Powells Cove Park

Always felt like they could of done a lot more with this park. I remember when this park was a barren field of weeds, even before it became the stepping stone for the Evian bird flu here in the USA. Before and even after the park was created I’d do fun teenager stuff in here like ride my old BMX bike, make bon fires, light off fireworks (suck it Bloomy!) and do other inappropriate teenage things that I shouldn’t mention on Unilocal haha
Currently, you just have a number of gravel trails with some ‘scenic’ outlooks of the smelly bay, the waste treatment plant and the always under construction Whitestone Bridge. I’m guessing this park could be nice if you’re in the area and want to take a quick run or bike ride? Just make sure you stay clear of the scattered trash, mutant sized bugs in the summer and those youngsters smoking that wacky tobaccy on the late night.
