Basely, the food they made is East & North Chinese food. The taste is like homemade. Very good !!!

Nothing fancy but the food was excellent. The steamed dumplings were tasty and not doughy. The Pork ribs in brown sauce were well cooked and tender. Finally the Steamed Croaker was perfectly cooked and well flavored. A nice alternative off the beaten path in flushing.

It’s a small cozy restaurant with only about 10 tables and simple renovation. I recommend people who like to eat spice to come here because most of their menu is spicy food(yay for me too!) The price is pretty cheap for BIG portion. I went with 1 other friend and we ordered Shui Zhu Yu(spicy fish casserole) and it came out to $ 15 with plenty of fish and vegetables! Likes: Flavor, price, portions, Need Improvement: Noisy, slightly crammed tables, good for group not for intimate dining

So they don’t speak English at all, and some of the stuff is a bad translation — that being said, the food is very good. First time there I had the kimchi fried rice which was delicious and very korean. I also had the«shark belly». This was a terrible translation. It was actually a bunch of fish stomachs sauteed in peppers. Very delicious! Interesting chewy texture and the fish absorbed the heat of the peppers well. It was spicy but not overpoweringly so. Second time there, I had something from off the wall, a special of the day. This was definately a Chinese dish, not a korean one. Chicken cubes and hot peppers with a side of rice and of course some korean banchan. The food really hit the spot and the chicken was tender and juicy.

RiFu represents the cuisine of Yanbian, an autonomous ethnic Korean prefecture in Jilin, China. The menu is extensive, and while it shares some similarities with other Korean-Chinese restaurants, there is ample uniqueness for an interesting ride. For instance: Shark belly(highly recommended)! Aplysia! White kimchi noodles! Fantastic fresh rice cakes! And they have a cauldron of goat!
