Been a regular customer since they opened! That explains everything!

I love it here. I finish class and end up here just taking shots after a miserable week. The bartenders here are all very sweet. I’m so happy they recognize me now! But that just may be because I’m the only Indian looking girl there xDD Jokes aside $ 4 shots and a CLEAN bar? Yep this is all stressed out people need in their lives. Pull up a seat it’s very cozy and welcoming here :)

Came on a Friday at about 11:30pm. Bartender(Irish with spikey hair, about 30yo) was barking at me for sitting at the bar just after I walked in, undoing my jacket. He goes«ID please» numerous times. And I’m like«yes, just a moment I just walked in.» And then when I show him the stupid ID, he says«what drinks you ordering» and i said«nothing right now» then proceeds to tell me if I want to sit there I have to order a drink. The bar was basically empty. What’s his problem? No one was waiting for a seat. Horrible service!!! Unfriendly attitude! Don’t come here.

Coming here after happy hour was a mistake. Bartenders are extremely rude and cater only towards their regular male customers. I hoped to hang out with some friends here to grab drinks, catch up, and have a good time but the service was unacceptable. Only men 30+ welcome here. Would not recommend for a girls night or friendly gathering

First of all: no one is about to die because of a seat at the bar, but the bartender does not understand that. Rude. I get that I look young but you really don’t have to be a butthole about it, by bugging me every 30 seconds to order a crappy drink at your crappy bar. Tks, but no tks. I didn’t even have time to put my stupid jacket down.

It’s rocket science at its finest… same drinks for less money, friendlier clientele, friendlier staff and spacious… no food just removes a complication and creates a better scene. Perfect!!!

Peter Dillon’s is a great bar. They don’t have food, they don’t have live music, and they don’t have large bathrooms. They do have great drinks, great prices, a great atmosphere, and a great bartender(Sean). We stopped in on a cold and snowy Sunday night and had a great time. Check this place out!

Nice place to go when you have nothing to do. I came here before going to dinner with family. We got here just after happy hour so it wasn’t crowded at all. We found a table pretty quickly. The waitress took a while to come over though but she took our orders right away. Drinks were standard. Nothing I’d make a plan to go to but if I were in the area and needed a bar, not a bad place to go!

Cant beat the $ 4 happy hour. Great for an after work drink or before a game at MSG. No Food served but they allow you to BYOF — Bring Your Own Food. Your classic Irish Pub. No frills, just drinking and a good time. Bartenders are always attentive.

Great location, fun, cheap. A smallish place but surprised that I could find drinks for $ 4 at a midtown location — what? Not ideal for talking so I’d say it’s better if you have a group and are okay standing.

Great find. They have a nice drink selection at reasonable prices. It is self seating and bring your own food. The drink specials and happy hour deals are solid. Convenient location to Grand Central. Perfect for using the restroom and grabbing a pint before hitting Metro North. But seriously, the service was great and there was a bartender with an Irish accent, which is always a plus.

Great bar in a convenient location. I came here during happy hour and was surprised to find a good $ 4 beer selection — Bud light and Stella. I believe they also have shots available for $ 4 during happy hour but I didn’t partake. Anyways, Peter Dillon’s doesn’t serve food which could be a bummer but wait– they let you bring take out from other restaurants. I’d suggest grabbing a few pies from a location around the corner. I would definitely suggest this place for after work happy hours.

Your common irish pub that has top100 music. This is actually the newly expanded venue. They have self seating tables and bar seats. All day 4 $ pints(bud light of course) which isn’t too bad. If you come alone to mingle it’s not the place, unless you’re here to watch the games. Other than that if you come with a group to pregame, kill time, get together, the place offers good vibes

Nice atmosphere and great people. The bartender was very friendly and made one hell of a drink! Stopped in for a couple and wasn’t disappointed.

This place is great. Just a pub. Only a pub. Drink your heart away. The staff was friendly and prompt. We stopped in after going to the SNL Exhibit and it was brimming with soccer fans, ready to watch a match. They don’t serve food, but you can bring your own in. So if you want to hit a food cart before, feel free! They had Magner’s for me, so I was happy and the atmosphere was comfy and tucked away from the busy streets. I wish I was more of a soccer(oops football) fan, because I’m a sucker for gents with an Irish accent!

Unassuming little joint that packs a wallop of a happy hour. Your mission is simple: $ 4 is the operative price point, and you got a 2 hour window to pull off a few drinks here. The pints are $ 4(Bud Light, Blue Moon, Stella), the shots are $ 4(Cuervo, Jaegar, and Jameson). I recently stopped by this place with a friend from out of town who was super impressed. Chill, unpretentious, and with a crazy attentive staff to boot. Whether it was the waitress or barman, they made it their unparalleled desire to see my wishes fulfilled(i.e. to have a shot and a pint in hand at all times). I wish I could add more to this review, but some things that are super simple turn out to be the best things(i.e. Team Ico projects, Mad Max: Fury Road, Lincoln Logs…). Peter Dillon’s is a super simple spot, but it’s just so damn good. Definitely gonna be back in at this joint, and I’ll take a look at this«Bring Your Own Food» policy that they’ve got going on.

Awesome pub with reasonable draft beer prices($ 4 per pint)! Very attentive barmaid and a perfectly located pub. Perfect for a stopover on a long trip through the town.

One of the best places in the area. I went there once because I was trying to listen to a final game from my hometown. Had no internet connection on my phone to get it on the street so I went to the first bar with wifi to listen on my phone. Had a couple of beers that tuned into a bunch and the place was kind of empty. Just when the game was ending a few people entered, but as we didn’t get the cup, sadly for everyone, I didn’t buy rounds for everyone. The bartender, can’t remember his name, was an Irish guy, who was really cool. He tried every channel on the TV to see if maybe a weird cable channel was playing the game. He was attentive regarding the beers and the pretzels that I hate, but in a moment like that, I was chugging them.

Magners on draft and BYOF(bring your own food) makes for a healthy meal. Depends on what you bring in, of course! The bartender who worked solo for majority of a Saturday night when I visited was really nice. Really good with remembering cards with faces too. By second drink I added on my tab, he nodded before I finished saying my last name. Nice, no more yelling out your name. –1 star for their selection of music. Nicki Minaj, Rhianna, Sia, Monica and Brandy’s «The Boy Is Mine»… Soundtrack of a 7th grade dance, not an Irish pub!
