Ordered food from this place and it never came. They charged my card, too. When I called, the phone rang until someone finally picked up long enough to hang up the receiver. Don’t trust this place– I wouldn’t risk ordering from them.

Not great. We went in with our nephew because the reviews said it would be good for children and there was music videos playing that were pretty much soft core porn playing on the tv. Their garlic knots were dry and overlooked and had almost a full clove of garlic per knot. If I want to eat straight garlic I don’t want to pay that much for them. The only reason it’s getting as many stars as it does is that we’ve ordered from them on Seamless a few times and it’s gone pretty well. There are much better options in the neighborhood.

Ordered two gyros and a salad; subpar at best. Ordered a pizza last week and it was underwhelming. There is better in the area.

Fast delivery. Good pizza. The salads are always super fresh. They usually try to work with you to customise your order.

This place bites! The idiots running the place are not only stupid, but totally incompetent. Our order was 45 mins late and when I called to ask where it was they were rude and blunt. Told me order not ready yet and this was on a Tuesday night at around 8pm, so not high peak. No sorry or offer to make things right. Plenty of places to order from so lose the chip you clowns.

Great pizza for the price. They have other Italian dishes too which aren’t so bad just needs a little more seasoning but once again it’s pretty good for the price.

Firstly, this place is called Salute Pizza now. If I could have, I would have given this 2.5 stars. I felt 2 stars was too harsh, but 3 stars might be slightly overshooting. I have mostly had pizza from here. The pizza is decent if you get it fresh. If the slices have been sitting around a while, not so good. The sandwiches are ok. I have had eggplant parm and chicken parm. The calzones are ok and the strombolli I would pass on. The prices are great. you can get a small cheese pizza for $ 5. That is the way to go so you get it fresh. Its plenty to feed 2 people and maybe even have a slice or two left over. Overall, there isn’t really any good pizza here so this is good enough for the area and I go here fairly frequently because of the convenience and the prices.

This used to be «Pizza Delia II», but is now called«Salute». My boyfriend and I pop in here frequently for a slice. The place is very small, but cozy, and the food is consistently tasty. Nice thin, crisp crust, like a good NY slice should be. We’re definitely fans!

Best pizza in the heights, but that’s not saying much. Since moving here, I haven’t found that many choices in food or, rather, GOOD choices in food. I tried about 5 different pizza places until I found a place that had pizza that didn’t taste like dry, uncooked cheese bread. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced menu, then this is your place. I’ve tried the pizza, calzone, salad, garlic knots-they’re all okay. They always make the pizza exactly the way you order it, and if you want sauce or something on the side, they’ll provide. Other places in this area don’t even take special order instructions seriously. They just do what they want. Not this place. Not only is the food pretty decent(and cheap!), delivery wait time is fast. In 30 mins or less you should be enjoying your yummy pizza. I’ve ordered from this place multiple times and will continue to do so until I move out of the area.

Not bad for a dollar slice, the inside is really interesting, old fashioned seating and fun pictures

2 words. Dollar Slices. 3 words. Good Dollar Slices. Not much more needs to be said. Probably the best dollar slices uptown. Pretty quick turnover, so slices are pretty fresh. If you get two dollar slices, its bigger then the 2.25 slice. So you do the math. They also make their sandwich bread from their pizza dough. And they sell the bread by itself too. I’m tempted to try next time. BTW I think they changed their name to Salute Pizza.

The sauce is a little sweet, but there is a lot of cheese, and the crust is light and crunchy. One time I didn’t care much for the sausage, another time I wasn’t impressed by the meatballs, but the pepperoni has been great on multiple occasions, and when you order a pizza topped with ricotta they put a lot of it on, and it’s extremely delicious. The prices are very reasonable. The service is very friendly. The delivery is very fast. And for eating in, the wooden benches are comfortable.

Cheap but hit or miss. On Friday’s they make their pizza from Challah dough. Sweet and yellow pizza? Oi Papi!

For the price of 2 bucks(slice and drink) nothing can really taste bad… it hits the spot when I’m looking for something close and cheap. Pies go by the general rule of a buck a slice.

Good cheap pizza. One of the few remaining places that sells a slice AND a medium soda for two bucks.
