on a hot day than a refreshing low-cal frozen treat with yummy toppings? I like that they change the flavors everyday, and you can get samples of them all.

As good as it gets for a Tasti D-lite location. Six flavors daily. New, clean, efficient, polite. Compact but it seems like most order to go. Great location in front of a bus stop and right around the corner from the 86th street station.
