I found this place to be a typical mid-town deli. It’s convenient if you’re working across the street. I had a very berry smoothie for a snack yesterday. However, they threw in sweetened dried blueberries when they made it($ 3.99 for 12 oz). That overwhelmed the taste of the other fruits. I also grabbed a mini potato salad for $ 1.99. It wasn’t anything special — just sliced potatoes w/sweetened mayo. This place does have a nice, homey ambience though.

«Simple» is a good word to describe this dime-a-dozen deli in Midtown East. What makes it a place I like to frequent, however, are the good deals and basic but fresh food. This is the Home of the $ 1.99 breakfast sandwich, which is a great deal in my book. I get an egg, tomato, and hot sauce on a toasted english muffin for 2 bucks. Simple and fresh. They also have a decent oatmeal bar and good soups. Not a place you would go out of the way to visit, but worth a stop in if you work in the neighborhood.

I love the food, but its a health hazard. when you order take out or delivery, they wrap the sandwich with aluminum foil and then the cut it. That;s not cool. You end up digesting metal. What restaurant this day and age does that?

Came in here for the $ 1.99 sausage egg and cheese sandwich. It was clean in there and they were fast. The sandwich was very tasty and cheap!
