Riya is absolutely amazing. My brows are perfectly shaped every time I come in. I used to go to Pinky at Himalayan but this is my new favorite place — plus there’s rarely ever a wait.

I’ve coming here since May 2015 for lashes. Saru does an AMAZING job! She takes her time and does it exactly how I want the) longer on the ends)
For $ 25 it’s a total steal and it really does last.
Ive gotten so many compliments when I get them done and when I tell people the price they don’t believe it. It’s totally worth doing whenever you need the extra glam or special occasion.
I’ve never done my eyebrows here but I plan to in the near future.

Went in for a lip wax. Easy peasy, $ 5, and she used the thread to get the stubborn hairs. Convenient location and polite as well

The technician took longer than most to thread my eyebrows — about 10 – 15 minutes instead of the usual five. This, however, has been one of my favorite threadings.

Came in here early morning before work. The lady who threaded me did a good job getting every single stray out of the way.
She asked if I wanted to put on aloe gel afterwards, which I did, and used a tissue to put the gel on. This is something that they don’t do everywhere but is so important!
Prices are also reasonable. $ 7 for eyebrows.

Quick and easy spot! First time I came here, I desperately needed to fix my brows that I’d plucked into unsymmetrical and unflattering shapes. The girl who did them was amazing. She fixed them and advised me on where I still needed to grow them out. Second time I went was a about a month later to clean up strays that had grown out. The place was super busy though so I ended up with a different girl. She worked fast, but unfortunately my brows are uneven again because she didn’t pay attention to shape at all, and just pulled out whatever looked like a stray hair to her. But for the price, it’s not worth complaining too much about. I’ll probably go back again.

I’m a guy and I always have Riya to do my eyebrows. She made sure it’s not too feminine and I still have that thick brows look. ;)

Clean. Fast. Efficient. My hair grows back quite slowly. In the past when I cheat and go other places threading. Places I spend months growing them back. Price is great and all the ladies and men have great brows that walk out of here as well as the staff. I won’t go anywhere else in NYC.

One of the best eyebrow threading places in the city by far. $ 7 for a 10 – 15 min service. Ended up giving her a solid $ 10 because she did such a great job! (No more Unilocal check-​in deal btw. It’s over now.)
I asked my technician to clean up my brows and give me a slight arch. She delivered the service and cleaned off all the stray hairs miraculously. (Other places have failed to do so around the city :/​). Also a plus is that she really took her time and didn’t rush unlike the many places I’ve been to around the city.
Will make this my new go to eyebrow spot!

Came in for my usual threading with Riya. And decided to tint my eyebrows for $ 10 it was worth the shot. They came out very dark but she told me it would lighten up over the days. I recommend wearing a hat because you will think it looks funny. By the next day I woke up and they looked way better. She told me as I washed my face the tint would get lighter and I managed to use some soap and clear them up a bit more I was going for a very subtle look. I was worried everyone would dislike them but they ended up loving them. Can’t wait to get them done again in two weeks. I was reading online and I think next time I’ll ask for it to be on for five minutes instead of ten. Overall everything was great and I have received many compliments.

I came here to get my eyebrows done and was very satisfied. One of my eyebrows has always been thicker than the other, but I’m also scared of making my eyebrows too thin. They did a great job in evening them out without thinning them. I will definitely be back here regularly — it’s cheap, clean, and conveniently located.

I came here on the recommendation of a few friends from work. I had been an avid waxer over the past few years and was hesitant to try threading. I walked in on a Thursday night around 7 and was immediately taken to a chair. The salon was clean and well lit, so I felt comfortable right away. After about 5 – 6 minutes, my eyebrows were beautifully shaped! It definitely hurt less than waxing and for $ 7, it’s a bargain. They also give you a stamp card so that for every six times you get your eyebrows threaded, you get the seventh time free!

My first time was great, I was very pleased with my eyebrows. The second time, not so much… So I don’t know if I’ll give it a third try.
What is really annoying is that two days later I got an unexplicable and HORRENDOUS skin rash in the area, mainly in between my eyebrows. I haven’t changed anything in my skin routine so the only explanation I can come up with is that everything was not properly sanitized before threading…
Well at least I’m on point for my Bollywood party tonight.

I come here quite frequently to get my eyebrows done and it’s pretty good. The prices are good, much more reasonable than some of the other ones around.
Quick service, quiet ladies, always have music playing. They use chocolate wax which is interesting but I don’t mind it. I personally feel like the hair around my eyebrows grows back more quickly than it used to when I visited another salon. Not quite sure why.
Best part is that they give a card which is punched each time you visit and the 10 visit will be free service.

It is so hard to find a good place that is also cheap. There has been many places that I’ve been to in NYC where it is insanely expensive to get my eyebrows down. The eyebrow shaping takes forever, and I usually leave unhappy. But, this place is a whole other story! I literally tell the women there what I want, and 10 minutes later, my brows look amazing. Something you should know is that my eyebrows are literally shit because I decided to shave half of it when I was a little kid. It never grew back right. Coming here to get it cleaned and shaped one every month really helps my eyebrows look more human. Come here! Also, if you check in, you get 2 bucks off!
If you’re thinking about getting waxed, you should do it here too. It isn’t very painful here because they use sugar, so it is a lot more gentle.

Riya for the win again! I went to Pinky’s Salon to try a closer place to my office and they made my eyebrows SO thin. I had to go back to Riya with my tail between my legs; I told her the story of how they over threaded my eyebrows and she could tell exactly where. As a result, she understood where I wanted to grow them out and worked with me once again on shaping them. She listened carefully and cleaned them up, leaving the right hairs to grow out again. I’m never going anywhere else!

This is my new favorite eyebrow threading salon. Affordable and quick and my eyebrows look better than ever.

Great place for a wax. The woman took her time, was super friendly, and did a great job. The location is clean and I’ve never had to wait for my wax!

I didn’t realize that my eyebrows were uneven for the last two years until I decided to pop by this place. I was nearby the area and decided, why not? I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon around 2 PM and 2 out of 3 chairs were occupied by other girls. Riya was my threader; she really knows how to shape! First thing she said to me was that left eyebrow was arched higher than my right one… Ok so I guess I’ve been walking around like that for the past year or so and no one bothered telling me!
Riya was pretty quick; within 5 minutes she was done and handed me the mirror. It’s the first time that I’ve actually seen my eyebrows in a natural minimal-​arch shape-I’M SOLD! The threading process did hurt a little bit more than what I’m used to, but it might be because I was sunburnt at the time. Your $ 7 threading can be $ 5 with a Unilocal check in and includes threading, trimming, and free aloe.
Extra perks:
1. They have a charging station by the front, just ask!
2. They also offer other services like eyelash extensions, eyebrow tinting, and other typical upper lip threading, etc.
Thank you Riya for making my eyebrows look normal again. $ 5 is more than within my budget (I used to pay close to $ 10 for uneven eyebrows), and I definitely will be back!
