SGTs

Went there with two friends after our previous saturday night plans failed. The line was quick, the bouncers were reasonable, the cocktails are a little price but the DJ was amazing. The music was a perfect variety and we danced all night!

Where do I begin. First off bouncers were nice easy entry into the place no line.
When you first walk in there was music playing really loud and it was Top 40 music and songs from the 90’s. Everyone was loud and singing along to all the beats. We decided to go to the coat check which is located on the rooftop floor and I felt like I time warped back to the 80’s. It was definitely a lounge type feel no music you can really dance too.
The drinks were about 12 dollars either the drink was made pretty good or it was weak because all I tasted was juice.
We decided to go downstairs to the basement and walked a million stairs down to a more intimate lounge like vibe where there were lots of couples.
After we decided we were leaving, we had to walk up another million stairs to go get our coats.
It is definitely not my type of place I don’t think I will be going back here again.

I went here a few weekends ago without any expectations, just heard it was a ‘chill’ place. Well chill was an understatement. I LOVE this place. It truly feels like 3 different bars in one, as there are 3 floors. The basement being my favorite! It felt like a dirty basement party with old school tunes… love love love! Being an LES junkie how had I never been here before?! SGTs where have you been all my life!!?

Had a nice time here with my husband… the energy was vibrant and the vibe cool and breezy! The blueberry cipiraniha was savory. We will definitely be back… thanks for the invite James B!!!

Had a great time here on Saturday (¹⁰⁄₈). Went with a friend for her birthday, and it was a really fun time. I think the key is that there is plenty of space, so if you want to dance and move you won’t feel like a sardine. Enjoy SGTs.
