Precise Brows

A frequent visitor, being that I live one block away. I’ve experienced an array of results, although overall the work is well done as far as threading and the prices are reasonable!

Came here for group eyelash extensions a while ago. Horrible job. My eyes stung throughout the entire process because the technician used so much glue. I was literally crying throughout the entire procedure and the lady kept asking if I was okay because she had to keep wiping the tears from the corner of my eyes. Did not see her wash her hands before she started and she kept telling me to keep my eyes open and «look down» while I sat in the reclined chair. At the end of the procedure she took out a small tool and took the remainder of the eyelash glue and combed it through the eyelashes, making them thick and fake looking. I was so embarrassed with them on that I had to remove them the same day. They came out in clumps because they were all glued together. Thankfully I didn’t lose any of my natural lashes.

Got my eyebrows done so thought why not get my lashes done too? I went with a friend since she told me about this place. Eyelash extensions from Mon-​Wed are 20% off so it came out to be $ 32 without tip. My friend and I got the group extensions but if you want mink extensions, you need to book an appointment and they’re $ 90(?).
I suggest paying with cash cause if you pay with card, there’s a fee.
The lady was very nice and took care of us well. The eyelashes came out looking really good. This is my second time getting them done and this time was way better than the first. They do look natural and they were placed well.
She even told us that if there are any problems within a weeks time, we can come back in to fix it free of charge. Thank god cause I don’t pay money for it to mess up so quick and not have it fixed.
It’s been almost a week and two little eyelash extensions fell out. These usually last 2 weeks? I’m going to go in and have them fixed or else I’ll look like my eye is balding.

Its either a hit or miss each time i come here. Two locations but i personally prefer the larger place. The small shop has a younger girl who’s friendly but she does my brows horrible. I had her do mine three times and each time she manages to mess up, either the arch or the length or the thickness. I gave it a three star because perviously i had a very good experience but it started to get worse as they changed the ladies in the shop. Only go if you need a quick touch up

It is the worst threading salon I’ve been to… they do not deserve even a single star. I was there for three times only because they are located not far from my house. Enough! My eyebrows have different shape after I leave this place in spite of the fact that every single time I explained what I need.

I just came in today for the first time .The young girl did my brows for me the way I wanted it and made them even –finally after explaining myself to a couple of salons .I’m pretty happy with them

They tend to over pluck. No manners. The woman who seemed to be the boss is always on the phone talking over my face while she threads. Let’s just say, she needed a mint.

I’ve wanted to like this place time after time but I just can’t seem to justify the quality of work they do here. I’ve been to many eyebrow salons throughout the boroughs and this one is the only threading salon near my house for quite a while. Sometimes I’ll go weeks without having my eyebrows threaded so I can eventually grow them out thicker as time goes by. So when I do happen to run into an upcoming event that requires me to get a little dolled up and my eyebrows aren’t done– I resort to this place in hopes they have gotten better with time… And each time I am wrong. They don’t throughly take care of the little hairs, the shape of the brows are not similar to one another, and you’re in the seat for about 2 minutes tops. If you are somebody that does not give your eyebrows much attention and just want a quick clean up– then this is the place.

I have been coming to this place on and off for about 5 years, because I moved to another side of town and didn’t think it was worth commuting here for just waxing. But, OMG I was wrong. They really do a great job! Very thorough, and they only use good product and do not charge more for it. Recently, they switched to a chocolate wax and it is great! It hurts less and leaves my skin clean with no allergic reactions! The place is clean and the price is excellent! I definitely recommend them!

I’m certainly not skilled enough to do my own eyebrows and like any woman who cares what they look like, I like to come here. I’m afraid to constantly try new places. Too risky for me. I’ve been coming here for over a year. This is my go to place in the neighborhood.
There are a few different woman who rotate shifts three. And to be fair I prefer certain ones over the others. They all have their own style. They always listen when I say if I want something done differently.
Their prices are decent as well. Cheaper than the alternative eyebrow place I use in a pinch, located on the city.

Today would be my second time coming here for threading. Not sure if I will be back. From my recollection, I think there are two people working here: an older lady and a younger one.
For those of you new to threading, here is what to expect:
— Sit on the chair and lay back
— the beginning won’t hurt. It will feel like little scratches.
— you get involved in helping stretch/​hold your eyebrow. They will tell you to «hold.»
— Depending on the eyebrow they are working on, take the opposite hand and pull the top of your eyebrow. Take your other hand and pull down the bottom of your eyebrow. (i.e. When working on your left eyebrow, take your right hand and pull the top, the the left to pull the bottom.)
— this is when it starts to hurt :(
— they will apply some sort of lotion/​alcohol on it
— trimming may occur
— thread may break at times but no worries
My initial visit here, I had the younger one. She was quick and the process was not too painful. It was better than waxing. No pain tears at all.
Now, the second visit. I had to wait approximately 30 minutes. I had the older one. This was so much more painful. Both times, I didn’t do my eyebrows in a while. The process took a lot longer. My eyebrows are thinner than I would have liked even though I said I wanted it to look natural and not too thin. It was so painful. Lots if pain tears started coming out. She kept going back and forth to pull out hair that she missed. Maybe she was trying to be «precise.» Anyway, that resulted in my eyebrows getting a tad swollen and some blood. Compared to waxing, this was worse because of the duration.
As a note, they have a frequency rewards card. They also always have promotions going on. The price is not that expensive. It’s only $ 8 for threading.

I went thr few times… it is horrible!!! it’s a very small eyebrow /​waxing place… two person usually works hr. the old lady who works hr messed up my brows once. after that incident I didn’t went thr for few months… then I bought a Groupon for this place… I called them before I went in… though they don’t take appointments but I just called them and asked, if they are free? they said yes but when I went there they made me wait for 45 minutes… then the old lady did my eye Brow… I told her not to pluck too much… but she over plucked my eyebrows and messed it up… then I went for waxing she waxed my arms with chocolates wax but the wax was like old… used… and probably she used it the whole day for all the other clients… and when she was waxing my arms… her applicator fell on the floor. and guess what she did??? she didn’t change it or cleaned it. she didn’t even said sorry… she just acted like nothing happened… then she cutt my skin in four places and my skin was bleeding… and she didn’t even say sorry!!! I even tipped her like a fool… and she didn’t even said thank you!!!##!!$&. so I called groupon… and told them the whole story .and they gave me the refund and cancelled the groupon…

Tried this place for eyebrow threading after buying a groupon for six threading sessions and was not satisfied at all!
Each time my eyebrows were done they were horrible and not even. then on my fourth visit I was told that my sessions expired and I could not use my last visits. I in no way would have returned after the first visit if I hadnt already purchased six sessions.
Once I contacted groupon I was refunded my money and will never return! LOL. I also recently saw that they are begging for victims… I mean seeking customers again through groupon. No thanks.

It was a nice enough place. It was very convenient in comparison to the last place I went to get my eyebrows done. Customer service wasn’t so great at the end when the lady didn’t like my tip, oh well. All I can say is I’ve gotten them done cheaper and with tip for 7 dollars versus the10 I pay now. Based on the speed of service, plus the fact that its very congested, painless aka nice eyebrows and unhappy service at the end I give this place 3.5 stars.

I love this place ! Not much to say, threading professionals, also got a Brazilian here, they use a chocolate wax that is so soothing removes EVERYTHING ! The ladies are so sweet ! My go to spot for eyebrow threading and waxes.

Amazing place. I usually get my eyebrows waxed but I decided to come here since they had an amazing promotion for eyebrow threading at $ 3. YES, $ 3! Since I’m the queen of cheap I decided to come here. My eyebrows were dying for some TLC anyway. The lady who did my eyebrows was so gentle! Threading was actually less painful than waxing for me. On a scale of 1 – 10 of pain, the experience for me was only a 2! Waxing is usually a 4. So after 7 minutes of her careful threading she showed me my brows and I was in love! They look soo good. I’ll definitely be coming back for my regular threading sessions. They have a customer card in which you get your brows done 7 times, the 8^th is free. Happy threading ladies and gents!

Having had my eyebrows threaded every 2 weeks for the past 5 years, I decided to give this new place a try since its location is extremely convenient on bay parkway. The place just opened and was extremely clean and sanitary. My eyebrows were meticulously shaped and I left extremely satisfied. Will definitely return especially since it is open 7 days a week till 8pm (Except Sunday, then it’s until 7:30)
