I absolutely adore this salon. It’s got a great boutique-​like feeling, as it isn’t one of those salons with 20 pedicure chairs and double that in manicure stations. Instead, it’s more intimate and they take amazing care of you. They really took their time with my gel mani and pedi. I feel so pampered! So glad I came across this salon (this was my second time going). I’ll never go anywhere else!

So GLAD that we now have a salon that is eco friendly ! Just tried out the new ZOYA all natural nail polish –mani & pedi, which I love and lasted for 2 weeks ! YEAH — and who says you need to do a gel manicure to last .
Gzima and her staff are expectionally friendly, great atmosphere, and very affordably priced.
I am a customer for life !

Gzime Leka is one of the most talented hairdressers and colorists (I’m told) in NYC. Her clients are some of the most well respected beautiful people (men and woman) in Finance, fashion and entertainment. I have been going to Gzime for nearly 20 yrs and cannot recommend her more highly. She recently opened her own salon on 83rd St and Columbus Ave in NYC.

Gzime has been cutting my hair for decades. I’ve had long hair, short hair and even colored hair at one point. She knows exactly how to perfect and fix any mistakes, made by a previous hairdresser. She and everyone that works in the salon are great people to be around. The men’s manicures are fantastic. I get my nails buffed and they always look great. If you are in the Upper West Side I recommend you try it out. You will definitely keep coming back.

Love this place! The owner, Gzime, is so sweet and amazing at what she does. The salon is clean and welcoming. The manis and pedis are amazing and you leave feeling on top of the world.

Definitely a step up from the previous salon in this spot. Immaculate, quiet, welcoming, elegant. The pedicure was thorough and competent, although their prices are fairly steep. I’ll probably go back to sample the other services, including haircuts and waxing.

This place is the best. I have never been inspired to do a review for my hair cut ’till now. Salon G83 is an awesome place to get a cut. Gzime knows exactly what to do and always gives me a perfect hair cut. I’m totally spoiled now and can’t go anywhere else. It’s a comfortable and friendly and pristine atmosphere. I totally recommend it.

This is a fantastic salon, in an area with a real dearth of clean, professional places. I was up in the 80s and looking to get a pedicure, and Unilocal pointed me toward this place. It is phenomenal. The owner was lovely and fit me in right away. It is clean, well designed, and the technician gave me the best pedicure I’ve had. It is simple, but gives the vibe of being almost like a spa. I don’t do pedicures normally so don’t know if it was expensive (cost around $ 37) but it was worth it for the experience and result. They also give you wine if you want it!
I’ve had such weird salon experiences on the upper west; this will now be my go to when I find myself in the area. I am very careful about salons because I’m sort of a clean freak, and G83 meets every standard and then some. Comfortable, friendly, clean, accommodating — I highly highly recommend.

Gzime has been in control of my tresses for more than a decade. (And Yan before that!) I love this new spot. It’s bright, clean, and welcoming. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely and the prices are appropriate for New York and for the established reputations of the stylists who work here.
I wish I’d left more time to get a mani/​pedi when I was here last. Great to know those services are on site.
It feels cozy and familial. I’m a happy customer!

Classy, elegant and smart. This salon offers excellent service and up to date tools. But that’s not all, it’s cleanliness is beyond par from disposable liners for the foot spa tub to the spotless space. Highly recommend for a relaxing, and impeccable manicure and pedicure while gaining stylish hair as well.

I got a gel manicure and a pedicure. It was a great experience and best I’ve had in the neighborhood so far. They were quick but thorough. My nails feel clean and well kept and the polish is painted close to the nail bed. Good value for such a clean salon and proficient kind staff. The owner was also very gracious and accommodating. I look forward to making this my go to spot for nails and a blowout.

Yan is truly the best hair stylist there is. I’ve stayed loyal for over 20 years and he also styled my hair on my wedding day. Yan also cuts my niece’s hair and she has never received more compliments on her hair. She will never let anyone but Yan cut her hair.
