I find the food to be great and yeah maybe they can put more toppings on the pies. Customer Service isn’t the best but I have seen a LOT worse then this. Always comes before my delivery time.

This is one of the crappier Papa Johns I’ve ever been to. I don’t make a habit of buying chain pizza in NYC, especially with NYC hotspots like Patsy’s in the area, but sometimes the deals Papa Johns offers are too good to pass up. Anyway, if you do carryout at this location, it’s not that bad. My horrible experiences have been with delivery. Both times I had delivery from this place my order either didn’t show up(first time) or it came wrong and half the cheese had slide off the pizza. I’d try the papa johns on 92nd and 3rd if you can.

I had the worst experience with this papa johns. After an hour and 15 minutes of placing my order I called them and asked what was the status of my order. A guy picked up and said it had been out for delivery a half hour ago, I asked if he had move deliveries because I only live a few blocks away from this papa johns location and it does not take more than 30 minutes to get to me, especially on bike/car. I called back another 20 minutes later since it was already two hours and my order was still not here, this time I asked to speak to the manager and a lady came on the phone. EXTREMELYRUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL, I told her it had been two hours and my order still had not arrived. She claimed that the delivery guy called me couple of times but he did not, I had my phone on me waiting and kept checking. I told her that and I also mentioned that my buzzer was not rang and she says that’s not what they do. wtf? All in all please save yourself from ordering from this papa johns because it’s shit. you’ll never get your order on time

Waited over an hour and a half on a Seamless order to be told it was out and on the way. Called again 20 minutes later and the manager claimed they didn’t have my order in their records. When I questioned how they said earlier it was on the way, the manager said«She didn’t tell me that.» After Seamless called to straighten it out, they didn’t even have one of the toppings I ordered.

Unprofessional is an understatement. I don’t know why I attempted to order from this location again; my last experience was a few months ago, and not much has changed. We placed our order for delivery at 6:40pm, estimated delivery time was 40−50minutes. They call me at 7:30 to tell me they’re out of wings. They didn’t offer a substitute, I had to ask for it. The guy on the phone was unprofessional, and didn’t know how to speak properly. He tells me our order will be delivered in another 15min. It arrived at 830, the pizza was not hot. If we weren’t so hungry, I would have sent it back. This will be the last time I order from this location. I shoulda ordered dominos instead

They barely put any topings in the 2 pizzas, seriously it was a sad pizza. And from the prices that they show in the flyer they dont include taxes and they charge some other delivery fee. Plus the tip that you have give to the guy . Never ever ever I will order from papa Johns . Only one good thing: delivery was super fast

The WORST pizza joint I have ever seen. Ordered my pizza online at 6:40pm, it is now 9:00pm and I still haven’t received anything. Called them three times, but no one picks up. The telephone prompt gives you the option of speaking to the store or an operator. Tried both options, neither went anywhere. At this point, I will deny delivery and deny the charge on my credit card because I’m not in the mood to eat cold pizza before bed. STAYAWAYFROMTHISJUNK

Living in NYC we never order chain pizza. Kids wanted to try it so I agreed. One pie took an hour and a half to deliver. It arrived cold. The extra large is smaller than at any of our local places. I’m surprised this place exists.

Tonight, Friday June 13, 2014, I placed an order(Confirmation # 287907759) for delivery at 8:43pm. I live only 4 and a half blocks away. I got home from work late and the kids are hungry. I waited a little over an hour for my deliver and decided to call the store at 9:53pm for the status of my delivery. The guy who answered the phone sounded tired and asked me if I could hold and I said yes. Then a female voice abruptly answers the phone yelling ‘HELLO?” and then immediately hangs up the phone. I called back and the same tired sounding guy answers again asking me to hold. I told him I would not hold because of how I had just been disconnected from the previous call. I then asked him about the status of my order. He said that the order was«leaving now.» I said ok and then waited another half hour for my order to arrive. I called again at 10:26pm. This time I spoke to a female. I explained to her that I had been waiting almost 2 hours with my food and told her that the last person I spoke to told me my food was leaving when I last called. She had an attitude and said«well I don’t know who you spoke to but I’m the manager.» I asked again about my order and told her that this is unacceptable — again she had an attitude(she seemed ghetto), I guess she did not like the tone in my voice after waiting almost 2 hours for my food to arrive and said that my order has not been sent out yet. So I asked her why would someone give me the wrong information– she was not apologetic, she didn’t seem to care at all that an order that had been placed a while ago had not been sent out. I asked her if it will be leaving soon and she said it will be sent in a while. That’s when I requested to cancel my order– I know she didn’t care either. I ordered from Papa John’s previously and NEVER had a problem like this before. In fact, I placed the very same order that I made tonight last week and all was well(except receiving a regular Mountain Dew instead of diet). I did not expect to get this kind of service and I am very disappointed with the demeanor of the employees towards me. I had to cancel my order and step out to Little Caesars to pick up a pizza after working 12 hours today. I doubt I will place any orders with Papa John’s in the future.

This Papa John’s is the worst!!! Whenever I call there is always some type of issue. Recently I called and was asked to call back in 10 minutes because there system was down. When I called back I was asked– are you sure you want to order? It’s going to be about a 2 – 3 hour wait for delivery. It’s a shame too because my kids love Papa John’s. So frustrating.

I’m not sure why this location is listed twice, but in case there is a reason I will share my thoughts on it again. You know what to expect when you go to Papa Johns, and that same cheesy smell of happiness can be found here too. This Papa Johns is reliable and efficient. I have been ordering from here on occasion for about a year and never experienced any problems. I always pick up my orders myself so I cannot comment on their delivery service. As for the food itself, the orders have always been ready on time and have always been prepared correctly. The workers in there are reasonably friendly and will treat you with respect. Unlike some outlets that are super tiny, this one is spacious enough to have a wooden bench for you to rest on while you wait. The ONETIME that there was a mistake on my order it was my own fault. I placed the order to a different location and didn’t realize it until I went to pick up a pizza that was not there. The lady at the register was able to help me get the order canceled so that I could reuse the special promotion code I had to get a free pizza. She seemed more concerned with me getting back my money and promotion code than she was with trying to get me to order another pizza. I thought that was genuine and it made a difference.
