We were looking for a place to eat something before a concert at Carnegie Hall in early May 2014. Pazza Notte was right there when we needed it. It is a cosy Italian restaurant with a fully licensed bar. Before eating we tried the Martinis(2×1 during happy hour!); I had the Lychee Martini and it was delicious. For dinner we had the BBQ Chicken Pizza and the Lasagne. Both were awesome. Service was very good, and the rest rooms were OK. There was a noisy private event at the back of the restaurant, but it was possible to have a conversation at a normal voice volume. Prices are NY standard(I think, including the pre-dinner drinks but not service gratuity, was about 35USD per person).

Went to Pazza Notte with friends to celebrate birthday and friendship last Friday. This was my first time, it was recommended by one of my friends. 2 for 1 Lychee martini excellent, just what I needed, sipped my friends mango martini, both made just the way I like. I had 2 friend had 6. Appetizers were tasty, calamari and bruschetta. I had shrimp scampi which was not so great. No flavor. Just shrimp, pasta and oil. I didn’t taste any other flavors. Friends steak was tasty. Other friend had salmon. It looked appealing but I have no feedback regarding taste. Would I go again. Yes for the drinks. I would definitely try a different dish.

I didn’t come for food but nibbled on my friends yummies and oh baby. I find ordering sea food a miss especially if somebody’s momma isn’t back there. Anyhoo, had a lip smacking adult special drink, it was a combination of making me giddy and sensual delight. I felt like a bona fide adult it’s a shadowy subdued metropolitan bar. Appletini perfection… Not sweet adult tasting. Come feel the atmosphere leave feeling smokey and mellow.

Let me say that this place has the Best Food and Service hands down. I’ve been coming here for years and I have to say that it’s a Gem in Manhattan. 241 Martini’s every night and that’s why this ladies and gentlemen is been Dubbed The Martini Mecca. Today I’m having A Burger after hearing someone brag about it the other day and not being able to try(only served for Lunch) I’m in heaven. Hats of to the Chef David Walsh and the great Staff that keep this place going and last but not least Tove for being such a Humble individual in her Organization. If you’ve never been here please make it your business to try!!!

Came here for brunch on a busy Sunday afternoon. We were seated quickly which was surprising as we were a party of 8. The service was good not great but still accommodating for how busy it was. What really stands out about this Italian eatery is the beautiful wood oven burning soon as you walk in, amazing bread upon seating, and the fresh ingredients and seafood quality.

It’s a good deal for Happy Hour. 2 Martinis for the price of 1. Lots of types too– fruity and classic. If you are ok with well vodka, this is for you. The bar bites are also very good. Go for the French Fry Trio– in love with the Salt & Vinegar flavor.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while for their $ 15 lunch special. The ambiance is beautiful — very classy and Italian. The servers are nice/attentive. I ordered the calamari fritti and the penne a la vodka. Some of the pieces of calamari were cooked PERFECTLY, others were very dry. I did like that the calamari came with two different sauces. The pasta was also dry… like how microwaved pasta tastes :(it actually looked microwaved, too. I would consider going back and trying something else, since my coworker got a panini and seemed to really enjoy it.

Most people deserve a second chance and Pazza Notte has certainly earned it this time around. Considering last year’s crash and burn lunch experience, my friend and I were very apprehensive about coming here again. I eventually had the opportunity to finally use the gift certificate they left for me last year. We decided to go for dinner on Friday, March 25th. When we entered, we were warmly greeted by the staff and DJ who was mixing a great set for the crowd. We were immediately seated at the front window area. This is one of my favorite spots in the restaurant since you get to people watch and enjoy the interior ambiance. We quickly received the menu and the info about their 2 for 1 martini happy hour special. I ordered the Sicilian Blood Orange and my friend had the Apple. Both martinis were mixed very well and had a perfect balance of fruit and strength. For our appetizer, we ordered the Caprese Classica with Prosciutto. The entire dish was absolutely delicious and fresh. It was an amazing blend of mozzarella, cherry tomatoes with just a touch of balsamic. For our main dish, we decided on the Risotto Di Aragosta(Lobster Risotto). My friend never had it and felt like she was in heaven. It is my favorite dish and it is normally what I order when I dine here. The quality, flavor and texture has not changed over the years. I love how they ensure the plate is dressed with a considerable amount of lobster. The presentation is still just as lovely and pleasing to the eye. This time, I wasn’t made to feel like an airport marshaller to gain the attention of the wait staff. They kept an eagle eye on our table and provided a helpful hand when our table became a bit dish crowded, checked our meal enjoyment and overall became a part of our relaxing Friday night. This was especially important to us since we didn’t receive this level of attentiveness the last time we were here. We were so thrilled to enjoy this experience from start to finish. We have decided we will join them again for happy hour in the near future. I will definitely return during lunch for my lobster risotto. I can honestly say this second chance has made me forgive last year’s stumble. It is back on my recommendation list :-) Keep up the excellent work!

I came in for a quick and I was hoping Delish bite from the prix fixe. I had the calamari… so delish, and the Cabernet… highly recommend it. Then tried the signature chicken dish… LeSigh. Best part of that meal was the salad. Sent it back and got spaghetti Bolognese, again… LeSigh. I left ¾ of it at the restaurant. The server Luis was great though, for the most part. I’m disappointed, for sure.

My boyfriend and i came here for lunch and we ordered the BBQ pizza with truffle fries. The portions are generous and it was by far one of the best pizzas I’ve had and the fries were divine. Id definitely come back :)

Good, friendly service and varied lunch menu. The squash soup is wonderful and is served with two delicious, grainy rolls. A good place to grab lunch. Very casual, but the work bunch eats here, too. It is very crowded and quite loud, but it is a «happy» loud. Many singles with books or magazines relaxing over a simple, mid-afternoon snack or lunch, as well as couples and groups of four or more. A very active bar scene.

To come here and order anything other than the lasagna, would be a disservice to yourself. I ordered the«chicken of the house» and 3 wrong orders later I was bummed it wasn’t nearly as good as my Uncle’s lasagna, which I’d hungrily already had a few bites from. The 2 for 1 martinis made the wait bearable. Honestly, the atmosphere martinis and 1 bite of that delicious lasagna is what makes his review 4 stars instead of 3.

I came here for the first time 5 years ago. I used to work in the neighborhood and a friend and I was walking by and saw the 2 for 1 martinis sign. Being a connoisseur of libations we had to check it out. Not much has changed in the last 5 years. The price of the martinis. Use to be $ 11/$ 12 is now $ 15. But that’s still a great deal and they don’t skimp on the booze. The portion and presentation of the truffle fries. The cut of steak and some things are seasonal. Other than that things have been pretty consistent. This is just a loud place. If you want a nice quiet dining experience. The afterwork dinner crowd is not the time. I haven’t been in before 6pm so I don’t know if lunch is quieter. They have a occasional DJ always spinning a eclectic mix of hot tunes that I always enjoy. They utilize every square inch of the space. Tables are pretty close together. I like the seating in the back. That can be reserved for private party. Couches are comfy and it’s a little quieter. I hate the seats in between the bathroom and the private room. It’s just too much bustle going on in that area and the table is too small. The ambience is weird. Though it is a restaurant at times you forget and think your in a lounge or club. I would say the front seating/service feels more like a traditional restaurant experience. When seated in the back the service can be a little too laid back at times. However I’ve only had a bad service experience once. 1 out 50 are good odds. I absolutely live for the Parmesan truffle fries with the aioli. I mean my friend and I usually eat one order each and split a third. Don’t judge me. They are pretty cheap with the aioli. But the server is usually a good sport about bringing me extra. The seasonal butternut squash soup is divine. Well seasoned, flavorful, creamy and bright. So satisfying and heart warming. Pizza is tasty. The Margherita is my fave. I appreciate the thin crust. As it allows you to indulge more and not feel overly stuffed after. The shrimp scampi with linguini is delicious. Can’t go wrong with a sauce made up of garlic, white wine, shallots and a touch of lemon. The lobster risotto is delicious. Risotto is usually well made they do skimp on the lobster and I’ve received my lobster overcooked more times than I would’ve like. The calamari is decent. I’ve had better and worse. It was crisp. Ton of tubes may find a few tentacles as well. Some pieces were too chewy. I prefer New England style in terms of taste. The steak frites is good. I usually sub for parmesan truffle fries and it’s not a hassle. Steak has a nice char and I usually receive at the correct requested temperature. I request no sauce. Penne carbonara was subpar. Pancetta was dried out, sauce was minuscule and penne was slightly undercooked. I love al dente but that was al notdone. It was a friends entrée. She didn’t want to send back. She should’ve though. The bread is good they usually only give 1 per person but you can always get more if you ask. I’m not a big fan of the infused butter that accompanies it. Olive oil please! It can get pricey. But what’s not pricey these days 2 for $ 20 at Applebee’s I guess. My friends and I tend to lack self control when dining out. So I’ve never spent under $ 100 here. The passion fruit, lychee and peach martinis are my fave. They have decent wine as well. Overall PN has been a staple in my life over the years. I’ll be in soon for some truffle fries and a martini.

Love this place! Was recommended by the concierge at our hotel and I’m so glad she pointed us in this direction. Cute local place, lots of character and charm. I had the linguine scampi with shrimp and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The garlic was not overpowering, the shrimp was cooked perfectly and the pasta tasted very fresh. Absolutely delicious. Service was a bit slow at times, but I didn’t care. At least I didn’t feel rushed to get out of there. Highly recommended.

Loud, moderately expensive, average food. We came here for a group get together and it was so hard to hear everyone! I did however, enjoy the complimentary bread and biscotti that accompanied our meal. Drinks: I think this place is famous for their 2 for 1 martini special — downside is that the two martinis have to be the same flavor. We got two lychee martinis. They are very strong — tastes very boozy. Decent lychee martini with a lychee on the bottom of the cup. Food: We ordered two apps(tomato and mozzarella and calamari) and three pizza. Don’t remember what the flavors were but they were all decent, but nothing to write home about. Ran about 20 $ per person not including drinks.

This rating is based on my lunch experience, and it wasn’t a great one. They advertised a $ 15 lunch special, so my colleagues and I thought it would be a great place for a quick lunch. It’s a prefix menu, so you chose a primi and secondi. To start, I ordered the soup special(butternut squash), but I instead received the tomato basil. I ended up sticking with it, and I was the only good part of the meal. My secondi was a half panini with prosciutto, cheese, and pesto. They also charged our entire table $ 10 for still water. Overall the food was average and way to expensive for the portion and quality. Our waiter was the only good part of the experience. Definitely won’t be back.

Came here with my sister and niece for Sunday lunch. We ordered two pizzas(a pepperoni and one with a bunch of different meats), and it was more than enough. The servers were kind and quick, and the food was delicious. They even gave us biscotti with the check. Four stars!

Finding late night restaurants can be a midtown challenge in the city that never sleeps. This one, fortunately, serves until at least 11pm. We arrived late,(10:20) and the place was plenty busy. The menu is brasserie/bistro style and very good. Price is fair considering the real estate(e.g., our dinner was the same price as our lunch at the rip-off deli I posted about. The pizza frutti di mare wasn’t what I expected. I had visions of frank pepe’s clam pie coming, with incidental bits of shrimp and lobster accompanying it. Instead, it was essentially a bed of greens with colds chopped seafood and a salad mix of shallots, tomatoes etc. on top of a flatbread. Tasty, but I should have not assumed. Great ambiance — I suspect it’s ideal for the pre-show crowd. The 2−4−1 martini is a large draw as well.

Nice brunch spot — good portions, solid food, and great service. Their brunch special with drinks is a pretty good deal. The complimentary bread was a lightly sweetened roll, really good. I got a Bloody Mary — first time trying it so can’t tell how good it was, but not my type of drink! I also got the Classic eggs benedict, which came with a side of home fries(tasty potatoes) and salad. Actually really enjoyed everything on the plate. My friend got a mimosa(ok, have had better) and the Western omelette, which was also very good.
