Finished our kitchen in August. Love the look and the quality of the cabinets but still shaken from the design and installation experience. The designer’s work was uninspiring — primitive CAD drawings that give you a vague idea of the final look, exactly like the IKEA’s on-line design tool. They require full payment upfront, so there is no incentive to fix anything post-delivery. The«expert» installation is outsourced to contractors who don’t want to deal with any issues. We had several nerve-wracking days when our kitchen sink, approved by the designer, turned out to be incompatible with the cabinets and the counter top. The cabinets have been cut to fit the sink, but it didn’t fit with anything else. The designer never admitted to the mistake nor offered to help. Instead she just blamed it all on us. Since the cabinets are not standard US sizes, which they don’t tell you, finding the right sink became a nightmare, all while not having a working kitchen. It all has worked out in the end, but no thanks to any of the Scavolini SOHO people.

I have to share a great experience with scavolini. My kitchen is a year and a half old and was ordered by my contractor through an out of satiate dealer, I have no records or paperwork re the order whatsoever. One of the drawer’s closing mechanisms started to malfunction recently, I called the Soho store, came in and was given a set of brand new railings for the drawer! No questions asked. Everything is back to working order. I was impressed with the staff responsiveness and readiness to help! Great job, thank you, guys!
