I’ve seen these cookies all over instagram and had been super excited to try. I ordered a S’mores cookie and was thoroughly disappointed. The flavor was so off with no trace of the S’mores flavor. The cookie itself was slightly salty and the flavor was all over the place. The marshmellow spread over the cookie was messy to eat and not that great either; it didn’t go well with the salty and chocolate-less cookie. It may have just been the S’mores cookie as my friend seemed to enjoy his Funfetti one so I’ll definitely be willing to give it another try with a different flavor next time. If it’s your first time visiting, don’t get the S’mores cookie! You’ll be as disappointed as I was. :(

If ANYONE needs a great SCHNACK it’s US! And when I say US I mean, EVERYONE! This is the best place we could find any good treat! If only we were hungry for more, we might have bought the whole place out! The blueberry cookie and s’mores was my idea, and my partner chose the rice crispy which was JUST as good. We nibbled here and there throughout the remainder of the evening, just to hold onto the flavors. Nuf said.

This place is freaking amazing if you have a sweet tooth for cookies! I would have pictures but me, my wife and mother-in-law demolished these cookies haha!

Two more! The Peanut Gallery: Immediate assertive roasted peanut taste which was nice as there was a more intense flavor. This cookie had a slightly crumbly texture as the cookie formed crevices and crackled apart when I snapped off an end to eat. Peanut butter and peanut butter chips were both very mild in flavor compared to the dominant peanuts, but that was not a detriment. White Island: Upon my first bite, the cookie had a pleasurable chewy texture more so than other Schmackary cookies I’ve eaten. Immediate flavor I encountered was a smooth coconut taste(coconut used improperly can be very overpowering), followed by the large white chocolate chips that were nicely mild in sweetness, and finally the macadamia nuts that gave a welcomed change in texture and added some rich nutty flavor. I love White Chocolate Macadamia cookies and this one was really excellent!

I like this place, but the cute cashier wasn’t too happy with me when I didn’t tip. I know that there is a debate as to the need for tipping when all they have done is sell you their product. Here I was faced with a screen that demanded I choose either a 15, 20, or 25% tip. 25% for putting my purchase in a bag? The only alternative was«no tip.» That’s what I chose, but I would have given him two bucks just for being cute, but instead he just stood his ground and didn’t give me my receipt. Oh well, a dollar here, a dollar there. Let me choose the tip and I will. The cookies were absolutely wonderful.

wow, these cookies are insane!!! they’re cookies with a spread, similar to icing, on top! Genius! There are so many options, making it difficult to chose. I went close to closing one night, and the cookies were buy 1 get one 50% off, which is awesome! So of course, I got two, the chocolate chip cookie dough and the cookies and cream. The cookies are so large and rich, i had one bite of the chocolate chip cookie dough and i was done, i didn’t even get to the cookies and cream. I would consider splitting with your friends, It’s a great treat!!!

Our favorite cookie/ice cream sandwich place was in California at a place called«Cream,» so we were really excited when we came across this place. Unfortunately it just wasn’t as good as Cream. The cookie selection was great, but the cookies we received were overly hard and a little dry. I blame it on the fact that we came in 45 minutes before closing. Will definitely give it another shot next time we’re in NY.

The review is just for service and the ice lattes. Service was friendly and and the iced lattes were good. It was nice for a hot day around the city! There were no lines and I didn’t feel like eating cookies at that time. Next time, I should get cookies!!!

I finally did this cookie joint that so many other Unilocalers have done, and I’m surprise that it took me this long since they are only a block or two out of my way to the PABT. But now that I have begun to venture down 9th avenue recently I spotted them close to the 45th Street corner on 9th avenue. Schmackary’s is a small shop with outdoor seating in warm weather with their main offering being cookies in two sizes and over two dozen flavors and many available gluten free but not every day. They rotate the cookies and some are seasonal so you need to check with their web site to find what’s available and not expect they have it everyday. Plus you can get coffee and ice cream and you can make your own ice cream sandwich with any cookies that you want. I tried the Chocolate Chip, Sch’mores, Oatmeal Scotchie, Coconut Chip, Butter Pecan and they are all pretty good but enough for me to make a special trip for. If I’m nearby or my BFF ask for some cookies then it’s a done deal. I did notice each time I go to Schmackary’s their are plenty of people just sitting around and chit-chatting. So I guess it’s a good spot to meet someone if the bar seen or doing a lunch is not for you.

Delicious homemade cookies! Walked in after a filling brunch over at Bea. But that’s a different review. Had an ice cream sandwich with a smore cookie on the bottom, and a classic chocolate chip on the top. It was delicious! The ice cream was amazing as well, not too cold and obviously not hot. It was just the right temperature for us to be able to enjoy the ice cream sandwich nice and quick. It’s a lil pricey, but given their product well worth the price. Reason for 4 instead of 5 is the wrapping method. It is non existent. I’ve been to places like DeeDee Reese in LA that wrap the cookie sandwich so that the ice cream doesn’t fly out the back when taking a bite.

There was a line down the sidewalk at 10 pm on a Saturday so I figured this place was something special. Lots of options to select from. A fellow like goer was happy to give me recommendations. She said to avoid the chocolate chip which is of course what I wanted. So I went for the Sch’Mores. It tasted as advertised but was really messy to eat due to the marshmallow topping. I would definitely go back but would try something different.

These cookies were decent, one thumbs up. I heard great things so I wanted to give this place a try. The chocolate chip with coconut hit both sweet and salty notes. The funfetti was sweet and tasty. They are 2 for 5, so you have to go for it. They are big so you can share with friends. I just like a soft cookie and these were more crunchy. No big deal, I would return and recommend, just not my last cookie on earth, ya know?

I love a good cookie and decided to branch out from the BESTCHOCOLATECOOKIEYOU’LLEVERHAVE at Levain Bakery in the Upper West Side. We found highly rated Schmackary’s and didn’t realize it was a tourist trap until we had ordered. They have a variety of cookies from sweet corn to s’mores and they are tasty, but not the best NYC has to offer. For better cookies, go to Levain Bakery in the Upper West Side. Their cookies have won awards!

6 cookies for $ 14, $ 2.75 a cookie, 2 for $ 5. I had the carrot cake cookie and it was delicious. A bit too sweet for my taste buds but could be remedied with a glass of milk. Their lucky charms rice crispy treat looks delicious and I would probably go for that next time I’m in the area. Their packaging is pretty cute so the presentation of a box of cookies would make a cute gift. They don’t have a bathroom available in the store but if you go next door to five napkin burger, and say you just came from Schmackary’s, they let you use their bathroom.

My friend and I came here to grab cookies. There isn’t too much place for seating but there is a nice bench outside. These cookies are pretty big and give you a discount depending on how much you order. I ordered the chocolate chip cookie which was pretty crunchy/sweet. I liked my friend’s carrot cake much better. It was much sweeter but had much more flavour. I’d definitely return to try try other cookies.

Came upon this place by accident. Happened to be parked in front of this place devouring a lobster roll I got a few blocks over. 1. Saw the long line 2. Checked out Unilocal on phone and saw good reviews 3. Joined long line. I went wild when I shouldn’t have. I got about 10 cookies — most of them chocolate chip with a mix of the remaining — I think cookies n’cream. What struck my palate was the saltiness of the cookie which I wasn’t a fan of. I got bored on my 4th cookie. I will stick with the cookies at Levain Bakery.

Circus Town of Cookie Flavors! Lots of frosting, sprinkles, and the oft used sweet/savory thing. I ate half a dozen flavors but the one that stands out is the employee pimped Corn Cookie. Tastes like the best buttery corn muffin you have ever had down south, wrapped up in that familiar happy wholesome cookie goodness.

I «like» cookies, but I «love» Schmackary’s cookies. There is a difference between love and like. Like is more of: «yeah I enjoy it.» Love is more of: «I can’t resist but to eat.» I have to say I couldn’t resist but to eat Schmackary’s heavenly cookies. I visited this place after the diabetes lecture. Despite learning about the«badness» of consuming loads of sugars, my hands were out of control. My brain was telling me to «stop,» but my hands were still going towards the cookies, and shuvelling into my mouth. They were soooo gooood! We ordered 5 different kinds of cookies, and all of them were recommended by the staff members. Including I myself, there were 3 of us, and we finished all of those cookies in less than 20 minutes. I loved it, and can’t wait to go and grab more cookies!!!

Really happy that I have checked this small cute cookie place out. Since I started to workout, I tend to shed away from dessert type of food yet I cannot help but to come here due to its fame across my friends. They do serve cookies of various size(so that I was able to try their mini size — schmall cookie). Their regular size cookies were really giant — but I got so attracted by their red velvet cookie and chocolate chip one — probably loaded in sugars as well. It was on the expensive side however, with a schmall cookie priced north of 3 dollars.

Also jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

Oh my god!
