Pizza is great, especially the margherita slice! But overall and great place to eat and the service is awesome, always eat there for lunch!

Cold, disgusting pizza. Saw a cockroach in here and told management, but they didn’t seem to care. Will not return.

What happened to this place? This used to be good, and last night I called for delivery. Was promised 20 – 30 minutes. Took 57. Normally call about an order that is late, you get someone understanding and apologetic — not here. I had a «chat» with the most belligerent person I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with while ordering food for delivery. He said he had no delivery guys available, and the pizza was in the oven. Then when I called 60 seconds later — I’m not even joking — apparently A) the pizza had been removed from the oven, B) a delivery guy had magically appeared, and C) the delivery guy had left. So, unless Piazza has magical powers, I had the pleasure of speaking to a flat-out liar. On top of everything, all of my pizza arrived thoroughly burnt. So, maybe it would have arrived earlier if you weren’t trying to cook it into a charcoal briquette. Just a thought. What’s sad is that this place used to be high on my scale. Now, please avoid — there are plenty of more respectful spots nearby that have good pizza.

I love Piazza Pizza. They are so efficient and fast with my order. That’s a good thing since I always go on my lunch break. Usually, I get two slices with extra cheese but sometimes I get a salad or some sort of fettuccine. Everything is fresh and decadent and pretty cheap, considering it’s on the Upper East Side.

Ordered an individual baked ziti pizza for delivery. Very mediocre. «Thin crust» was really like a big, round cracker. It was hard and lacking flavor. Sauce was good, and pasta was good. Delivery was on time and accurate. Just meh.

They will deliver a single slice via Seamless. It’s usually hot and decent pizza. Stromboli on the other hand is just a hot mess. Partially doughy, partially burned. Dough seemed cobbled together– like the thing didn’t start out as a Stromboli but maybe some slices? Dunno– threw most of it away. Still– if you need one slice and are a lazy ass or a fraidy-cat this is your late night place for delivery.

food is delicious but they have the hardest time delivering what you actually order. The last three orders: small pizza — got a personal pizza calzone — got a plate of melted cheese with a piece of crust sticking up like a shark fin 2 gyros — got one and these are Seamless orders, it’s not like I’m placing the orders over the phone and mumbling like a crazy person.

Fantastic place. Doesn’t look like much but it’s my favorite pizza on the upper east side. Everything they make is fresh and high quality. The salads are excellent.

This place is close to being amazing. Pizza is so good. Just got to make some minor adjustment to get 5 stars.

Eh. Ordered delivery tonight. 5 stars for the food, 3 for service. I ordered fettuccine alfredo with peas and bacon, and a Snapple, and all was very reasonably priced. The delivery estimate was 40 minutes, but it got here much quicker, which was great. In my experience with places like this, the pasta is overcooked and drowning in watery sauce, with less-than-fresh toppings. Not this time. The sauce was robust and proportionate, the pasta was al dente, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. Pleased as I was with the dish, I was very disappointed to discover my drink was missing. When I called asking after it, the man on the phone was brusque, but said they’d send it over. It arrived quickly enough, but was, alas, the wrong drink. I guess Fruit Punch Snapple just wasn’t in the stars for me tonight. I’ll probably give these guys another shot if I find myself in the neighborhood again.

In a rush? Hungry? Want the best slice of pizza in the Upper East Side? Go here! My fiancé and I popped in to this small, hole-in-the-wall pizza joint before our movie next door and were blown away. I had the margharita pizza and don’t think I’ve ever tasted fresher tomatoes or mozzarella or seen a bigger slice of pizza. The pizza was also expertly decorated, the tomatoes weren’t just slapped on there like someone didn’t care and thick chunks of mozzarella was strategically placed to ensure no bite would go without it. My fiancé had some sort of supreme but I didn’t really get a chance to see it or try it as he inhaled it in about 3 bites. The restaurant itself is truly immemorable. There are several two-seaters lined up against the wall sitting parallel to the kitchen — probably a better place to take out from or to eat on the run. Not really great for dining in with groups.

Love their pizza. They are priced reasonably and their slices are pretty massive.

Cramped quarters, unhelpful staff, payed over $ 10 for a simple salad. Forget this place.

I cant say I’ve tried every single slice on the UES but I’ve tried quite a few and Piazza is by far the best. Their other food is also good, but the pizza is their best offering. I like to get a burger or slice there then hop next door to Papaya King for curly fries.

I really enjoyed Piazza Pizza. My husband stumbled into here on his way home. It has relocated where the old Sassy’s Sliders used to be. They have a great deal on two slices and a drink for less than 5 bux! We then ordered two large pies from them for my hubby’s bday party! We ordered cheese and one pizza with peppers! Let me say: The pizza was great! Full of flavor! The peppers were cooked and not hard or crunchy. I will definitely order from the again. Kudos to them for having a nice delivery man, too! A++

Is it sad that I forgot I’ve been here… or that I even wrote a review? Well, that’s probably because they moved and is now located on the corner of 86th and 3rd Ave!(between Burger Heaven and Papaya King). But that doesn’t matter because their stuff is still GOOD! Yes they moved, but they’re just as delicious!

This pizza is GOOD. I like the white pizza and the lasagna pizza. Mmmm and garlic knots. Open late and quick service. I remember stumbling out of the subway at 86th street drunk and hungry on many a late night. Seeing the lights on at Piazza always felt like a gift from the jesus himself. Amen.

Okay pizza. The cheese slice had a nice thin crisp crust and the cheese/sauce were solid. The Sicilian slice isn’t recommended — decent crust but just a glob of cheese. They had a number of other slice choices but — like most places — you’ve got to worry about the turnover rate during offpeak hours. Theere was one w/chicken that looked pretty good. Not a bad choice if you’re waiting for the 86th st cross town bus…
