I never wrote a review but I’ve never had seen such a perfect combination of bad service, product and support. So they really deserve my time(and should get no stars at all). I overlook the fact that they had no choice in terms of blackout shades because of my Living social voucher(don’t bother!!!) and got nothing of what I ordered, and the black out shades can’t cover my baby’s windows properly(defies the purpose). They told me they would 1) install child proof chain– never done even after several requests, 2) install them on the ceiling — they said they would be didn’t in the end as it is «more costly to them», 3) technician was always late, and even one time failed to call to say he wouldn’t show up. 4) one of the shade fell apart, literally — they changed it but gave me grief for having waited so long(because the other technician never showed up maybe…) They changed it while recognizing that they were not really blocking the light and promise to offer me a deal to remedy the issue, since there was a flaw in their own design– which they never followed up with. Not only are they the most incompetent I’ve ever seen, their product is below average in choice and in quality. Save yourself frustration, time and money and go somewhere else.

Avoid! Purchased the Living Social deal, and tried to get some samples or a catalog shipped to my house before the salesperson arrived. Impossible. Apparently they send neither a catalog nor samples if you’re using the coupon. When the salesperson did arrive at my home(45 min late), he informed me that I had only two fabrics from which to choose and he’d be charging me a lot more than what is quoted on their website. I asked for an explanation and he told me that the online prices are not valid for the Living Social deal. Uh … how does that work? In the end, I declined the shades, contacted Living Social, and received a prompt refund. Thanks, but NO thanks!

I’m very dissatisfied with my ShadesToGo shades. I bought the Living Social Deal, but I don’t think that’s any reason to do a poor job. The salesman came to measure, I ordered the shades. The installation men were running 1 hour late the first attempt to install, and 1.5 hours late the second attempt and I had to reschedule both times. Now the shades are up and one is shorter in width than the other(I just measured… it’s not that one of my windows is bigger than the other as suggested) and it looks terrible. I don’t know if I should call them to complain…
