For a Starbucks this places gets 5 stars in my book and let me give you the low down. 1. This is like Starbucks 2.0, the nicer, cooler, shinier version. Not only do you get the expected NY speedy and efficient service(this is a huge plus for me since I’m out of state and service is poo poo outside of the city!) but they have a lot more variety on the menu. 2. They serve a larger selection of options of food in the display case and refrigerated section. I was particularly excited about the Bantam Bagels(mini bagels stuffed with cream cheese) and additional Evolution juice varieties(e.g. Strawberry Lemonade, Defense Up and Super Greens) that are not available at my local shop. 3. I have been to other Starbucks that serve wine and tapas but this location takes it to another level and serves local Brooklyn Brewery beer, champagne and a pretty elaborate tapas menu! 4. For the gourmet coffee lovers they have Clover brewing machines. 5. They have a modern, boutiquey vibe going on. If you are in the area, you should check it out! They are located on the third floor(one level up from the street). Just hop on the escalator and they are right as you get off one of the escalators in the shoe salon by Gucci and Louis Vuitton. Come for the coffee but stay for the wine.
