Great location for Starbucks inside the Marriott building. I was staying at the W my last trip here & just had to walk across the street to get there. It’s not really staffed that well so expect a wait. There were only 2 people manning the place & it actually ran quicker than expected the times I was there. There’s a tiny bar to sit at but you’re more than likely gonna grab your coffee(& food) and go. It gets cramped easily & quickly but I’m not sure where else to get your caffeine fix in the area so it works for me when I’m downtown.

It has been my go to morning place every day and normally it is all right) It seams there are several people working but there is always a line in the morning and it’s not moving fast enough for the peak hours. I must say that coffee is consistently good and they started to have almond milk option, which I love. It is located in the building of a Marriott hotel so having many tourists there annoys me sometimes but hey, I live near 9⁄11 memorial, so shouldn’t complain.

These guys are great! I went in with no idea what I wanted besides something with a lot of sugar and caffeine. Well the beverage they made me has become my new favorite! They’ve got excellent staff and are in a great location!

Normally, I would not review a Starbucks. But I’ll do this one as a PSA. This ISNOT a Starbucks. Instead, it is a hotel café branded as a Starbucks. The result is that everything is significantly more expensive than you would expect. They will not necessarily tell you this from the get-go. But let’s say you order a venti, extra-hot, no foam, half-soy, half-skim, hazelnut mochaccino, because that’s the kind of [person] you are. Let’s also say that you don’t specifically ask how much this will set you back, since you’ve ordered it about 20 thousand times in the past, so you already have your $ 6 or so at the ready. Then you wind your way to the register. The cash-ista will, without blinking, tell you that your total is $ 9.88 or some other madness. This is not some kind of lower Manhattan development area sales tax trickery. It is, instead, shady tourist hotel meets gullible tourist trickery. Luckily, there’s a real Starbucks two blocks away. And another one two blocks away from that one. And so on and so on, until the you hit the ocean. And a bunch of other coffee shops that are not Starbucks at all. * * * (You’re welcome for me saving you from that embarrassing moment where you’ve ordered the drink, the drink has been made, it actually has your name on it, but you’re so offended by the price that you don’t want it… and then you pay for it, but you can’t enjoy it)

Pros: — Friendly staff. — Convenient to trains and World Trade Center Memorial. Cons: — Over priced than other Starbucks locations a block away. — Is NOT equipped to process order with Starbucks phone app. — Long lines most of the day. — No bathroom /toilet. Suggestion: there are 3 alternative Starbucks locations in walking distance from this location.

These guys are open again and I am ecstatic, since I volunteer around the corner. There is not a ton of seating inside, but there are ample Downtown Alliance tables outside, so it’s OK. Plus, they were all smiles. So happy. They were slow with getting my drink to me today, but since they’d only been open 48 hours, I’m forgiving. That iced coffee was the best. Ummmm and free wireless abounds. This is the best thing to happen to the block. Really.

What can i say… its Starsbucks! the biggest issue they have is lines… and when you walk in this early, you tend to have the place to yourself! Again, its Starbucks!!!
