Besides the exceptionally friendly service that I received from Joseph, the special products here make me want to tell all my friends! It is just what Harlem has been missing. Perfect for unique holiday gifts with a personal touch.

Tucked into the rear of The Astor Rowe Café is the guest display you can find. Vintage country stove and refrigerator are part of the display. There is variety of gourmet goodies to sink your teeth into. A must visit.

Hand picked curated products are what you will find at this tiny, but tasty gourmet pantry. I love the caramel corn with curry, fresh ketchup, Chai peanut butter and other delicious snacks and condiments.

There is nothing like this in Harlem. I dare you to find it. You’re entertaining friends and you wanna serve a few unique nibblies. Where do you go? No one is in the mood to schlepp all the way down to Williams Sonoma right? Here’s what you do. Visit this cute little gourmet pantry. You can get some really cool chocolates and decadent cheese straws(I ate the whole damn box!!) or an assortment of Moravian cookies(YUM!). Mr Riley is an expert in «fancy food». I’m so glad to find this place. Right now it’s new. Get with it now before it becomes one of those trendy places where you have to take a number.

I stopped by this pop-up shop(Riley Land Gourmet) based on a suggestion from . It’s in the back of a café on Lenox Blvd and 130th(I think it’s called Astor Row Café), so you really need to know it’s there to find it. The guy running this is super friendly and very informed about the products he’s selling. The selection is small, but it’s obvious that a lot of thought went into what they sell. Everything seems top quality, which is great for this neighborhood because there’s nowhere else to get high quality and imported items like this. He has olive oil, dulce de leche, a few kinds of peanut butter, snacks, etc. I was offered a few samples and decided on 3 boxes of cookies(different flavors). I was surprised to find that credit cards are OK. Thank you! All in all, a really welcome addition to Harlem. I think I’ll eat all these cookies by the week’s end, so I’ll probably be back. Yeay!

I stopped by Joseph Riley Land’s Gourmet Pantry pop-up shop that recently opened late last week and I was floored! The pantry is made up of carefully selected items that you would find in Joe’s kitchen. He stands by everything that his shop sells 100%. The Gourmet Pantry represents so many regions as far as Argentina and as close as New Jersey. This shop is all Joe — an eclectic blend of tastes that suits all of your kitchen needs from balsamic vinaigrette, wide array of artisanal sweets, red peppers, butters, grits and so much more. And this is only the beginning! I’m in awe by Joe’s tenacity to see his vision become a reality and am looking forward to seeing his brand at local markets across the city as well as the shop’s special events coming in the near future.
