Sonia Rodriguez Bridal

Sonia was the makeup artist for my wedding. I had gone through 4 other makeup trials before I found her. She listened to what I wanted and did an incredible job. She was professional, nice, and most of all made everyone look spectacular. I can’t thank her enough for my perfect makeup on my wedding day! If you are thinking about using her, don’t think anymore, she is fantastic.

I was not impressed. I was at an event where Sonia was a paid make-​up artist through the event. I came with full make up (foundation, eye shadow, mascara and brows) and I asked if she would put on eye lashes for me and she refused. I was so upset because it is very hard for me to put on eyelashes by myself, but I couldn’t afford to show it because I was about to go on camera and do one of the biggest interviews of my life.
I sat down in her chair against my better judgement and she did light touch ups, but nothing spectacular. My lips were bare and when she asked me what color I wanted on my lips I just told her to never mind and that I brought my own lipstick.
Needless to say I did not look my best for my on-​camera interview… afterwards I Googled her name and was SHOCKED that she is such a high-​profile artist.
I guess you have to be a super star to get the celeb make-​up treatment. I admit that no one at my event was being paid well, including myself, so obviously I was not someone with whom she was hoping to build a long-​term relationship.
