Appalling behavior by the manager — I was staying upstairs in the Millennium and needed a quick meal to take back to my room and continue working — she scolded me for ordering take out. It was a drive by sass attack and beyond rude. The place is also outdated and smells like a dive bar. And the take out meal I illegally obtained from her claws wasn’t great…

Went for breakfast. Food wasn’t bad, but definitely felt the breakfast buffet was not a good value for its cost.

I had a nosh at Charlotte’s, after a day in NYC. I had the beef sliders with fries and my companion has the baked mac n’ cheese. My sliders were juicy and cooked as I requested. The fires were tasty, albeit a bit scarse. My companion raved about here mac n’ cheese. It is a bit pricey($ 35 for two), but it is in an expensive hotel(Broadway Millenium) on Times Square.

Meh, what do you expect? It’s a café and lounge centered in the Millenium Hotal in the tourist trap Times Square area. Was here a few days ago for a business event and had a lunch meeting with a client here. Had a grilled chicken pesto sandwich. It wasn’t bad but for $ 16 is way overpriced. Seems like most of the lunch salads and sandwiches run in the $ 15 — $ 22 dollar range with the Big Apple Burger topping the list at $ 22! Really — for a burger with cheese? Service was ok and attentive enough. My sandwich tasted decent and the chicken was cooked just right. Still, the high prices of this place scream rip-off.

Are you kidding me, Charlotte? You’re really charging me $ 17 for Corned Beef Hash and Poached Eggs(see photo). Did you lay them yourself? I would have only paid that amount to see that act of exertion and if you include a Mexican cockfight as an encore. Good thing I was on an expense account when I came here in the early morning hours. I was too early to check into my hotel and way early for my first appointment in midtown Manhattan, so I ended up here across the street from my hotel. Never again will I go to a high-end hotel like the Millennium and expect a bargain breakfast. I begrudgingly ordered the above dish only to discover they are serving corned beef hash out of the can. There was nothing homemade about the hash, and the potatoes tasted packaged as well. Only the poached eggs were reasonably tasty. Needless to say, there was no Mexican cockfight to watch, so I scampered out of there rather quickly since I was soon surrounded by a large party of Bavarian tourists searching for their sauerbraten. Diner beware. FOOD — 2 stars… really mediocre breakfast for such a fancy hotel AMBIANCE — 2 stars… tables very crowded together, not much breathing room SERVICE — 2.5 stars… lots of staff hovering but not necessarily serving TOTAL — 2 stars… caught unwillingly in Charlotte’s web

I liked the loungey chairs and that you could easily watch the street scene, which included a patch eyed pirate. The waiter was sort of weird. And our Irish coffees were TOO strong. Ewww.

The food was not bad nor was the service bad. However the inflated prices were absolutely ridiculous! I know it’s NYC and a hotel restaurant but wow!!! I never paid do much for French toast and hot chocolate in my life. Go somewhere else.

Nice restaurant/lounge/bar in the Millennium Hotel to lounge around before or after a show. The drinks are pricey but the food is moderately priced. The Apple Martini was $ 15. We had the fried calamari, chicken quesadilla and flounder. They also serve breakfast in the restaurant. Service, food and ambiance are excellent.

My parents stayed here so they got some sort of free continental breakfast. The hotel even hooked it up and gave me a free breakfast as well. Wide variety of food, and they were willing to make eggs different styles other than the scrambled option available.

We were there midweek and were the only patrons during dinner. Located inside the Millennium Broadway Hotel, you may not realize it is a full service restaurant. Lots of business drinks were taking place in the lounge area. Dinner was nice and the service was exceptional.

I ate here in 2007, before my fiancé introduced me to Trattoria Tre Colori, my go-to restaurant in the Theatre District– I’d always been curious about the restaurant & hotel. I didn’t expect much and was so pleased with my meal! This is my 2nd favorite restaurant in the Theatre District. They’ve a wonderful wine list, yummy salads and savory chicken; the wait staff was gracious, even after our charming waiter spilled the au jus from my Chicken au Jus on my Loro Piana Horsey jacket. He was horrified, extremely apologetic and immediately got the manager to come over. They asked me to dry clean my jacket and promised to cover the cost, even after I told them it would be pricey, as Loro Piana solely recommends Perry Process Cleaners for their products. I am happy to say that Charlotte made good on their promise– they expedited a check to me for the full amount and they made a loyal customer… I will be back!

Never thought I’d be the first to review something in NYC! Ok, here goes. This is the bar inside of the Millennium Broadway. They have an exceedingly overpriced breakfast that we did not check out, and then they serve appetizers and drinks the rest of the time. We were staying in the hotel on our visit to NYC and went here several times to wind down before dinner or before bed. The prices for the drinks are extremely high, even by NYC standards, but they have a great selection of wines(including several varieties of port) and scotches, along with the usual stuff. Service was always very friendly and all mixed drinks were done well. We never had any food other than the trail mix or whatever they put out for you, but it sounded pretty good. Atmosphere was nice and quiet, the chairs were very comfortable, and I was kind of amused to see PBS on the TV one time we were there.(A friend of mine now wants us to open up a PBS-only bar. I don’t know how well that would do.) Check it out if you’re staying at the Millennium and are into the hotel bar thing.
