Words cannot express the sheer awesomeness of Savannah Bentz, who single-​handedly changed my feelings about my hair from «hopeless» to «yes, this hair can actually look great!» I have super-​fine hair which was never able to hold a style and can barely even handle layering… always looks drab and lifeless. Short styles look sloppy on me, long styles end up looking flat, most layering gives me an awkward frizz. Well, this woman changed all that around! She just UNDERSTANDS. She gave me not only the best haircut I have EVER had (which actually involved layers and gave my flat, lifeless hair some serious volume and some actual ability to play with styling, a never-​before-​experienced possibility) but she ALSO gave me a fantastic color. She is actually genius at both, which is very difficult to find. This woman is a wiz! And, what’s more, is her pricing is actually very reasonable considering her amazing talents. Totally gets hair, gets your pet peeves about your hair and finds a way to get around them so that you actually can have the hair you thought you couldn’t have. I have finally found THE ONE.

Savannah has been cutting my hair for something like 4 years now, and at this point, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to cut it! She does an amazing job creating a hairstyle that matches the shape of my face, the texture of my hair, and most importantly, my personality. She just «gets it».
While she was away on maternity leave, I was in a panic knowing I’d have to have someone else cut my hair and when I did get it cut, not only was it mediocre compared to Savannah, but I felt like I was cheating! ha.
While her price is totally reasonable for her expertise, it’s a little tight for my budget — but I go anyway, because I know she’ll deliver in ways that other stylists just can’t. For me, it’s sooo worth it.
I’m so SO glad she’s back and can’t wait for my next cut.

«For the hair you never knew you could have, go see Sav»…Savannah has been cutting and coloring my hair for over four years and she ROCKS! Before going to her my hair was straight, boring and way too «Jersey» (highlights included). Her technique allows the hair to embrace it’s natural wave or curl and it becomes a low maintenance, ultra stylish ‘do that continues to look fab as it grows out. As far as color, my highlights are so subtle and natural you’d think I just came back from being in the tropical sun. Plus, the products she suggests are key to maintaining the look until the next visit.

I have been a client of Savannah’s for almost two years and I can say everytime she gives me a haircut I feel like a new person. She’s hip, edgy, and sophisticated and her haircuts have all of those same elements.
I trusted Savannah to take me from shoulder length hair to a short «pixie» cut and I absolutely love it.
Best of all Savannah really listens to her clients but will tell you whether or not the style you have in mind will flatter your face/​features.
So if you are tired of being drab and want to be fab run don’t walk to Savannah!

Savannah is awesome. I went to her on a recommendation from a friend. She gave me a great cut I wanted and her pricing is not bad for her level of experience at all. I live in Astoria so for me the location is inconvenient but I definitely plan on going back to her for some hair smoothing process we talked about. I wouldn’t trust doing that with just anyone.

A haircut is a subjective experience – beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all. But thanks to Savannah’s expert styling not only do I find myself with the hottest girlfriend ever but I can get away with being totally obnoxious half the time ’cause I’m so damn good looking.
Seriously – Savannah’s great!
