I really like the atmosphere in this great little place. It has nice indoor and outdoor seating, and there’s almost always a lot of people here. I’ve eaten the torpedo pita and the burger, and they are great. The zucchini chips are a great appetizer. I guess there’s nothing wrong with the prices, but it’s definitely not cheap.

Corner Location on Mott and Elizabeth with big windows(open in good weather) makes this a great spot to people watch. The food selection is limited but always good. Most recently I enjoyed their cauliflower turmeric soup. There are vegan options. My favorite cocktail is the spicy margarita. I think you’ll enjoy the feel of this space, it’s not overly concerned with décor. It’s a Nolita bar with efficient service and tasty offerings, a place where you can spend a lot of time just enjoying being in the moment, unless it’s busy and they need your table. That’s one reason I like it best when I can get there before the brunch rush begins.

Great environment! Came in with a large group on a weekday night, and they could seat us right away. We had the fried zucchini chips which was so sooo good(and that spicy feta!!!). Both the burger and the beef pita was good, but nothing extraordinary. Maybe a tiny bit expensive for what you get. Nice to have the option to choose between chips and fresh salad(both were good!). Beer on tap comes in very small glasses. Decent cocktail menu. Service was good and not to pushy.

Came here on a Wednesday night and it was packed! More on the loud side, which is to be expected. Dinners are large, lunch, not so much. For dinner I had the Linguine, which was average. It wasn’t particularly good or anything. For lunch, I had the Avocado Toast. As someone who loves Avocado Toast and eats it regularly, whether home made or out for brunch, I was extremely disappointed. First off, it was extremely tiny and not for $ 10. Secondly, it was sour and had no avocado taste. Definitely do not reccommend.

Love this restaurant! Came here on a rainy saturday for an early dinner. I ordered the spicy cucumber margarita which was delicious, although it had a bit too much ice so i was drinking watery margarita for the majority of it. I ordered the mushroom risotto which was delicious! My friend ordered the pomodoro dish which was also delicious, and our other friend ordered the burrata appetizer. Our service was great and I love the environment. I’ll have to come back and try other items from the menu: the grilled octopus dish looked delicious and their cocktail selection had a few I wanted to try.

I stumbled upon this little gem on Spring Street! I usually go to the Vig Bar but this might be my new little neighborhood spot. Super cute bartender, the ambience is right on. The Zucchini Chips and Grilled Octopus are a perfect start to ones night with a glass of vino.

The place is nice and crowded. Had the mushroom risotto with truffle olive oil. $ 19, salty, rice was too soft but ok.

The worst service in nyc! Very unfriendly waitress with a super annoying attitude. After we set it took them 20 mins to only fill the water. Lunch time during a weekday, there were only 3 – 4 other tables. 2 stars are only for the food which was good but nothing special. I asked to take the left over and got a very angry weird look from the same same waitress. She almost kicked us out. Im never going back to this place and I definitely don’t recommend to any one! Especially so many other options with so much better service in Soho!

Came here on a first date. I loved the atmosphere immediately! Romantic lighting, cozy décor. We were seated right away next to an open window. The Cabernet Franc was delicious. We both had the shrimp salad – some of the BEST shrimp I’ve ever had. The service was excellent as well. I was impressed by my date’s pick, and I can’t wait to go back!

George, The king of bartending, can be found at RinTinTin. This was a great and random bar find with an amazing bar-keep running the ship. George’s style is that of Tom Cruise from«Cocktail», but minus the 80’s cheese. I must have watched this drink master make like 15 drinks in about 5 minutes; specialty shots, craft cocktails, a few gimlets, and all with perfect measurements. I tried my fiancé’s vodka press and it was delicious! Now look, I know what you’re thinking, «Vodka press?, not impressive», but instead of using Sprite or 7up George only added lime juice with a splash of Ginger Ale. So refreshing! This place seems like it belongs in Miami or Havana with it’s bright white walls and«dancey» house music that rattles the bones. Need a non-fussy night cap spot? Belly up, because you’ve found it!

Lovely place to have a coffee or drink in the afternoon. Very nice décor with a La Habana/Miami art deco vibe. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming always attentive. I recommend sitting on one of the booths on the back since it’s more quiet and it feels like you are in a bar in the 20’s. The location is perfect to dine out or just have a few drinks before heading to a dinner or party. In the heart of Nolita and close to the scene.

Disclaimer: Rafael is amazing, and whatever this failing establishment can do to keep him, they should do. And then some. Arrived at 8:45 on a Friday, immediately seated. Ordered a drink and a mezze plate($ 17). Drinks came in 10 – 15. Mezze took a long time, and when it arrived it was sad. Fast forward an hour, nobody stopped to take our dinner order or, at minimum, our second drink order. The octopus was okay, although the«aioli» was mayonnaise. And it was served with potatoes? Bizarre. Apparently the quinoa was good if you are into that kind of thing. Anyway, our waiter kept saying«sorry the kitchen was backed up» when he dropped things off and then would proceed to not come back for 30 – 45 minutes. This is Rintintin, not Vandal. blah.

Can’t speak for the food(haven’t tried it), but when it comes to drinks and atmosphere, this place is awesome. Even on typical drinking nights there are usually two seats at the bar and that, coupled with the great drinks(try the spicy margarita or cider) make it a solid spot for a date. Bar service and music are both good as well.

The charming candlelit interior welcomed us on a rainy New York night and the ambiance and décor of the neighborhood café suited the intimate mood of Three old friends in desperate need of catching up. They thoroughly enjoyed the evening with a few decent glasses of wine and very good simple food. The kebab was delicious(no fusion or complicated dishes here) and the burger was equally as good(awesome potato wedges) and we loved the Chicken Tagine. The almond cake was the perfect finishing touch. Thanks Rintintin!

This is a delicious venue with great service. Walked in at 8pm on a saturday after being rudely treated at a place around the corner, we were immediately seated, and everything we ordered was delicious and reasonable. Highly recommend !!

Food was good, not exceptional, not delicious just good. It was really pricy but I guess it’s to expect in the neighborhood. What really bumped me was the service. Usually, I’m not picky about service at all. No need to be extra polite or anything but our waitress was beyond impolite. She was the rudest She rushed us during our all meal so we could pick a drink and a dish. Then when we asked for the dessert menu she basically told us that she needed the table for other people. Incredible I’ve never seen customers being asked to rush for others while they are still eating. It ruined the night and the experience.

RINTINTIN… Great food. Great little place in a great neighbourhood. Eaten here twice and each time I loved the food. The hot cider is a must have. Only knock on this place is the servers need some attitude readjustment. If they removed the pole from their backsides my experience would be 5 star.

We went for a late dinner last night. and it was delicious! I got the vegetable tangine, and my group shared the Zucchini(& eggplant) chips and Burrata. The vegetables were perfectly cooked in my tangine, and it was a perfect hearty but not too heavy late summer meal. The service was great and the atmosphere whisked me away from the hustle and bustle of NYC.

I read about Rintintin and heard wonderful things so I made it a priority to come check it out. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed — don’t get me wrong, this place is not horrible(hence the 3 stars) but it didn’t meet my expectations. I came here for lunch on a random weekday. It was pretty empty at the time with maybe only one other table taken. It’s advertised as «Mediterranean» but I found it more Italian American. It had a slightly diner-like feel to it as we stepped in. And I did find the service great here. However, the prices were more than I would want to spend for lunch and the food quality was A-Ok, especially given the dinero I’m putting down. Also, compared to other restos in the area, this place could’ve done better.

A group of us stopped into Rintintin on a Friday afternoon around 4pm. Most of us were just grabbing a drink, and one friend ordered food. There were tons of open tables, but when we were seated, I still felt like the server wasn’t happy we weren’t all ordering food. I opted for the spicy cucumber margarita. It was both fiery and refreshing – my kind of drink! I didn’t check out the food menu, but some of our friends really love the place, so I’m sure it’s good. The server wasn’t very attentive, and we had empty drinks and an empty plate for a considerable amount of time before we had to flag her down for our check.
