Nasty attitudes, messy surroundings, incorrect orders. There are plenty more Starbucks in the area to go to, do not go here!

Starbucks is always a consistent place to come to for moderately OK coffee. I do love the holiday drinks though. In the fall, with the pumpkin spice and chai lattes to the peppermint mocha, praline latte, and eggnog latte. It’s all delicious! When I came to this store, there was quite a line due to the special offering of buy one get one free. There is some seating toward the front of the store. Service was pretty efficient for the number of people that were present.

A homeless shelter that serves coffee. The health department should see the funk and disgrace called«the men’s room.» Close it down. The tables and seats are«owned» by drifters who don’t tuck their shirts in and reek of must and mold. If you want to see exposed protruding bellies and narcoleptics, come here. The semi-homeless and drifters drink water out of Starbucks cups but never buy coffee and won’t leave. Sometimes they use the bathroom sinks as bathtubs. I try to be compassionate but sometimes its a challenge. I make coffee at home now.

Asked for ice and they looked at me like I instantly grew horns!!! Never got my extra ice so I guess I’ll have to enjoy my iced tea warm

Accustomed to typical service at a Starbucks chain. However, employees were extremely rude and unknowable about the products rendered. I will find a new place for an evening tea.

On 7pm on a Sunday: — No more peach iced tea — No more lemonade — No more cold brew — No more iced coffee — No more pastries — One long and slow-as-molasses line — One broken a/c — Two weirdos sitting next to me… Need I go on? Literally nothing redeeming about this place

I love Starbucks and this is the closest one to my apartment, however the service is horrible. My drinks are always correct however more times than not they come with a huge side of attitude. I would like to order a latte there w/o the eye rolls.

The coffee, teas and food are like any other Starbucks. However, the service is ridiculous. Slow, rude, non-attentive. I order something and need to repeat it multiple times and then once paid they don’t get part of the order. It is a shame because this my local Starbucks but the services deters me from going whereas the one by my office I give 5 stars.

Not sure why I seem to be addicted to going to Starbucks lately, since I’m an infrequent coffee drinker. It must be their Iced passion fruit tea and the fact I’m 2stars away from being a gold star member. I do like perks! This location on the UES has always been consistent with beverage prep, service and cleanliness… GOOD. From time to time I get my lattes, frapaccinos, flavored or classic and I must say it must be the steamed frothy milk or icy slush that makes even an infrequent coffee drinker a regular visitor. I’ve always loved the smell of coffee… but not the caffeine. It seems like Starbucks is a staple in NYC. I also like the fact they are a socially responsible company.

Got a dark roast yesterday and today being in the area… Coffee is just like any other Starbucks, baristas tho really have an attitude and the condiment table was messy both times.

I never review chains, but I just checked this Starbucks out on pure curiosity and was kind of bummed to see the low reviews. This is my local Bucks(an avenue parallel to my place) and I literally go every morning. The coffee is the same as any Starbucks, but the reason I’m so passionate right now is that the baristas are super great. Friendly and super quick. I’m in and out in less than 3 minutes every morning and they know my order!

This morning the line appeared long but I went inside anyway to buy coffee and the line went by mad fast before I can even sign into my Starbucks app. Great job for getting a long line moving and making me less cranky with your customer service that today was better than usual.

Bad service — they don’t take names and waiting forever cause possibly someone took my iced tea. They truly don’t recognize people are needing to get to work.

Long lines in the morning and occasionally incompetent staff. The location is convenient for me though…

The lines are always pretty long here. I get coffee averagely twice a day. The condiment station is usually pretty messy. Spilled coffee takes over the counter on most days.

Lines are always so long in the am during rush hour, but the baristas are slow as hell. The most efficient Starbucks I went to when I worked near there was the one at Grand Central Terminal. I want to be in and out before I have to go to work, and without fail, they are really slow here. Also, came here to redeem my birthday drink and the guy swiped my Starbucks card and said, nope, you don’t have one. Except I looked in my account and I DO. So… incompetent and slow. Sigh.

Starbucks is not good for coffee but I hold a gold membership card since last summer. This Starbucks is one of my go-to locations in the city because it is the closest to where I spent over 10h/day on weekly basis. The staff is friendly. I like them. Mind you, sometimes they have their head kinda somewhere else but who doesn’t. Particularly if I am there to re-charge my senses. Chai lattes and Dirty Chais are my drinks always and are well made although I have tasted better ones in other locations. They lack normally an extra hint of chai which is how I like to roll, but still, well prepared and during polar vortex I survived because of this probably. The store is always clean and the seating is nice. I would say it can hold around 25 people including a 10-people seating communal table in the middle. However, it is small for the area and depending on when do you stop by this will become apparent. We are in college/hospital/research centers area and this Starbucks, the only one around, can hardly support people’s demand. Which considering caffeine, theanine and sugar sure have big contribution to brainy stuff people around demand it a lot. During peak hours will be a line; in reality that’s not different to other locations so never mind about the brainy stuff. There is also certain variation in how your drink is made depending on how rushed they are and who prepare your drink. Again, it is your average Starbucks. Go however after hours(closing time is 10pm) and you will be fine. My next project is to become the duchess so I’m even more pushed to go here everyday just because of that. Ain’t gonna be easy. Definitely recommended. Just please don’t check-in often

It’s a Starbucks. A large one, with enough seating(including a long community style table), and plenty of room for a line during peak hours. The staff was terribly slow at the register, talking with the customers in front of me after their transaction about non-Starbucks-related chatter. They were also rude — no smiles for me at ordering or getting my drink. But everyone has their bad days. It was a coffee and it was fine, but I wouldn’t seek out this location as my go-to spot.

I really like this location of Starbucks. The one on 3rd ave is way too crowded for me and it takes quite a long time to get a drink. This location is my go-to. The space is big and set-up nicely so that the lines don’t interfere with the seating area. It can be a bit crowded during peak lunch hours because all the hospital staffs go here for their pick-me-ups. But even during peak hours the staff here is extremely efficient and quick. I got my first PSL of the season(they came earlier that expected) and it was piping hot-delicious. Love the big community table and the high-top chairs by the windows. It’s comfy and relaxing inside. A good spot for studying or for a break from the working world.
