Giving a 5 here because we had a really fun night at the bar. We stopped in here for a quick drink and stayed for hours because of the great bartenders Brian and Warren. I really liked the vibe of this place and for this Jersey Girl they even played me some BRUCE! Fast and very courteous service. Excellent Dirty Martini’s(Brian is more generous with olive… LOL) Really nice bar to hang out at, TV’s, bar tables, booths, a small dinning area with a tv and clean bathrooms. We mainly had drinks which were well made and an order of potato skins. All the food coming out looked great but we had already eaten. I was noisy and asked how the food was everyone said really good. I wish we had a neighborhood bar like this one at home because if we did I would definitely frequent this place. So now I have a go to place when I’m in NYC.

I go to Quinn’s about once every week or two(usually early afternoons on weekends) to watch Real Madrid soccer games, and there’s no place better in the whole city to do just that! The owners and staff are very accommodating to us Madrid fans, but also respect the other patrons who prefer Premier League matches on the TVs closest to them. The bartenders begin to recognize you after a couple visits and are super friendly. Boddingtons Pub Ale on tap is my favorite and they’re one of the few bars I’ve found that serve Mahou bottles! The seasonal hot beverages(Bourbon Apple Cider, Kahlua Hot Chocolate, Irish Coffee) are also terrific, and the food is superb as well! Great for large groups and they have an upstairs party area available. Highly recommend checking it out when you’re in the Times Square or Hell’s Kitchen neighborhoods.

The bouncer was INCREDIBLY rude and turned away my REAL22 year old ID because he believed it was fake. Then he went and scanned it and it worked and he lied about it and wouldn’t let us in because he was embarrassed. Absolutely horrific service. Do not go here.

I’ve been to this place few times for football game and wasn’t pleased with it. Ordered fries and it came cold and not salty, asked for ketchup and never got it. Almost impossible to get a drink, had a feeling that bartender was ignoring me. I really hope that next football season it’s gonna be another place.

Awful customer service!!! Meanest bartenders I have ever seen in NYC. Went to watch college football game here, had to wait forever to get beer. The door to bar was open and it was freezing called, asked few times if they can close it but they refused to do it.

I’ve been to Quinn’s more times than I can count, as it’s not only a cheap, spacious, sports-watching local spot for my neighborhood friends, but it also served as the post-game hangout for my bowling league. Three stars pretty much sums up the entirety of my experience, with some days being a little worse than others, and some days being pleasantly better. I’ll break down the reasons to visit so you can decide for yourself: — Lots of different types of seating, ranging from a mega-bench/table for 10 to tables for twos — Cheap drinks ranging from $ 4 beers to $ 9 – 12 for original creations(e.g. winter cocktails) — Plenty of TVs to watch whatever game is on — Unfussy ambience, the kind where you can walk in wearing a Snuggie and no one would care — Generally well-behaved patrons(e.g. drink solo and don’t worry about being hit on)

Friends in town for Iowa so called 5 days before to make a reservation. Also had friends in from Florida so watching Clemson(#1 in country) and FSU was a must. Was told if we sat up stairs thay they would play both games. If they had just told me that wasn’t possible, we would not have gone and no worries. Showed up 30 minutes early and no one could figure out how to change 1 tv screen. Then they got too busy because only 1 bartender was working for an entire floor. Very frustrating. Missed the first half. Only go here for Iowa and be sure to sit downstairs. Upstairs is the worst.

My friends and I came to this bar in the early afternoon on a Wednesday to watch Madrid since it’s a Real Madrid bar. We had possibly the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. Let me preface by stating that all four of us are currently working as servers in New York City and tend to be more than lenient with a server«in the weeds» or having a bad day. I tend to tip between 30 and 40 percent because I know truly what it takes to survive a long shift with difficult tippers. From the beginning however, our server(Jaclyn), was surly and uninformed. My friend asked simply about a seasonal special written on the board and she retorted«I don’t know» with attitude and didn’t even offer to find out. The rest of our time with her was sporadic and not extremely attentive but she brought out all of the correct food and drinks in a timely fashion so we had few complaints. After the game was over, we waited a full 30 minutes before she even acknowledged our presence, after which we asked for our check. She brought it over and that’s when we noticed that she had added an 18 percent gratuity. There were only four people sitting at our table, and aware of restaurant laws, I knew that gratuity couldn’t be added to a table unless it was explicitly stated in the menu or there was a party of 5 or larger. Regardless of the matter, we were planning on adding tip in cash since we were splitting the bill. That is when my friend approached her about the added gratuity. She asked why there was an %18 gratuity added, and the server responded: «we add gratuity during games». While that may well be their policy, I was not informed of that upon sitting or I would have chosen to sit at the empty bar. It was also not stated in their menu. She obviously felt cornered because she then angrily asked my friend«are you ACTUALLY uncomfortable tipping the 18 percent gratuity?!» To which my friend replied: «I’m uncomfortable with being forced to, yes.» She(Jaclyn) rolled her eyes, left in a huff, and then returned with the new check saying: «I removed the gratuity and you know what? DON’T leave me any tip, I don’t want you to. Now you can have a NICEFUCKINGDAY.» Of course we couldn’t get her attention at all after that, so we asked the host to run the check for us. She returned with the receipts without a word, slammed them down on the table and left. We OFCOURSE, still tipped her, even more than %18 percent but I have vowed NEVER to return to Quinn’s. It’s a shame that someone that angry works at such a chill bar, I’ve definitely enjoyed watching sports there and the general atmosphere but with so many wonderful options in New York, why spend my money just to be completely disrespected.

Came in to watch the NFL games. There’s a lot of TV’s and we had the whole 2nd floor for the Jaguar fans. We got a few pitches and some food. The service was a little slow. Only one girl for the whole 2nd floor. As for the food we got a couple of buttermilk chicken sandwiches. The sandwich is not a fillet but a few chicken fingers on bread. Not much flavor and really dry. I had to add ranch and honey mustard to try and lubricate it. I swapped out the Cajun fries for tator tots for an uncharge. The tots we regular tots and I was expecting something special since they offer them as a appetizer. My friend kept the Cajun fries and when it came out turned out to be regular steak fries with no Cajun seasoning. Over all the food is average at best. If your coming to watch a game they have the room, TV, and ok selection on beer. Update: the one waitress loves ignoring me when I try to get her attention. Taking forever to get the check.

Cozy and friendly bar with a great staff! I planned a private event here and the management team were extremely nice and accommodating to all my requests. They even created a special mocktail menu, which was delicious. The bar has 2 levels, is a great atmosphere for a casual gathering, plus you might overhear some cool Irish accents! This place has zero attitude, which made everyone feel really comfortable, and have a great experience.

Clive was very nice married a day ago he spoke with us and told the bartender to put a round on the house. Which the bartender never did and basically ignored us as we sat with empty glasses. The important thing was that the bartender was able to eat behind the bar as he stuffed the chicken(I think) in his mouth. Empty glasses at the bar unreal.

I came in because of Happy Hour. We ordered chicken pot pie definitely do not recommend. The waitress did allow to to send it back and order something else. The fish & chips were ok, the nachos were awful. Chips taste old. Beer was great and happy hour price $ 4 for a beer so definitely will come for drinks, but not for food. Love the music here.

I stopped by in here real quick before a show while waiting for friends. The bartender I had was super friendly and nice. She just took my order as needed. Then when my friends came, took theirs. Service was quick, prompt and they had some great drafts available. During the time I was there, they were showing the Women’s World Cup and at times, it’d get a little loud in there with one woman screaming the loudest. But otherwise, pretty decent spot to hit up and plenty of televisions with the game on to entertain you as you wait. I’d duck in here again to wait for people since it’s clean and spacious. Not sure how the food is though but would definitely try it next time.

Service was fast but mediocre … Ambiance was what you’d expect in a pub, nothing special. TV screens everywhere. KEYNOTE: don’t order the fish tacos. They didn’t taste too bad(the fish was clearly sliced up leftover pieces from their fish/chips selection), but the aftermath — oh, the aftermath. Up all night, worst food poisoning in years. Lesson learned.

Popped in with my Irish friend on St. Patrick’s Day a couple of days ago. We were greeted by a deflated blow up leprechaun at the entrance and proceeded to make our way to a couple of open spots at the bar. All the TV screens were broadcasting the parade which was nice and what we wanted to watch while having lunch. Because of St. Paddy’s, they only had a limited menu which was disappointing to my friend since she is vegetarian. I decided to go with the fish and chips and a pint of Guinness. The fish and chips were okay but not on par with the $ 18 price point. Additionally, my «pint» of Guinness wasn’t a pint and was served in a 12 oz plastic Bud Light cup(how Irish!)… would have been nice in a glass and wouldn’t feel as if I was crashing a frat party. With all of the Irish pubs in the neighborhood, I think I will spend St. Paddy’s at a different one next time.

We came here after seeing the ball drop in Times Square. It’s located conveniently to the main attractions serving as a good way to wait out the crowds. We came in for a few drinks and munchies while waiting for the massive crowds to thin out. The service was fast and friendly, but we had Guiness that were served in a plastic cup(WTF) so that lost a star. The food was fast and hot, which were surprising for that time of the night. Overall, nice large bar with good service and selections.

Great for NFL football. They will show most of the games and to your request as well. NFL Sundays were good for food specials and bud light pitcher & bucket specials. The wings and nachos were good and there’s tons of space and not too crazy crowded which is always good. Knocked off 2 stars bc 1) hair was found in the salad 2) fruit fly was found swimming in my guiness HOWEVER management totally kind and didn’t hesitate to offer round of drinks on the house and quickly changed out my Guinness(bc waitstaff saw me looking into my beer). I think this could be a good local place

Honestly — I don’t remember coming here. But I checked in, so obviously I did. If this is the place I vaguely recall, it’s an Irish Pub in HK. I was on the wrong side of inebriation when I came, so I ordered a cider, which was delicious, but ended up having two sips before realizing my lightweight-drinking self could only handle water for the rest of the night. It wasn’t too crowded. Came on a Friday around. .. . dunno, I’ll say midnight? 11pm? No idea. We were able to get a seat next to an out-of-town bachelorette party. There was a hottie standing at the bar all by his lonesome. Why? Who knows?! Turns out — he was a delicious 21-year-old garment-worker /slash/model who was trying to grow in his eyebrows so that they could be properly shaped by his stylist. And he was DEFINITELY straight. I think we scared him when I dragged him to Schmackary’s for some cookies. Anywhoo — Ales — if you are reading this — how was the rest of your night? Perhaps inappropriate — but the point is, this is a good bar if you are hopping around because it was easy to get a seat, not too crowded, definitely not pretentious, a large space, and maybe you’ll run into a hot 21-year-old that you would like to have as part of your breakfast.

Oh Midtown bars… I often feel like if you’ve been to one of them, then you’ve been to them all… but I feel like I would come back to Quinn’s if I were in the area to meet someone or to kill time. They’re not too far from trains that take me to the land of Queens so that’s a positive and their beer is served super cold which means they know what they’re doing with their beer equipment stuff… their selection of beer could be better, but I’m a craft beer nut so last night when here for my first time I chose to go with a Shocktop and was happy as a clam because it was fantastic and served with a juicy orange wedge. Hooray! I was here to see a show on the 2nd floor that turned out to be a hot, disappointing mess — but I did have the chance afterwards to chat with the bartender(I feel like her name was Lynn…) and the waitress and both gals were really sweet. Quinn’s food menu also looked ridiculous… and by ridiculous I mean ridiculously awesome! Bar food is one of(my many) unabashedly guilty pleasures in life and I definitely want to come back and try their truffle 3-cheese mac & cheese and their spinach artichoke dip — the photographs on Unilocal for both look mouthwatering! I’ll be back for a mac & cheese and a Shocktop — both part of a perfectly balanced meal 0:).

Disclaimer: This review is solely on the«Drunken Shakespeare» theatrical show held on the top floor of the bar not on the actual bar itself. Drunken Shakespeare is a show put on by about 6 actors playing out different stories written by Shakespeare. It is certainly a modern day twist on old tales to say the least. The actors drink throughout the show and the patrons are highly encouraged to drink as well. There is a waitress that walks around taking orders after you write them down so that you don’t have to miss any parts of the show. The show is held upstairs on the top level of the bar. There are tables with chairs set up. Its first come first serve so you may want to go early to pick your table of choice. We were lucky to grab a table right next to the«throne». They auctioned off a spot to be King and Queen of the show to anyone who was interested. A couple ended up winning the spot for $ 130. It was pretty cool. It included a bottle of Moët, Caviare, massages and cheers to them about 30 x’s throughout the night it was totally hilarious. The show was super funny. The actors were really funny reciting Macbeth, which was the story of the night and making tons of jokes in between. Its a very interactive show so if you go hopefully you aren’t shy! I drank beer so I cant say much about the drinks here but seems like your regular Manhattan bar. I would definitely recommend for a fun night out with friends!
