I struggle with basal cell carcinoma and Dr G was amazing in removing so that I still have a normal nose/nostril. Maybe he’s not Brad Pitt in the charm dept but he’s an amazing doctor. Of course he travels with a posse of trainees — they stitched me up and talked about a TV show called Naked and Afraid. So you’re exposed to modern culture during treatment.

Saw Dr. Geronemus in May and Septembe for benign skin tumors and oil glands. He was patient and explained my conditions, which enabled me to feel less self conscious about my breakouts. Because of his kindness I am less critical about my ongoing skin disorders. Dr. GERONEMUSIS A THOROUGHANDCARINGDOCTOR. I AMRELIEVEDTOHAVE A DR. WHOCARESABOUTMEASHISPATIENTANDAS A PERSONWITHFEELINGS. I WOULDDEFINITELYRECOMMENDHIM because he is excellant.

Went to Dr. Geromenus for a small scar I have on my knee. He came into the room really abruptly, as if he was in a real hurry to go somewhere else. He didn’t introduce himself. I had to ask him myself just to be sure. He brought in a medical student with him which made me very uncomfortable. I showed him the scar and asked what kind of treatment he would recommend. He told me that nothing would work on me because I have dark skin. Then he left. He spend no more than 5 minutes with me. He left very quickly, as if he had somewhere more important to be. The medical student gave me an uncomfortable smile. As if he knew I wasn’t treated right. I paid $ 250 for the«consultation». He should be ashamed to treat patients like this.

I went to Dr Geronemus – ugh, BIG mistake. Dealing with him was like being in a hit-and-run accident: fast, ugly, abrupt, and disorienting. I had heard great things about him and maybe it was true about him in the past. But he missed a lot of spots on my skin for a procedure that I paid for. So I still had my original problem, only my wallet was a lot lighter after. I felt like he was only about money and patient volume, with not an iota of concern for patient care. Amazing they allow guys like this be doctors. Take your hard-earned money and go elsewhere to find a doctor who is thorough, caring, and professional.

When with my mother to have a blood vessel lasered. To say his bedside manner was brusque is an understatement, saw him for less than five minutes, my mother was a little put off, but I’d heard he was the best. IT took several visits but the results have been great. All in all, you wait quite a while for an appointment and it’s expensive but the results are there…

The gold standard for Fraxel in NYC. With accolades like New York Magazine’s Best Doctors in New York 13 times and White’s Best Doctors in America and in Town & Country’s Best Cosmetic Surgeons, you can’t go wrong. He’s not cheap but gets results. IMO his professional manner and gentle hand makes it all worth it. The staff are friendly and efficient. My treatment(Fraxel refine) was painless and took 5 minutes to perform. Be prepared to wait with numbing cream for at least an hour.
