Halva heaven! They have incredibly delicious halva in so many and such interesting flavors! So far of the ones I tried, my favorites are the nougat and the white chocolate lemon. Next time I go, I am going to try the cranberry, the rose oil and the coffee! I’m so glad that there’s a place dedicated to this heathy and delicious sweet treat! Thank you Seed + Mill!

Wow, wow, wow! I found halva heaven today! There are so many flavors to choose form. I bought the lemon and white chocolate and ate the whole piece before we got home! I also bought a jar of the herb tahini. i used it for tonight’s dinner over some baked potatoes. Even my kids loved it, which isn’t always the case when we try new products. I had to wait at the register for a while to pay and thought the check out system was a bit disorganized but forgivable since they only just opened. Definitely worth the trip to chelsea market just for this!

This is the first halva store I’ve come across in NYC. They have a lot of unusual flavors, or rather they have a lot of different flavors, which is unusual; at least for me. Believe it or not, I only ever ate plain halva. Speaking of which, SEED+MILL halva tastes just like any other pre-packaged halva I’ve had before. It’s nothing special. It’s overhyped and overpriced. Good but not great. As a side note, they have small children running around behind the counter, which is super distracting.

They opened a bunch of new places in Chelsea Market recently! I went here and to a chocolate place, which was also amazing. They sell a product called halva which looks like a cake but has more of a candy-esque texture to it. I never had it before and I didn’t know what to expect but the blonde girl was nice and gave me multiple samples as they were closing. Loved the chocolate one, the fig one and the other fruit one. I wasn’t a fan of the sugar free. I ended up really liking it though my piece crumbled a bit afterwards, on the train. I’m going to go back to the other stations, so stay tuned.

Finally — a halvah haven. They have many exotic and traditional flavors; I sampled Rose oil, Ginger + Cardamom — each was true to name and you could taste the flavors. The texture of the halvah was great. I highly recommend the tahini soft serve — I guess I really love sesame Hoping they stick around so I don’t have to trek to the LES for my halvah fix.

I just do not like it at all. There owners were desperately taking pictures to make their brand and products look pretty. And I, here, totally cannot get any deliciousness after the first bite so that i have to trash it immediately. Location: Chelsea Market seems to always be in a mood of changing. Seed+ Mill just popped up from no where. At least, I am pretty surprise when I saw this new stores. And the delicateness decoration made me wonder what kind of things they sell. And some weird type of cake showed up and I asked for a slice. …bad I do not like it. The texture is unique but I don’t like it. It is over frozen ice cream … And it’s pricy too. Try it, know it and never come back for it.

The Tahini goat milk ice cream at this new kiosk in the recently revamped section of Chelsea Market is excellent(a flavor never available at Victory Garden on my visits, but definitely on par quality-wise, which makes sense since they make it ), even if the halva topping didn’t make for a tidy dessert and the date molasses syrup was underwhelming(at least they charged me just $ 4.90 despite a sign for $ 1.00 for toppings). Very sweet ladies with lovely accents(which made me realize«I’ll deal with you in a minute» was cultural rather than rude) running the operation, with halva as the focal point of their display.
