Perfect spot after a long day. Extra large flat breads were stuffed with flavor. Good wine and beer list.

Great cozy wine bar near AMNH/Central Park. Always a pleasant experience when we visit. The food was also good – enjoyed the truffle panini, selection of cheeses, and flatbreads over the last few visits.

If you want gourmet pizza and wine, come here. Really cute place. They had a small menu, but a nice amount of options. Don’t forget to use your 30% off check in for a bottle of wine! Their reisling was good. I ordered the mushroom pizza and added prosciutto. SO yummy. I had leftovers, too. As an appetizer we got the sweet soppressata with grilled bread. Also very good. I would recommend.

Wine was very good(and the 30% discount from Unilocal for a bottle was nice), but food was just so-so. I asked the waiter if the Soppresata pizza would have enough meat, or if I should order some add-ons, and he assured me that the pizza would have enough sausage to be satisfactory. That was definitely wrong. The pizza only had extremely thin and wispy slices of the sausage and it was overpowered by the taste of caramelized sweet onions. There was a good amount of mozzarella and tomato sauce– so the overall taste wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t what I wanted or prefer. We left, still pretty hungry– but not dissatisfied, because the price was decent and the server was nice enough.

We love this neighborhood wine bar. Menu is limited but this is a good thing as it has all the things you’d want at a true wine bar. Some other places say wine bar but are actually just restaurants. All the flatbreads are excellent and the service is great. Great wines and something for everybody.

Not sure if something was up in the kitchen while I was here, but restaurant had greasy burnt smell. I assume it’s always this way since the server never mentioned it and they didn’t seem bothered enough to try and open the door to vent the room. Food and ambience was lackluster.

Great spot! This small hole in the wall is great — the food is delicious and the service is awesome. The pear tartine and the margarita pizza with some wine was the perfect mid afternoon nosh for the end of an afternoon in the park. A lot of the table inside are high tops, so it’s probably better for friends than a fresh relationship looking for something intimate, but the tables outside are great :)

Decent wine selection but food is just meh. The peene a la vodka was a little too al dente and the sauce was watered down. The thin crust pizzas were good, but the panini was too much bread. The malbec we got was good and the server was helpful with his suggestions, even if he seemed a bit aloof.

Excellent wine selection, great food, and amazing service.( Unilocal’s 30% off one bottle of wine certainly adds to the draw!) Try the mushroom flatbread — so good!

The mushroom onion goat cheese pizza was outstanding. Service was great. Just 2 blocks from Central Park. The Bloody Mary tasted like it was made with all very fresh ingredients.

Cute place and great wine selection, but paying 20 dollars for a flatbread is ridiculous. The flatbreads are large and tasty, but still, it’s a flatbread. This is really NOT a dinner place by any means and more of a tapas/wine bar place. I should have read the reviews more thoroughly but for some reason had the impression that it was also a dinner place. Dim lighting so it’s good for dates. Service — meh. Water was empty most of the meal. We had two waiters come by at different points and one was nice and the other was annoyingly curt/short in his responses… There is definitely room for improvement in this area. I wouldn’t hesitate to drop by again for a glass of wine but definitely will skip the food here next time.

My parents and I were in NYC for the marathon and were staying right around the corner from this cute place. We came in here on our first night and got some snacks and some wine. The skirt steak bruschetta was delicious, but a little challenging to eat. The Prosciutto di Parma flatbread was excellent. It is a great little neighborhood joint and I would likely return if I find myself back in the Upper West Side in the future.

Great location close to Museum of Natural History. There are great happy hour deals on the flatbreads and wines. Cozy restaurant with bar seating, regular tables, and a large high table in the center of the small restaurant that may be shared between multiple parties. The seafood pasta is very fresh and savory. The flatbreads are also great choices. They provide you with a pizza cutter to cut your own slices, which I thought was pretty cool!

Wanted a light dinner in a cozy atmosphere on a cold fall evening. Lots of wine bars to choose from in the area, though this place seemed the least packed(with good reviews as well). While the Unilocal check-in offers a 30% off discount on a bottle, we weren’t going to drink that much, so decided to get a glass of red each($ 10 a pop). For food, settled on the Mushroom Bruschetta($ 12) and a Gouda Cheese Plate($ 9). Thought all this would come to be some late snacks with wine, but turned out to be a meal on it’s own. The«bruschetta» comes as two large grilled slices of bread with a hefty scoop of sauteed mushrooms on top. Delicious and with just the right amount of parmesan on top. The gouda plate came with grapes, fig spread, apricots, walnuts and a baguette. Significant meal that left us satisfied. Price is right for a wine bar and the atmosphere is great for a date night. Would like to try the pizza as well.

My wife and I have been coming here for years for Saturday morning brunches. It’s one of the best kept secrets on the West Side! We dined here again today before heading to Broadway. My wife loves the pancakes with berries and I had the Riposo French Toast. We’re never disappointed in the quality of the food, it’s always delicious! The $ 5 Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas are always nice too! We will be back again soon. I highly recommend Riposo 72!

This is kinda the best place ever. It takes both my MileagePlus and RapidRewards dining account promotions and with Unilocal,I get 30 percent off a bottle of wine! It’s right near my work so it’s easy to get to with friends afterwards and their food is as to die for as the wine. Get the gouda mac and cheese. You won’t be sorry. It’s delicious and rich and creamy and flavorful. The flatbreads are good too. There are a few I want to try that I haven’t yet. The portions are huge so keep that in mind when you’re ordering. I will keep coming back here for their excellent food, romantic atmosphere and wonderful but discounted wine!

Been going to Riposo 46 for years, and that is one of my all time favorite spots to go to. But a friend and I met up here the other night. The menu is the same, same relaxed atmosphere & great/friendly service. We sat at the bar & got the Bianco flat bread and the pasta special with seafood. Hit the spot. This location is bigger though. So more suitable for groups if necessary.

Riposo teeters between three and four stars. While all the food we ordered(flatbread, olives, cheese plate, two glasses of wine) were all great — the flatbread was actually quite good, the atmosphere really underwhelmed me. On a Saturday night, it was pretty much empty inside and a few people, including us, sitting outside on their tiny patio area. Just a note on the food, I do not like my olives served hot — who does that? I was really surprised when I took a bite of my olive and it was hot. You should also know that this is a wine bar and their menu is quite limited(to mostly flatbreads) so if you’re really hungry or want real Italian food, you should go somewhere else. If you just want some light fare with a glass of wine, then you’ll be fine here. Service was alright. I would rate the food at 4 stars, but ambiance gets a three.

3.5 stars. Friendly, intimate spot on the Upper West Side that’s a pretty easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. Came here on a Sunday night for a late dinner and it was actually so empty that I thought it was closed initially. We chose to sit outside, but the interior is like most wine bars — dimly lit, romantic, good date material — all that good stuff. Unfortunately, I cannot speak for the flatbreads here. We decided to share a few small plates and we weren’t feeling pizza in the moment. It all looked quite good though — if I come back here to order pizza, expect an updated review. Nice wine selection, nothing particularly noteworthy. I ordered a Rioja which paired very nicely with everything we ordered. TIP: If you check in here on Unilocal, you get 30% off a bottle of wine. Thank you Unilocal for always being there for me, I love you. Also not much to say about the service — it was a bit slow maybe, but we were outside and there during an off time. Not a deal breaker. For food, we got: the grilled asparagus(w/Prosciutto di parma, Parmesan, truffle oil), the ceviche(shrimp, calamari, mussels, scallops, toasted baguette) and the mussels(prepared w/tomato and basil in a white wine broth). All of this was quite tasty! It’s hard to mess up that kind of asparagus preparation — plus, they had me at truffle oil. The ceviche was light and refreshing. Nothing particularly special about it. Same goes for the mussels. Not the best I’ve had, but they were still very good. And thank you Riposo for serving both the ceviche and mussels with generous portions of warm baguette. The sauces(soups? baths? not sure what the correct term is for what seafood preparations such as these«sit» in…) in both of these dishes was incredibly flavorful and made for plenty of joyous baguette-dipping. Never underestimate the power of a warm baguette, friends. While the food was solid here, I can’t justify four stars. I’ve ordered food at a number of different wine bars on the UWS(Vino Levantino, Bueco 95, Osteria Cotta, etc. etc.) and the food there is just plain better. BUT this happens to be in a prime location — not much else around it other than your typical Columbus Ave. chain stores, so it’s certainly one of your best options in this immediately area.

HOORAY!!! So happy to find this place on the Upper West side! Its a perfect location if you are coming from up or downtown! The SERVICE is so great! We loved our waitress! When I came here with my BFF and we were a little giddy and excited and probably flighty but our waitress was so nice to us even when we moved from outdoor to indoor seating! Everything tasted great and the drinks were amazing!!! GREATPRICES and great value!!! They also have a deal on Unilocal right now so I don’t know what you are waiting for!
