Samantha is a great listener and was good at understanding my tastes and requirements for the remodel. We did a reasonable size remodel of a studio, adding my personality and style while staying on time in budget. While designing as well as helping during the construction phase, she kept my goals and budget in mind and helped get exactly what was needed. She was very available throughout the process and extremely responsive: good at communicating in person/​over email/​on phone and ready to visit multiple places with us as I searched for the right material.

Samantha is truly fabulous. First, she is a lovely human being. Second, she held my hand at every step, transforming my new East Village 1-​bedroom from boxy Ikea blah to balanced, bright and clean. This was my first time working with an interior designer, and I was nervous – but I found her input invaluable. She really listened to what I wanted and helped me find smart solutions that worked for me (and my budget), rather than pushing anything on me. It was a relaxed, but efficient process. Her advice is down-​to-​earth, easy-​to-​execute and genius at the same time. I love my new home :)

I’ve been working with Samantha for the past few months on revamping my entire apartment, and I’ve been so impressed the whole time. She was able to to really listen to what my fiancé and I liked, despite our differing taste, and find common themes that we both loved. She is that rare mix of creative and organized. She can think outside the box to solve complex design challenges, and she’s also a true professional — responsive, patient, and flexible.
In addition to helping arrange and select furniture and accessories, she connected me with a great contractor and project managed a number of additional changes to the apartment, including an absolutely fantastic custom bookshelf and desk and a number of other fixer-​uppers.
Since I’ve been working with her, my apartment has transformed. I feel like I live in a new place, and for the first time in my life, I feel like it actually reflects who I am and what I love.
On this project, she worked with Cecilia Reboursin of Larebour as a partner. Cecilia, a former archictect, is also absolutely fantastic, and they make a great team!

Samantha has a unique eye for making things really work together. What I liked most about working with her is that she really took the time to get to know me as an individual so that we could apply my personality to our design decisions. I learned a lot from her in terms of how to think out of the box and see colors in a different way. She really goes above and beyond and provides a level of personalization that stands out above the rest. She is a joy to work with !!

I have been working with Samantha for a little over a month now on my evolving one-​bedroom apartment and her insight has been indispensable. Samantha is fun, flexible and considerate of my budget. She has shown me how to make items, I thought were useless, really functional again. In other words, she doesn’t try to make me buy things I don’t need. On the other hand she brings tons of options for the things I do need to buy, like storage solutions and seating.
No matter how design savvy you are sometimes the process can be overwhelming– so a pro like Samantha can be really helpful. She’s honest, reliable, down-​to-​earth and best of all listened to my wants and needs– she never comes with her own agenda.

Samantha did an amazing job of helping me rearrange the interior design of my apartment.
Without having to buy anything new, I was able to greatly improve the look of my space. In other words, she kept my «safari theme» intact and only made it better.
She also assessed my overflowing closets and helped me organize that disaster. Clothes were grouped by season, and a ton of stuff was earmarked for charity.
Sam is a very creative and talented interior designer, and I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
