Print Scan

I never had to get fingerprinting done before so I was pretty clueless as to what to expect going in. It is a relatively smaller office so it did feel a bit crowded but I have to give it to their service. Even though there was a small line, it went by smoothly and I was greeted/​tended to in a polite manner. I waited about 5 minutes before I was called and had the scan completed in about another 5 minutes. Five stars for being quick, friendly, and polite.

I just wanted to say thank you for doing such a good job on my fingerprints back in January. I am immigrating to
Canada to get a police clearance from the FBI. The first place I went to 6 months ago twice totally ripped me off as the FBI could not read those prints, but the prints you provided to me were very good and they were able to read them. I cannot thank you enough for helping me to get this clearance on time for my move. You guys are the best in NYC!

Electronic fingerprinting for FBI Background check in hours!

So I looked on the website, sent them an email at 8:30am to schedule an appointment to get prints done that I needed same day! Got a friendly response within 20 minutes and was able to schedule my appointment for 1:30pm same afternoon. Got to my appointment n was checked in within 5 minutes showed my drivers license and my wait was about 15 minutes to be called. Prints took about 10 minutes to complete and I was in and out! Worth the $ 50 for ease and convenience. Would absolutely recommend and go back if needed.

PrintScan is in a small, nondescript office space on the 2^nd floor of a large building. My future employer scheduled an appointment there for me so that I could get fingerprinting and a background check as the final step to getting officially hired. I had no idea what to expect and didn’t know if this would involve hours of my time like at the DMV.
Upon entering, there is a waiting area with several chairs. Ahead are a few fingerprinting booths. There was one employee present at 5:30pm fingerprinting someone when I arrived. I waited a couple minutes for my turn. He asked for two forms of ID and had me confirm that the information he pulled up on his computer was correct. He took a photo of me– a potential mug shot. With his gloved hands, he manipulated my fingers together and individually on the digital scanbed as my fingerprints showed up on the computer screen. No messy black ink was required. The employee was pleasant and answered my questions. The process was fairly quick. I was there for approximately 15 minutes total. But, I was told that it would take around a week for my background report to be generated after my prints get sent to the Criminal Justice Center.
I noticed that the bill, which was paid by my future employer, was $ 101 for the fingerprinting.
