Linguine with Clams, fresh, delicious, great service, nice little place. Reasonable prices. OUTSTANDING.

I LOVE this place, why? I finished a MIMOSA!!! My second alcoholic drink that I’ve ever finished. Unfortunately, this was the only place where I can finish a MImosa :( I went there with my friend on a weekday for brunch. Love the carrot purée. I believe i ordered the … omelet with salmon and cream cheese? I tried my friend’s drink; bloody mary, did not like it: x I must say, out of all the places I’ve been to for brunch, this was the cheapest place to go to that comes with a drink! Soup, entrée and a drink, for just $ 11.95 !!! Come on!

Stumbled yon this place on Valentine’s Day after the original restaurant that we were going to fell through last minute – and so glad that we did. The place was adorable and homey with twinkle lights throughout both rooms and a small electric fireplace and quaint bar. Got seated right away and indulged in an excellent three course meal, wine, and martinis. Ricardo made our evening! Great service and he was so helpful and was happy to alter a few menu items to our liking. Would definitely go back and recommend.

We really enjoyed the food, the specials were amazing. Ambiance was a little low key for a Saturday.

Called during the day and was able to secure 8pm reservations for a birthday dinner. Although the table wasn’t ready, they immediately placed two tables together for my party of 5. We were immediately offered the staple — bread and water; asked if we wanted a drink and an appetizer. Afterwards we ordered a delicious dinner and wine. They still had their Christmas decorations up, which made it very festive and quaint. It’s a small restaurant, but very deceiving because of the mirror in the back, which gives the illusion of larger space. The birthday was very pleased with the restaurant and said he will definitely bring a date. I will also revisit. No complaint about my food, except my greedy brother, who is a cheapskate, felt his portion should’ve been double in size. LOL

For the most part a solid three which is what the rating was when we ate from here but I ordered the Bresaola which was cheap and absolutely disgusting(deserving of a 1. And probably my fault for ordering a raw beef appetizer from a 3 star restaurant) … Anyway the pastas we got(I had a carbonara and my friend had a tomato basil pasta) were solid 3s … With all the good food around I wouldn’t go here again.

Was very pleasantly surprised by this unassuming place … great food and bar scene. Nice neighborhood atmosphere… wish I had discovered it sooner

Actually, I had a great time here. Didn’t have any of the food, so I can’t speak to that, but we did have a few of their mixed cocktails. Tasty, not too sweet, and the Bartender was incredibly friendly. Don’t know if I’d go back; not a huge fan of Italian food, but if I’m looking for moderately priced drinks($ 10-$ 12) and free condoms, you could do worse!

I live in the area. I have been in Manhattan for a year from miami. This place was PERFECT! For me to take the time to do this… Food was real Italian service was great, all in I give it a 10. Quiet, quaint and great. Enjoy. #inspire

Fuzzy… cute in bears, not in bread baskets. I swear the basket that the bread came in was moldy. In the low light, it wasn’t easy to see, but fuzzy would be the word that comes to mind. Unfortunately, that was not the only below par item of the night. The Pinot Grigio served by the glass was definitely not worth the $ 9 price tag. And spicy is not what comes to mind when you order shrimp scampi.(On a side note, I love spicy food, but this was not shrimp fra diavolo.) My mother’s dish was declared okay, which made it the highlight of the meal. Let’s just say I will not be back. There’s so many great restaurants in NY, there’s just no reason to patronize whatever is going on here.

Ate here at a sidewalk table on a Friday night. We ordered the calamari appetizer, a half carafe of red wine, and for my entrée I had the chicken special with spinach and cheese. The food is very traditional Italian, no spaghetti and meatballs on the menu, which is nice. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and the food. However I do not anticipate returning since the food did not agree with my stomach.

I swear if you’re thinking about walking another block and hitting up Olive Garden… Don’t you dare! This food is real Italian food. Their Prix Fix lunch menu is one of the best deals in Chelsea. Everything was piping hot just how I like it. The salad was unbelievale I wish I could eat it every day. The service and staff are sweethearts! This place has a great location too! What it’s lacking however is an upgrade. It’s look a bit rundown but still classy. Try it out

Nothing spectacular, but good cozy environment and nice brunch options, particularly in a neighborhood that often gets inordinately crowded on those occasions. Try the salmon with hollandaise or one of their large salads(also with salmon, though they can substitute chicken for it).

This is the best meal I had in New York. The atmosphere was very low key, and the waitstaff was amazing. They didn’t rush us, yet they were always available whenever we needed them. The food was excellent. I ordered gnocchi, and my wife had ravioli. I recommend both. She also ordered wine, and the meal came with fresh bread. For the two of us plus an excellent dessert, it was less than $ 100 – including 25% tip. I’ll eat here every time I visit NYC.

Ended up here while looking for a warm and inviting place for dinner with a friend. Loved how quaint and quiet it is. I recommend their grilled portobello mushroom and zucchini fries with marinara sauce– they were beautifully done and absolutely delicious. Just two things I wanted to point out. One — our server was a little strange. He was borderline rude and condescending towards me and openly flirting with my friend. It seemed funny but lacking in professionalism. We were also served some stale tiramisu for desert– we got that replaced with an apple desert– which was served with an ice-cream that nearly burned my throat off with raw cinnamon. I didn’t scrimp on the tip– but I will think twice about coming back here. It was an experience that felt uncomfortable because of the service and the stale desert.(Makes you wonder about all the other questionable kitchen practices)

Walked in for a lunch date on 12⁄30 by chance. I had the four cheese pasta and my date had the chicken parm. We also had an order of garlic bread. All three dishes were tasty, particularly my dish. If you’re in the neighborhood I would suggest checking it out. I’m sure I’ll pop back in.

A low-key, non-trendy spot for a decent dinner. The food and service won’t wow you, but the ingredients seemed fresh and the meal arrived hot. We had the almond crusted Sole and the Chicken Marsala as well as house salads and red wine. Quiet on a Tuesday night during the holiday season. A welcomed change from the thumpy bass of nightclub-esque restaurant spots in the neighborhood. Seems to cater to an older crowd, which is quaint. Menu leans towards seafood pastas and such.

super cute, old school, they don’t rush you, place is cozy and they go over the top with décor for all holidays, Rolf’s Chelsea rival sans the wait and hype. kind of place where they can really just make you whatever dish you’d like, and we enjoyed everything we had! come here!

The food was ok. I’ve had better Italian food for a comparable price. I had dinner here, maybe the lunch is better. After I paid the bill(tip was automatic since we were a big party) and asked the waiter to take our picture, he said $ 5 for one pic. I expressed disbelief and as soon as I said ok forget it, he said he was joking but no one in my family laughed. This ain’t Times Square! And I already paid a tip! It seems like the place is authentic Italian, the décor feels that way, but the food doesn’t come up to par.

Found this place on Unilocal!(whoo hoo!) and thought I’d give it a try. the atmosphere was literally Cheers-like«…where everybody knows your name». the place was small enough to give off that vibe. but as a new patron walking in, it did not make it very comfortable. You know — people talking back and forth, on top of you and whatnot. it was more like a popular social event and you are the outcast school nerd LOL The waiters(and even the cooks) deserve FIVE+ stars for service and being so nice. But I am NOT okay with the owner being very casual — no initial greeting and no thanking you have a nice day at the end. I felt that as an owner(or even an owner posing not to be an owner) you ought to make your customers feel that they should come back, no matter what. That is really not hard to ask for. The food was good = hence, the amt stars. But the leadership in that restaurant really needs work. The other staff were excellent and I really liked the food. Although, there were flaws, I think it is also fair to mention the positives, as well. Overall, for lunch this is an okay joint if you do not care for sitting in. Carrying out is also a good option. Or ignoring everything else and sitting outside to enjoy the day is also recommended.
