Stephanie Haldy, DMD

The truth is that I hate going to the dentist but I just went to Dr. Haldy through a friend’s recommendation and I was blown away. She is extremely attentive, calm and gentle. I’ve never had a cleaning where I felt nothing, especially considering the fact that I don’t floss like I’m supposed to. A huge thing to note here is that she did the cleaning her self instead of someone else.
She also adjusted my filling to help my bite that was done by another dentist and walked me through everything that she was going to do before doing it. I also felt nothing!
Her assistant/​partner, Jasmine was also phenomenal. She sat with me to go through my history, take x-​rays and ask me what is important to me in a dental visit to make sure I was comfortable with everything.
Highly recommend going here! Oh, and wait time was minimal — I was able to get a visit in during my lunch break.

Dr Haldy is Amazing. Through a friend’s recommendation, I made an appointment to have some invasive work done on a tooth. Dr Haldy was so attentive, gentle, professional, and honest. When I went for my procedure, I did not even feel a thing! She works so gently and clean! Her bedside manner is top notch. Her colleagues are great and the office is super clean and beautiful.

Dr Haldy is a great dentist. She has excellent bedside manner and has a very gentle touch. She is able to make you feel as relaxed as possible during any procedure. I cannot recommend her enough as a dentist. In addition her office is brand new, beautiful and state of the art. Everyone there is super friendly and I no longer dread going to the dentist.

I can’t reccommend Dr Haldy enough, she’s great, very kind with amazing bedside manners. Great dentist, don’t know what else to say!

I had to weigh the risk of making Dr. Haldy super popular with another fantastic review, but at the end of the day I just couldn’t keep her to myself.
She is a bright and caring dentist with a great personality and chairside manner (if that’s a word). We had a great conversation over the two days that I had work done.
I happen to be friends with an uncommon number of dentists and everyone had great things to say about her work.
I wish her a long and fantastic career and know that she will be making the world a happier and healthier place, one patient at a time.

No in all seriousness, Dr. Haldy is awesome… she is SO gentle you barely notice your getting a dental procedure done. I literally almost fell asleep! As long as I am in NY I will continue to see Dr.Haldy.

I’ve been searching for a good dentist in the city and finally found one. I highly recommend CitiDentalGroup and Dr. Haldy.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the facilities at CDG are bright, contemporary, and clean. The technology used for x-​rays and photography is state of the art with results displayed instantly on a large LCD television screen in each patient room.
The staff on the administration team are really pleasant, efficient, and customer service-​oriented. They processed my insurance and confirmed coverage /​benefits prior to my visit so the check-​in process was smooth upon arrival. I spent minimal time in the waiting area.
Dr. Haldy is a great communicator and has an excellent bedside manner. I was really impressed with her attentiveness especially in an age where doctors are hopping from one room to the next in order to see patients. We reviewed my x-​ray results together and she provided candid advice on my wisdom teeth. She also handled the cleaning (with a hand scaler at my request) and did a great job… quick and painless.
Overall, I had a great patient experience from check-​in to check-​out. One final detail: they send you home with a clear toiletry bag that includes a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and lip balm. Pretty slick.

The Dental Experience at CitiDentalGroup is the best I have ever encountered. From the moment you check-​in through to your check-​out, every moment has been handled with excellence. From the reception area to the rest of the facilities, you can tell that a lot of thought went into making sure the experience was pleasant and top notch.
As for Dr. Haldy… She is awesome! I always feel at ease when I come in to visit her. Pain and Fear are minimal to nonexistent. She is very pleasant, knowledgeable and handles each appointment with great care.

No-​nonsense but kind. I came in with a strong dental phobia and lots of issues due to dental health neglect but she’s been solution oriented. If you deal with dental fear and a history of dentists or hygienists humiliating you because of your issues, I recommend this practice. She is not a hand-​holder but is empathetic and clear about what she’s doing; your prognosis and the cost associated with your services. You will have to be able to tolerate discomfort and awkwardness but I had very little pain during or after my procedure and am now doing well at scheduling follow-​up appointments.

I can’t say enough positive things about Dr Haldy. I will start with the fact that I have been terrified of going to the dentist for about 8 years now and have gone with extreme reluctance each time, which I admit was still the case when I visited CitiDental. I didn’t know who my dentist would be, I had never been here before, and I was relying on Unilocal to make my decision on a dental home in NYC.
I was extremely happy with my choice. Dr Haldy is very sweet, takes time to chat about any issues you have (even silly questions like «can you tell me how much this is going to hurt first??), and as big of a baby as I am I will say… everything I’ve had done here has been relatively pain free.
I’ve been to several appointments here now and I highly recommend Dr Haldy. CitiDental was also very accommodating with schedule changes or short notice appointments for emergencies. I’m no longer afraid of the dentist!

Stephanie is just the sweetest dentist I have ever come in contact with. She is extremely detail oriented, thorough and super relaxed… which makes someone anxious around needles (like me) calm and composed. I now look forward to visiting the dentist, which in the past has been rare, but Stephanie makes it easy and enjoyable.
See my other reviews on other Dentists in this practice. I cannot recommend them enough. I have had soooo much work done here (fillings, crowns, gum surgery, root canals) and these doctors keep everything personal and know me by name, even the friendly receptionists!
You will be very pleased with your results from anyone at CitiDental. If not… I’d be shocked.

I originally had an appointment with Dr. Laflin but found out that he was on vacation. No big deal since this was my first time here and didn’t know what to expect…
So basically, this is the best place I’ve been to for my teeth cleaning.
The ceiling that I stared at during the cleaning is clean (Didn’t want to be rude), the equipment is hi-​tech and clean, the seats were clean, the place looked beautiful, and most of all, Alma Semsiu the hygienist, Dr. Haldy were overwhelmingly pleasant to deal with!
They were worth every penny, and I’m really really really really really really happy.
Really.

If I think back to the condition my teeth were in when I first visited Dr. Haldy’s office, and where I am now, you will know why I am extremely satisfied. My dental health has improved significantly since coming to her practice. My husband and I really like my new smile. Great results! Very professional. I feel that Dr. Haldy has the experience and skill to put her at the top of her profession.

Dr. Haldy was simply amazing. She made me feel at ease and comfortable. She filled a four cavities for me with little to no pain. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a simple check up to a root canal. If you are looking for a reliable dentist go visit Dr. Haldy.
