My favorite place to get a quick breakfast or snack! The cranberry pineapple pastry is so good. And the sandwiches and salads are great too. The only reason I don’t eat here more often is because the calories can really add up quickly. The workers are always efficient and courteous too. Sometimes there it a line, but it’s worth it to wait!

The lemon-frosted cronut is to die for. I’ve not yet had the chance to try Dominique Ansel’s so I can’t really compare the two. However, the cronut here is amazing. –1 star because it was definitely on the greasy side – soaked through the paper bag and the napkin I held it with as I indulged in every bite. I’d come here more often if it wasn’t so far from me. But perhaps that’s a good thing for my diet ;)

As some of you know, my job involves mass quantities of catering. I have come to Paris Baguette quite a few times to pick up sweets and treats for various office functions and team meetings. There were nothing but rave reviews that time I brought that over-sized strawberry shortcake to an anniversary celebration, and the macarons are always a hit. Side note: I adore the uniforms that the workers wear there!

I work right across the street from this location and when I need a sweet treat this to my go to. I love the chocolate chip strawberry pastry they have. It has the perfect combination of chocolate with fresh whole strawberries. Yum! The prices are affordable for NYC and the food seems to always be fresh. I would recommend going if you are looking for a quick sweet treat!

Great place for occasion cakes and fresh daily sandwiches! While the café is not Parisian at all(it’s a Korean bakery with people wearing b&w striped shirts and berets), the cakes have that not-too-sweet balance that Asians do so well in desserts. The cakes are beautifully decorated and I feel fairly priced for what you are getting. For your convenience, they also have birthday candles and paper party hats for sale at the counter which is a nice touch! I am especially impressed by their sandwiches which are hands down much fresher than that the Pret A Manger across the street. Totally obsessed with the salmon avocado sandwich with chive cream. Seating is not plentiful here so it’s probably best to grab and go.

What not to like? It’s heaven! Everything is sooooo tasty and fresh. And the people here are so nice and friendly. But it’s more to take out than to set in because it has only few tables. Again the cakes are very very fresh and tasty and prices are not expensive for NYC

I always come here to get birthday cakes for my coworkers whenever there’s a birthday, or for any occasion– Paris Baguette is the place to get celebratory cakes! But of course, with all chain restaurants. food is pretty consistent. It’s always more of a judgment on the service, the display, and the atmosphere. If you haven’t noticed already, in most of the photos. the shelves are not well stocked. It could be any time of day and I have never seen a full shelf. Even for the whole cakes, which they use as sample and not for sale, it’s not full! How could this be possible? They definitely need work on stocking the shelves. which brings me to my second point. They aren’t understaffed. They have two cashiers which is kind of perfect, since there’s only two registers and 3 people just hanging out behind the displays. The people who work here are definitely on the younger side, and you would overhear their conversations sometimes which makes the whole place not very café-like. Of course, the seating is downstairs and upstairs where all the delectable treats are is very crowded. For it’s location, the vibe when you walk in is definitely strange. Overall, I think this Paris Baguette could have a lot of work. Not only from the employees, but the design and layout of the overall store. Like, why do you need a door only to open another door?

Holy cow. Their desserts are INCREDIBLE!!! The seating area isn’t great, but in NYC, it’s not shocking. The third floor has a good view, but I was too busy engulfing my food to look.

This place was such a life saver when I went to a friend’s birthday celebration and realized that no one bought her a cake. As soon as I walked in, I saw so many pastries that I wanted for myself but I had to practice some self-restraint. They had a few cake options for me to choose from including a strawberry shortcake and chocolate cake. I went with the strawberry shortcake and my friend absolutely loved it! I couldn’t find any other bakeries with cake options to buy and walk out with so Paris Baguette was perfect. Also the candles for cakes are free! Nice perk. Customized icing must be ordered a day before the cake is needed. Pros — Delicious pastries, a decent amount of seating with great lighting, nice service

Obsessed. with. Strawberry cream cake. Light, moist cake layered with light, not-too-sweet, just beautiful, fluffy whipped cream as frosting with fresh sliced strawberries and a touch of powdered sugar… It is the best $ 5.50 ever spent! It’s so light and decadent. I just can’t rave about it enough!

I think I came here every single day last year but haven’t been back in awhile. Went to re-visit over the weekend, and saw they moved the refrigerated foods section around so there is more walking space in the store. Breads were just as good(my favorite is the chocolate bread– it’s a must get!), they marked the calories of each item on the sign, and the actual store looked just as clean and spiffy as before. This is still my fav PB location in the city.

Stopped by to grab a slice of very berry cake before it closing. This year, PB is selling a variety of cookies in Santa Clasus decorated tin cans and plain glass bottles — cute packaging but overpriced for the mini cookies. Being a fan of all things related to cute packaging, I brought a tin of vanilla cookies — which was delicious but certainly not worth $ 6. The slice of cake was simply mouth watering and I enjoyed it immensely.

Let me start by saying I love their pastries. I attempt to go here every Friday when I’m not traveling since my office is directly across the street. Reason for the 2 stars you ask? 80% of the time I walk in there the shelves are half empty. I wait, and wait, and wait… Nothing comes out! They either need to increase their oven inventory or plan accordingly. Quite sure I’m moving to one of the dozen or so pastry shops in a two block radius. Peace out Paris Baguette! Again, a week later and NO stinking pastries.

I think many people are not aware that this eatery is actually a Korean-run chain. They have a little Asian patisserie up front, and have many little and large cakes on display. They also make pretty awesome coffee drinks with variations. 1. Hot horchata: It tastes like Christmas, believe it or not. With the cinnamon and milky taste, it’s the perfect cup of hotness you need on a cold New York night. Very yummy. 2. Green tea cheesecake: OK, so it’s kind of a misnomer, but it’s very very good. It’s basically a good dense cheesecake topped by a green tea flavored thing(not sure it’s cheesecake), so the flavor isn’t mixed into the cake. It comes with a thin piece of chocolate. There are only a few tables, so at certain times, you may not be able to get a seat. There is a staircase that goes downstairs, but it’s for storage and boxes only, as you can see it filtering up the stairs. I find these to be common at Asian eateries, and think it’s an eyesore.

Oh ! Paris Baguette… Je t’aime ! …or… I could also say. naneun dangsin-eul salang haeyo Which means the same thing in Korean, the language used at the headquarters of this amazing bakery and patisserie ! Everything I had was just outstanding, the Pain au Chocolat and the Fruit Tart were so good !! Flaky, tasty, crisp, delicious… overall very good… and I have been to Paris many times, and I am very happy with Paris Baguette. You can find many stores around NYC(and other US and World cities)…some are large and offer a wide menu, some are smaller and have the basic, key pastries, breads and cakes that have made them famous. Stop by and delight your senses !!

Delicious. This was my first time visiting a Paris Baguette location. They’re right by my office but I always pass by without even glancing at them. I recently stopped by with someone who swears by them and I was surprised by how delicious everything was! We stopped in for a quick dinner so I grabbed the turkey and brie sandwich on a croissant. The brie was some of the best I’ve ever had, the turkey was delicious, and the croissant… Oh baby. Now I understand why people go here just to buy their bread. I had to treat myself to something sweet so I went with a twister type of doughnut. It was light and fluffy and not overly sweet. There is barely any place to sit in here, which is its only downside. During the lunch rush, I can see why people would grab and go. Bar type seating against the window with a handful of tables and chairs. One restroom. Two registers. But tons of food is in stock, no matter what time of day.

A paris themed bakery cum coffee shop, this place has some pretty looking desserts. From soft sponge cheese cakes to cranberry scones, their products are visually stunning. Taste wise, I had a scone, walnut bread and a Green tea Frappucino. The scone was butter like it should be, the walnut bread was innovative and the green tea Frappucino had just 80 calories which works just fine for me! Overall I liked their stuff.

Paris Baguette is an established Korean institution of baking and culinary excellence(since 86′) when it comes to pastries. Like its name it focuses on the French inspired pastries such as croissants but also adds the Korean influence in the form of green tea flavored red bean buns and Classic Asian pastries. This location lacks in the Asian flavored items but offers a lot of things that would appeal to the masses(macarons, little fruity and creamy pastries and cheesecakes, green tea rolls and sponge cakes). I was delighted to discover that they’ve tried to create the cronut. Now this is trademarked so they might want to call it something else such as the other bakeries that are churning this product out(Millie fuellie which I can never spell on la guardia and chikalicious to name a few). They had a peachy flavored one I decided to try. It was delicious! And I don’t have to wait in a stupid line early in the morning like a scourge. The other thing they can do well is smoothie and iced drinks. They’re a little bit on the sweet side for me but very tasty to have a green tea strawberry mojito. I wanted to have a green tea smoothie or latte but they were out of matcha. Until the next time I guess. They also have random savory things like sandwiches for those on the go. Nothing spectacular but good enough for lunchtime! The space is small(seats maybe 10 – 15?) so don’t come here with a ton of peeps!

I normally go to Maison Kayser for my French pastry, but they are 14 blocks from were I work. When I heard about Paris Bagutte being only 3 blocks I decided to give them a try. I got a Au Pan and some small mini Macaroons. The Au Pan was not as good as I got use to but it was $ 2.50 or about a dollar or so less than Maison Kayser. It tasted good but not as flaky, maybe it was undercooked., but I’m not sure. The mini Macaroons came 3 in a pack, Raspberry, Blueberry and Coconut. and they were on the sweet side but still so so. I most likely go get to try some of the other items when I don’t feel like walking to Maison Kayser during lunch time.

Paris is a chain and I personally think the ones in northern VA are better, well and Korea, duh. That being said, don’t get the cronut. It’s a korean bakery and croissants aren’t in our repertoire anyway. Red bean, soboro(peanut crusted), chestnut and sweet potato filled breads are solid korean staples if you want to try. I think the bakeries in ktown are better representations though.
