Mary is a sorcerer of a seamstress. She can do anything and typically in a short period of time and I find the prices for her art very reasonable. The dry cleaning is pretty good as well. I think in about 6 years I had a problem once. The hours are great, as well.

Sadly, I can’t recommend this place not because they don’t do a good job but because the clothes are never ready when they say they are!
Three times now they have been late. Like, 2 days late. And I get no phone call, no explanation, not even «I’m sorry».

Took a pea coat to be dry cleaned and have the buttons replaced. Very friendly and attentive service, delivered exactly what I needed. Have heard that a hemming became undone quickly on a friend’s pair of trousers, but it was a rush order. Overall, I would recommend Pinnacle to a friend, especially because they care about their client relationships.

I love this place, probably my favorite dry cleaner ever! The proprietress is wonderful, is always impressively attentive to my cleaning and tailoring needs. In this era of globalization overtaking the great cities of the world, my faith in New York is bolstered by local businesses such as this one.

Pinnacle Cleaners is my cleaners by default because they are less than 50 yards away from my apartment. I’m one of their best customers because I have no desire to take hours out of my day and run the laundry in the basement of my apartment complex, I am simply too lazy and too much of a guy to tend to my clothes for hours.
The service here is among the elite. If I drop off laundry before I go to work, it will be ready by the time I get home. They are open 7 days a week with longer hours than most of their competitors. There was one time I was running about 10 minutes late to pick up my laundry (the place closes at 7) and they kept the store open so I can pick my stuff up. They had every right to close at 7, the fact that they did that for me does not go unappreciated.
The staff here is also a pleasure, the main tailor is usually running around or sitting at her sewing machine working on alterations while blasting female pop music like Madonna or Lady Gaga. I have gotten some alterations done here in the past to sew back pockets or put buttons back on certain garments that were as good as promised. At this point, the staff at Pinnacle doesn’t even have to ask me for the last 4 digits of my phone number anymore because they remember it.
Between the impeccable client centered service and the fact the fine folks at Pinnacle remember my phone number, it is things like this that are going to make me sad to one day leave the neighborhood feel of the East Village.
