I was so impressed with the genuine service I got at the Hut, even though they were beginning to get busy. I wish I could remember the name of the girl who helped me pick out my shades so that I could give her the credit she deserves.
The Hut has a «look good feel good no hassle» policy where you can return or exchange your glasses within 90 days of your purchase, as long as you keep the proof of purchase and original packaging. So I can wear them all summer and then return them? Doesn’t seem fair, but I like it.

This Rockefeller Center location is easy to find, but it’s not one of their larger locations. I wrenched my shades by sitting on them on the plane (oops!) and took them into this location because it was the first one I found on my trip. According to their policy, I’m ‘guaranteed’ free adjustments for life. Well, free doesn’t equal friendly – the two staff members (standing at the counter, no other customers in the store) kind of argued over who would get stuck dealing with my very quick adjustment. Got it done, but felt like a huge imposition.
