Came here a few times in the last few weeks and it seems to be closed! They have sign in the window that states they are closed due to a boiler problem, nothing to do with the restaurant itself. But, they had pretty good Margaritas, had a nice crisp flavor to them and had the Vegetable Burrito a few times, it was good. They have a Happy Hour too.

My good friend and I wandered in off the street and were so happy we made the right choice! Festive atmosphere(even on a Monday night). Happy Nachos and Sangria were Happy Hour Specials and they were both really good. Delicious nachos that were well-prepared! Big fruity glass of sangria was only $ 5! Had the shrimp fajitas and the whole dish was really good. I usually leave the rice and beans but even those were yummy! Reasonably priced and well-made food. Will definitely recommend and hopefully be back!

Simply put, shoulda been better, coulda been worse. My tacos(veggie) would have gotten them 5 stars if that’s all I took into consideration. When I get a drink I’d like it if you fill he glass up. Do not stop at the blue line on the glass. Put more ice in at the very least. Why aren’t chips, salsa and water just given? Why must they now be requested? I know this place isn’t the only place to do this but let’s all change that. If it weren’t for the«company» this would have been my one and only visit but I’m willing to give them a second chance to make a first impression.

Happy hour, came here for the Bloody Mary because was craving it. It’s a Mexican restaurant, can’t really go wrong. Had the frozen margaritas and they were normal. I mean, it’s nothing special but nothing bad.

So far this is terribly disappointing service. Waiting for over 10 minutes for our waiter to return with drinks or anything. Wouldn’t recommend

What a disappointment!!! Salsa had gone bad. Guacamole was not fresh. Queso fundido was watery. Chicken tomato soup tastes like ravioli sauce. Quesadilla was good but way too small for $ 10.00. Margaritas were the only passable item. I really doubt the kitchen staff is Mexican or in the very least trained.

Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere, wonderful all around. Get the Rancho chicken burrito chimichanga style! First off it was 4:45pm on a Saturday and we had already checked 4 different places between here and times square that had a 30 minute or hour wait. We walked in and they seated us immediately. It did get busier before we left but still had plenty of room. We had 4 people in our party and ordered the fish tacos, Carne asada tacos, chicken fajitas, and chicken burrito chimi style. The chimi was fantastic and I am an avid chimichanga critic. Also the FISHTACOS were superb and quite filling for only 4 tacos. The Fajitas were well enjoyed by my mother-in-law and even had enough for me to fill a tortilla myself. All around the food was amazing, the only thing I wasn’t in love with was the chips, but the quality of the entres made up for it. For $ 72 I feel like this has been the best Mexican food I’ve had in NY going back to eating Mexican food last in Arizona, and that is saying a lot! Enjoy, you can’t go wrong at this place!

Absolutely love Mexican food and normally any place that serves free chips and salsa can’t be that bad. Came to this place for dinner with a friend but was disappointed with my fajitas. Usually it comes with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream to add to the tortillas but apparently it didn’t. When I tried to ask they said they would get it for me but what they neglected to tell me is that I would have to pay $ 6?! for some cut up lettuce, maybe half a tomato chopped up and the smallest serving of sour cream. In Hell’s Kitchen you can definitely do better than Rancho Tequileria.

I feel morally obligated to warn people about eating here. After one of the worst meals I’ve ever had(I ate about ¼ before pushing the plate away), I spent the following 3 days out of commission with food poisoning. Whatever they claim their health grade is, it is not low enough. If you are in Hell’s Kitchen, there are much better and safer options.

Rancho Tequileria is formerly known as Green Rancho. To avoid confusion with the word«Green» as an organic restaurant, the owner decided to have the brand name changed. The new name is also befitting since they now have more variants of Tequila for patrons to try. They still have the same customer service, the efficiency of the service was unchanged. We were seated promptly and enjoyed our frozen margaritas in no time at all. Following the complementary chips and salsa, the order of sizzling steak fajitas came in a timely fashion. The dinner was capped as always with a free shot of tequila from our awesome head waiter.

The margaritas weren’t the best but the food was delicious. Best burrito I’ve had and the ceviche was definitely worth it!

Promising from view of the street but… This is a place where tepid watered down enchilada sauce with still cold cheese chunks counts as tortilla soup. Boyfriend has tacos al pastor. They were flavorful. Don’t get sangria. Nasty and watered down. Nachos were decent but dry — had to ask for salsa, which our waiter seemed confused about. Wouldn’t go here again — prices were high — flavors weak — and that soup rather destroyed my gut.

I had the jumbo shrimp meal with rice and it was so delicious. I just wish they gave a reasonable portion because I thought it was too small(or maybe I was just really hungry) Other than that everything was great. I loved the service.

We are looking for a nice shot down taqueria. We passed by Rancho Tequileri on Ninth Avenue and the menu looked good. So we decided to go in. The service was very attentive. The staff was very accommodating to our requests. We tried the Fish Tacos and the veggies tacos which were really tasty. The Green salad was fresh. Would recommend this place to anyone.
